Graphics looked amazing. Really had a "Western Witcher 3" feel to it with the way you could interract with NPCs and just kind of go explore the world. I'm pretty excited!

Here's the youtube video link for those who missed it!

hahah "gameplay" video.

shows 85% cutscene footage

And they continue to pretend that there won't be a definitive PC version to try to sucker people into double dipping. What a scumbag company.

It sounds like you're not going to have all your weapons on you at all time. They said the saddle gives you extra inventory for weapons.

Well, they know people will double dip. I'm waiting for PC version myself.

I like the idea of your horse being used more realistically like this.

"Oh shit, I didn't think there would be this many guys here, I better head back and grab my rifle off of Roach!"

These little touches are what make Rockstar games feel so alive. This tease was just what I needed. I can't wait to meet the gang!

Torn on the console vs pc for this one. What I don't like is the $80 Special Edition that locks story mode content behind it.

First Red Dead was unfortunately for me a bore fest after a few hours but i definitely will give this one a try.

Agreed, I want the best version of this game but I doubt paying $20-$40 over the base price is worth it. Who am I kidding though, I am going to buy the $100 version of this game if I can set aside that much by then.

it's almost as if... rockstar... knows... which platforms... are the most profitable to launch with...

the trailer and game itself look phenomenal and I am in Day 1 for PS4 version. Give me the most deluxe steel booked version they have.

Man it really does look like Witcher 3 set in the Wild West. I'm gonna have to quit my job and break up with my girlfriend since RDR2 will take over my life.

Yeah go ahead, defend a company intentionally misleading consumers to try to bilk them out of more money. How's that ball gag feel in your mouth? Comfy?

Don't think I've been excited for any title this much since Breath of the Wild and before that GTA5.

Need to schedule some time off for this because I can already tell it's not a video game, it's a vortex designed to look like a video game that's going to steal countless souls for days culminating in relationships across the world being compromised in the name of establishing a better relationship with a digital horse. Sorry honey......you just can't do for me what Ned the horse does *brushes vigorously*

Yeah this has GOTY written all over it. Still pissed about lack of PC version at launch, guess I am gonna be one of those suckers to buy PS4 Pro version first, then sell and get the PC version for second playthrough. It looks magnificent.

It looks like Rockstar wants to one up CDP.
What remains to be seen is if they can match or exceed CDP in writing and quest design.
CDP will have their work cut out for them with Cyberpunk though :)

lol easy there, junior. i'm sorry you are so hurt that the platform you've probably invested a lot of money in is always treated like a second class citizen despite the core fanbase trying to act like they are the "master" platform. It's not the case.

There is plenty of time to start saving up on your paper route for a nice base PS4 or Xbox One to play on. Then in two years you'll be able to pirate your PC copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 (out of protest for not being available at launch and really stick it to Rockstar) and go back to your cave and play with a higher framerate.

It looks SO incredible! Everything I absolutely wanted and MORE! I always loved the random engagements you'd have in Redemption, I love that they're even MORE interactive now. I seriously cannot wait.

This is insane! I don't really like wild west settings, but this will make gaming history if it will really play and look like this. I can't imagine nextgen games if this is possible on ps4.

Wow, this looks so damn good. Pre-ordering the game this weekend. But I won't watch any more gameplay vids until release, I've seen enough.

Yeah this does truly look like the next big step in open world design. I'm also very fond of the lower right button prompts for actions/reactions, should add a lot of variety to NPC encounters.

Guys, I think this might end up being a sleeper hit.

Edit: Who's making the GAF Gang/Club/Whatever they call it for the online?

Wow - I was expecting to be underwhelmed, but 5 seconds into the video I had full recall of how much I enjoyed RDR. This really feels like a next level version of RDR.

Meanwhile at RE: "Why can't I play as a girl!!!!!!!!" So predictably pathetic. Video looked amazing.

Well, I would definitely be okay with a special mode in which we play as a female... grizzly bear who punches bobcats in the face & eats humans for breakfast.

As for Red Dead 2, I had to stop watching this gameplay clip after a couple of minutes because I don't even want the locations & vistas spoiled, i.e. it's one of those generation defining games totally worth the hype. All the little details were stunning & I can't wait. I bet this little puppy will look amazing in 4K as well (on One X).

It's basically a game which answers the question "why the fuck do I still play video games?" with an emphatic "this, right here". Nice to see bullet time (dead eye) return as well. The gunplay was great in the first (especially once auto aim was disabled), ergo I expect even better this time.

The gunplay seems to be HEAVILY inspired by Max Payne 3 it seems. You carry your guns, like rifles, around or put them on your back.

The BIG question is:
Will the shooting mechanics at least on par with Max Payne 3

Because for me: pretty graphic, wonderful story and living detailed world feel pointless without superb gameplay.

GOTY incoming

but i really didn't care much for the SP in RDR1, i just want more of the same masterpiece of a MP that was in RDR1, no GTA V's online bullshit, just a simple and amazing MP like in RDR1

RDR1 is the only game i have finished from Rockstar. Everything else i get bored and quit playing it. I hope this one is better than the first. RDR1 was ok, it was a good game but not GOTY.

What was it like? I never got a chance to try RDR online.
