You know I was fine with the whole thing then I saw the price? How are they justifying Tetris the game that has a million clones to be worth this price.

People bitching about a $40 game with literally unlimited replayability 🙄

I'd pay $25-30 at most.

It's the best version of Tetris in existence, I'd say. That's how. It's absolutely superb. I got a review code and I'm still spending $40 on a physical copy as this is a game I must own.

Same way they justified Dreamcast/PS2 Rez being a very simple (even by the time) on-rails shooter for full price: With amazing visuals that transport you to a meditative synaesthesia experience in VR, with an eclectic soundtrack that reacts to your every move.

I agree without a doubt, playing in 4K HDR is dreamy. Planning on trying it in PSVR over the weekend.

Can't even find a damn copy of it, there was supposed to be a physical uk version coming but it's nowhere to be found the only physical one i have seen so far is the usa version. No way im paying full whack for a digital version with zero resale ability.

I'm usually against digital copies. Over inflated price and nothing physical to show for it. However, in the case of a puzzle game like this I actually prefer digital as I can keep the game I am currently playing in the disk drive, but quickly load up Tetris Effect in short bursts.

Hmmm alright I dunno I'll have to see lol I don't own a PSVR so that part of the game will be unknown to me. But I guess I should probably give it a shot first

I’ve barely touched it in VR! Don’t need it. It’s fantastic either way.

Going to pick up my copy after work today, I would normally never really listen to the type of music you hear in Tetris Effect but after playing the demo, I'm actually kind of liking it and I'm super curious to see how the rest of it sounds. This is a pretty sweet game in PSVR, visually its a treat obviously but maybe its best feature is, its progressive.

The music, the visuals, the more lines your drop towards your goal/ target amount of lines (atleast in the demo) the more visuals open up at the bottom and top of the screen, the more the music intensifies adding more notes and lyrics and because you're so honed in, when you're in VR it just becomes a really immersive way to find yourself in the zone playing Tetris.

Things I wish the game had:

-Effects Mode having an option to use the Zone Mechanic, with its own separate leaderboards = double the game modes.

-Ability to use any BGM on any "scene".

-Ability to manually set the number of lines needed to shift to 2nd and third phase of the scene. This would make Marathon mode much better.

-Let's go all out and let us design a custom scene by mix-matching any background with any music/SFX and any style of tetrimino.

Game would perfect then.

Up to the last stage on journey, music and visuals are what you’d expect, awesome.

Anyone knows what is unlocked when journey is complete?

Visualizer mode: Watch and relax with the beautiful backgrounds without having the Tetris board distracting you.
