Some decent picks this month. Still a bit butthurt personally that they yanked PS3+Vita games and still haven't come up with a replacement.

The Surge is that Dark Souls knockoff with mech suits, right? And Conan looks pretty interesting from the trailer.

I tried The Surge when it was free by mistake some months ago (they never revoked the license BTW) and didn't like it.

And I haven't heard many good things about Conan.

I don't like the Aprils' games. Conan is multiplayer only, isn't it?
And The Surge just looks like a loveless pile of wannabe-'cool'-things.
I miss the games for Ps3 but more for the Vita. Still an awesome console I use daily.
It's just not satisfying getting two medicore games.

These post PS3/Vita PS Plus months have been pretty bleh so far. Not like they were that exceptional when they were included too, but at least I got some extra Vita games to play.

I don't think Sony has any plans for changing this either since they had over a year since announcing the drop of PS3/Vita games to add in some kind of value added change.

It has become very obvious that i don't belong to Sony's target group for PS+ so i'm not even going to complain anymore. I'll just let my subscription expire and never renew it again.

Despite owning and still playing my PS3 and Vita, I didn't honestly mind the removal of those hardwares from PlayStation Plus. I didn't even mind that it's now only two games a moth, instead of six.

What I do mind is when the game's being offered are bad games. If this kind of utter drek continues to be frequently offered over good, critically acclaimed titles, I will 100% being letting my Plus subscription expires.

haven't looked into the surge. Conan looks like my kind of game though. Have been wanting to try it out. Seems like a fantasy version of The Forest, which is really good.

I wanted to play conan for quite some time now and almost bit during the currently running sale. Glad I didn't. Now I need to google what the surge actually is.

Kind of a bad month to put the Surge out seeing as Sekiro just came out. But if any of you are interested in a Bloodborne clone, The Surge is a very capable one. They have a nice mechanic of targeting specific body parts.

I quite enjoyed my time with it. I think the Pro got an upgrade where they bumped the resolution and the fps. At least I know the XB1X version did so I'm guessing the Pro did as well.

No clue about Conan though. I think it's one of those survival games that I have absolutely no interest in. I would have rather them do a sequel to the Conan version of God of War they made some years back. That game was hilarious in that the fighting was decent, but the entire game was in the "So bad it's good" realm. "Take me and crush me with your love!!" Hah!

It was a cool idea but very poorly implemented. Most of the time it was a pain in the ass to target specific parts. At least in the demo i don't know if they patched it later.

The Surge is a great Souls-like. Was sceptical at first but I enjoyed it vey much in the end. I´d say it´s the best of the bunch. Some very cool weapons and armors in that. The expansion was good too. Looking forward to the sequel.

MWR makes up for this month

took me a while to get back into it, i thought it felt dated at first but once it clicked (again) i had great fun. the campaign is really a standout in FPS games, great balance of gameplay and story. the nightvision helicopter gunner mission is truly excellent, i was drawn in big time by that like it was my first time playing it.

COD today feels like a cheap intimation that takes sequel-itis to ridiculous levels.

oh and the graphics in MWR are top notch, there was a point running through a building in Pripyat, a simple thing, the light reflecting in a puddle in the old swimming pool that gob smacked me. top marks for going the extra mile.

Conan plays in the same vein as ark with regards to the base building and survival, with the added bonus of making slaves dance naked for you. It's not bad, there's a basic story and an actual goal.

Was tempted to buy the surge during a sale. Never did, phew glad I waited. And Conan sounds like i can finally playing in coop with my brother because that's what he was interested a few months back.

It’s like Ark: Survival Evolved in the way that everything is server based online. Pretty sure you can make private severs if you want to solo it or just play with your friends.

If you don’t like Ark or those types of games Conan probably isn’t going to be the game to change your mind.
