The Division 2 |OT| Now a wall can stop Washington's fall

If I remember correctly, mine was located under the Grants section of the stash.
Mine weren't anywhere. Hoping quoted below is true and its now waiting for me.
Don't know what's the update all about but I see that the uplay rewards are working now, they are in your inventory if you redeem them,it was a problem with that before and they didn't appear even if it said you own them.

Either my gear just sucks or around lvl 20 there’s a difficulty spike. Not complaining, it’s probably just that I suck.

Been playing mostly solo but my matchmaking experiences have been positive

Wanna get to 30 so I can actually start a build. Wanna spec for skill power first, want my turret to melt motherfuckers

Hey - does the pre-order shotgun hold up? I'm trying to decide if I should pre-order before midnight or wait to see endgame feedback. Haven't seen much on that end game, but literally everything else I've seen is positive enough. I don't plan to be online come midnight tonight though, so the only real incentive to pre-order would be that shotgun. Is it something you still use after the first few levels?

Just had an update, don't know what the size was as it downloaded before I saw it but over an hour later I'm still looking at "copying...."
Wtf Sony fix this shit.
It wasn't like this when the PS4 launched.

I hate that I’m not gonna be helpful but honestly I never used it. I didn’t even look at the pre-order stuff until I was lvl 8 and had out leveled the shotgun, unless it can be “infused” like Destiny 2? I don’t know if that’s possible in this game. Sorry I can’t help you more, I’m still only lvl 21 so haven’t sniffed endgame yet either

I think you directly answered my question, and thank you for that. By level 8 it sounds irrelevant. So whether I pre-order or not shouldn't matter. Looking forward to end game thoughts, though I suspect I'll have the game before you get there.

I have a dumb question. When I complete a project it says “return to (settlement name) to collect reward,” but when I go back I don’t see the reward anywhere. Am I missing something?

You should just have to talk to the projects manager, It's usually automatic when you talk to him/her.

Yeah I'm level 20 too and the same is happening to me. It's like my gear and my guns became shitty suddenly. Lol

Edit: now to 3h server maintenance... :messenger_crying:

I see a tweet that said 20min downtime but people in game were telling me 2 hours? What’s the truth lol

The world feels better to me. I like exploring this map. There’s some crazy detail. I know we all loved snowy New York but I’m loving D.C.

I used the shotgun until level 6 or so. It was pretty fun to mess with (meleeing with it adds armor), and according to the crafting bench it's possible to upgrade it to 30 once you find a specific exotic item.
As for endgame, it's very interesting so far. World tiers aren't anything new to Division but advancing through them is handled differently. The main thing is that there are entirely new and more challenging enemies patrolling and in missions. And I don't mean just 'more elite enemies' like in D1 Challenging/Legendary missions, I'm talking Metal Gear escalation type shit. Trying to keep spoilers to a minimum so that's all I'll say about that.

That sounds decent, for a launch anyway. I also believe that most, if not all, of the things they added to D1 will make it into D2 sooner or later

Damn I thought the game would have improved from the beta but the game is glitchy as fuck, I have walls and buildings disappearing.
I saw this in the beta but I thought it would have been fixed in the final release.

Never seen any glitches of that sort, just weird glitches with skills going away before they're done. Judging from your previous post about the install taking forever, I'm going to hazard a guess that your hard drive may be dying.

Yes. Recruit grace Larson from the theatre. Is your PSN Verdanth? I’ll add you tomorrow. Level 12 only but making good progress.

Yes it is. Im already on your friends list, just saw you online playing.

This game has a VAR emote. Holy shit ahah.

Damn it! Got home from work, started up Uplay, got a message that the Division 2 has released, start downloading some 400'ish meg file, excited that I may get to play earlier than expected, then... "This game is not available yet." Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

As I explore into higher level areas I keep finding SHD caches that seem to have no way of accessing. I’ve wasted the last 25 minutes circling an entire block looking for any possible access to these areas, thinking it’s a puzzle or something.

Will these show up during missions later on or am I doing something wrong?

It better not be I've just replaced it lol.
I restarted the update and it was faster.
Don't know what that problem was as it installed other updates fast.
And the glitch wasn't just on my end, my team mates could see it too.

It's not missions! I think they are project criteria? Pretty sure you have access to them as soon as possible.

Interesting.....that would make sense. I feel dumber than usual now.

Just hit lvl22, purples and oranges are dropping left and right for me now. It’s awesome. Gonna take a little break then try to get to 25 tonight, 30 tomorrow

Game runs good, and I'm happy with the way it looks at 2688 x 1512p, AO and Geometry set to max, all other settings on high. Looks nice, runs nice. Gameplay is fun and engaging, I'm definitely enjoying the experience over the original, which I played a ton of across PS4 XBOX and PC.

Friendly reminder for any solo-centric players out there, you can join the clan and not have to interact with anyone if you don’t want to, just reap the clan bonuses and clan HQ while still staying solo.

Join up!

How do I join, I work a lot right now, so my progression is pretty slow, but it would be fun to join in from time to time

alright yall, I just caved and bought the game. Did I make a mistake?
Doubt it, if impressions thus far are any indication....though I am wondering the same thing, lol.

I caved as well, after not having much interest in it initially - I didn't play D1 other than the beta, and didn't even bother trying the D2 beta, but after some pleading from one of my few friends that still plays games (and is buying it), I said what the heck and ordered a physical copy in case I want to sell it. The streams/impressions make it seem like an impressive game with lots to do, and I admittedly have a looter shooter itch to scratch, so we'll see.

The last few hours I have encountered some bugs. I mean.m nothing terrible, a couple got me killed in a mission when it shouldn’t have but not a big deal.

The issues with some of the skills is annoying though. Not sure how that made it into retail.

21 hours played and I feel like I’m only scratching the surface.

Nah,shotguns suck ,at least of what I've played till lvl 12,I tried to use one and didn't help me at all, police m4 rifle and the machine guns are good

After last night's update, which I think was about 920MB on Xbox, I started having issues with my skills terminating within the first 10secs. Couple that with the fact that I had just hit Lvl 16 and the enemies are way amped up now and swarming like hornets. I had to stop playing so haphazardly and start think more tactically with correct transitions between cover and well-timed reloads.

Now I just hit Lvl 17 and it feels I've acclimated. Playing without skills sucks since the game is built around that. Even worse the AI tends to "watch" your skill usage and will storm you after it completes it's cycle. I noticed that with the flame turret. They stay away and the sec it's down they rush, so having it up for 5-10secs then glitching out makes it much harder to play against fully aggravated enemies.

I'm about 16hrs in, and like you said, just starting to learn to play the game correctly. The music and skirmishes on here are something else, though. Gets the adrenaline pumping. It's like the best Mass Effect 2&3 mission pushes, but all the time.

Loving it. Hearing that heavy guitar riff in my head all day. *Washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc* = ♫ ♫ Dun dun, dutut dun dun. Dun dun dutut dun dun ♫ ♫

I made a character, played a mission and then decided to start new because I didn't like the face. I could equip all the stuff from the club rewards except the gun and the gun skin. Is there a way to transfer that over?

First perk of firefly skill is just awesome, specially when you have a sniper. Love to blind NPC's and headshot them. Kind of feels like Splinter Cell's mark & Execute, but more dynamic.
