I haven't done any of the exhibition matches myself for that reason.

Well, I was able to beat every challenge except the last one. I went through all the trouble of leveling and maxing out Medea only to find out that she doesn't get rid of the instant death buff unless she *doesn't* kill the Hassan. I kept rolling on that battle despite losing Medea early and still cleared it. Medea Lily was an absolute MVP with Pain Breaker to heal and get rid of those defense/card debuffs.
Gil challenge was way harder than I was expecting it would be, tried it 9 or 10 times until I eventually just spammed him with Command Seal NPs. Siegfried one took me a few tries, but eventually cleared that with Emiya, Jack, Waver, Gil and Event Shiki. Medb I beat the first try, didn't realize she brought in 2 instant cast NP casters at the end which almost ended my full Assassin team run, but I managed to win it anyway. The only one I had to use Command Seals on was Gil. I didn't even try the Nero one but I'm out of CS's now and the strategies I read mostly involve saving them for Nero at the end, so I'm ok missing a ticket and a lore.
How'd you guys do? I'm ready for this 1/2 AP Embers, I got a lot of Knight Medals, but still need a ton of XP

I did one of the final missions to farm for the red things so I could get some rolls in. Come to find out I could do it pretty easily with a group of saber units. I haven't tried anything else. I'm not interested in that hard stuff.

Fair! I actually enjoyed the challenge quests, though I usually waste too many resources leveling up a gimmick servant for it only not to matter so much.
I like the lotto box events for all the ember/QP/MPs you can get, unfortunately I've been away for work all week so I haven't had much chance to take advantage. I did at least fully ascend Lancer Artoria, Archuria, and Saberlot thanks to the medals in the boxes. Still need a ton for skills though.

Man I love 1/2 AP embers. I've burned like 17 apples already, still going strong. I have very little interest in the Halloween rerun event coming up other than getting MLB Halloween Princess finally.

Well, my glorious 1/2 AP is over, but maxed out a bunch more servants. I'm going to be really casual on this Halloween re-run. I'm in for bones/dragon teeth/Embers and a Halloween Princess CE to MLB it finally, then I'm out. I have a few new interludes and strengthening quests to do, to keep me busy. I don't want to get burn out before the new Halloween event starts.

Then just farm whatever you feel like. The new halloween event should start in about 1-2 weeks.
I already got the grail. I ended up with some rainbow thing instead. Like I said, last year I did the whole thing, but didn't spend my points in time since I figured I'd have more time to get the things I wanted. Now that I got them (I already had her NP built up to max), not sure what to do. I think I'll go after the EXP cards since there are a couple of folks I should probably get to max level now.

Yikes, sorry. To be honest, I don't see what's so great about Jeanne Alter. I pulled her the first time around, and can count on one hand how many times I've used her. I think Cu Berserker is a way better unit that fills a similar niche of being a buster damage machine, but with added survivability in place of the crit buffs. If anything, I wish I'd have NP2 him.
I saw JP's new welfare unit for Halloween finally is not a Liz, it's a themed Shuten Douji. Her NP is badass too.
I'm excited for the new Halloween event, even though we have had content recently, the game has never felt so dead to me.

New event in 2 days, I hope to god it has some Medals. I'm almost caught up in ascending servants I like and want to use, but so many newer servants are held hostage by these damn medals.
You going to pull at all for Cleo/Vlad? I'm going to do a few 10 pulls because of the boring banners lately, but this is the first time I'm actually hoping to get the CE instead of the servants. I'd love a MLB Dangerous Beast. 20% Quick boost and 4 stars per turn at MLB. Couple that with Jack/Scat/MHX and a Waver with 2030. Nice.
I don't have enough SQ to do anything and I used all of the tickets as well as the tickets they've been giving us recently. Not sure if I really care about it, though. I'm at a point where I haven't gotten any new servants in a LONG time and the ones I have are all leveled up. They're so damn stingy giving servants that I'm in this state where there's nothing left to do for me. I hope the upcoming event is good, but I have a feeling the welfare servants gonna be meh and I'm gonna be stuck in the same place I've been for over a month now. It's so bad that I'm just leveling stuff up because I was getting full on EXP cards. Ugh.
I hope you get what you're looking for. Since it's a CE, you should have a decent chance to walk away happy.

Brave Liz is actually great as a welfare unit. Her NP at NP5 actually does more damage than almost all of 5* Sabers NP1/2. Plus she has a skill that eats 100% of her NP gauge for a random effect. Kinda gimmicky, but given some luck, really strong. Like it can heal everyone's HP to full or make them invincible for a round.
Anyway, I don't think that any of the welfares have been truly bad units. Probably the least useful so far was Summer Scathatch, but I hear she's useful in the upcoming christmas event.
I didn't know that Cleopatra is an Assassin. Damn, I would have saved up for that instead of trying for Jeanne Alter. Oh well, not that I was gonna get her anyway, but it would have been cool to give it a shot. Not sure how this event is gonna be, but I hope it's not too grindy.

I always have this problem too. Really I should just clean out my second archive CEs, but that's too much work, lol.
Did 3 multis and 15 tickets, got both Vlad and Cleo, but no Dangerous Beast >_<.

Man, you have some crazy luck. 3 multis and you got both Vlad and Cleo? Damn. I've done way more than that an got nothing. I still feel bad to think that I did 5 10 pulls with the Summer banner and got nothing. Not one unit. Not even one of the 4* units. This game really sucks... a lot. Heh, heh.
Oh, and I did 3 10 pulls to get Jeanne Alter and nothing. I don't even what to think about how many tickets I've used so far....
Only used 1 ticket on the current banner so far. Of course, no Cleo.

It's funny, out of all the gacha games I've played, I have by far the best luck in this game. I'm not sure where the pic is anymore, but I got a pull once that had 2 SSR, an SR, and 2 5* CE's. Twice I got the banner SSR servants off of a single ticket. The only servant I didn't get that I really wanted was Dantes, which I even whaled a bit for and still didn't get.
Been playing through this new event, but for some reason I'm not all that interested in it and when I got to the point in the story where it made me go all the way back, I was about to throw my iPad across the room. Ugh. I'm not sure I really want to do so much farming for stuff.

Yuuup. It's worth it to get Brave Liz at NP5 though. She's a really good free Saber. The challenge quests aren't that hard, I've been beating them all just using a waver and double berserker team for every fight. There are a LOT of them you gotta trudge through, though.
I'm not sure I want to do that. I'm already bored out of my mind and not really having much fun right now. Having to do this all over again with such a shitty story is maybe too much.

Congrats! CE drops are the real event goals.
Now that I finished the challenge quests, I'm stuck to this pyramid stage like glue. The drop rate for medals is really really good, and it's a way easier farm than the camelot stage. Plus it drops all 3 event currencies so I can farm everything all at once. These are my favorite kind of farming stages.
Also, with those challenge quests, a 10/X/10 Helena was an excellent substitution for Waver when he can't be used, shout out to any friends I have that have been sharing her.

Got a Cleopatra from my monthly 5 MP summon tickets! NP2!
Dunno if coincidence or wishful thinking, but the strategy I use is to pull on the FP until I get a 3* CE and then use tickets/10 pull. Then go back to FP summon and repeat. My luck seems to be better when doing this. Got to burn all the "bad luck" on the FP summon

We get hit pretty quick with Merlin/Hassan/Musashi. Not to mention Ishtar if you're into her. Christmas/New Years is gonna be hell on quartz hoards
Anyone know the top two best places to farm the gold cups? I'm trying to get 200 before the deadline, but the ones I've tried so far only give a few at a time. Luckily, I only need one more Dragon Orb before I'm finished. I don't think I'll end up with Saber Elizabeth's maxed NP, but I'm okay with that.

Man it sucks looking at all the cool shit that JP gets compared to us. They're getting another SR pick ticket as well as a bunch of other freebies. I'm completely tired of this event, and I did a really bad job at clearing the shop. I only bought 1 of each CE and a few materials past getting all of Liz's materials. I just didn't have it in me for this one. At least the challenge quests were quick and easy. I'd have tried a bit harder if I would have lucked into one of those Liz CE drops, but for some reason my Halloween luck always sucks for CEs, so I'm not gonna bust my ass to sit on a 3/4 limit broke CE for a year like I did with Halloween Princess.

A few new interludes popped up after the event, Nito, Altera, Gilgamesh are the big ones. Also, hunting quests for great drop rates on whatever the item of the day is, and decent ember farming. If you aren't too burnt out from Halloween, this is a great time to burn a few apples.
It's the Christmas event...again. Not sure I want to bother with it, though I did drop 30 SQ on the Jack banner because I REALLY want a 5* assassin and so far I haven't had any luck. Luckily, my 4* drought ended with me getting Marie x2 and Beowulf. I guess that's something, even though I don't have a 5* rider, but lots of 4* riders. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and get a good 5* unit that isn't a saber or lancer.

Damn, 3 4* servants from a single 10 pull is pretty nutso. Congrats! Yea a good ST assassin is really clutch considering all of the rider bosses we've had in the past, plus they're always good vs. the demon tentacle things in story mode. You have plenty of time to try again, though we're not terribly far off from Papa Bones, probably the next unit I want the most.
I don't even know what unit I want next. Which is why I just blew some SQ. The only unit I guess I would like to have is Artoria, but the issue there is I don't need another Saber. I have Artoria Alter (who is totally badass...better than some 5* units) and Mordred. It would be nice to have her, but not sure how I'd fit her in my roster at this point. I don't want lancer Artoria, either, because I have Scath and Karna with a couple other 4* lancers waiting if I need them. I feel like I have a good group of caster servants as well. No 5* archers, but honestly, I don't really care. Between Emiya, Atlante, and Nobu, I can get just about anything done. I don't have a 5* rider, either. However, Christmas Artoria and Bonnie pretty potent. My assassin crew is just lacking. I wish I would have gotten Cleo, but no luck there. I'll just keep trying to get a cool assassin servant and one day I'll get lucky. I'm glad I got Carmilla. She's pretty awesome.

Wise bet would be save for Merlin at this point. He'll be coming up around January I think, and he totally shifts how the game is played for a long time. I know you typically don't like the challenge quests, but he certainly makes a lot of them easier. Otherwise, there are a lot of fan favorites coming up like Musashi (but it sounds like you're set on Sabers), Ishtar, Old Hassan, Gorgon, and Ruler Shirou.
