Making of - Alan Wake.

I think Control won't be a big hit. Maybe Alan Wake could come back.

It's a good game; I enjoyed the small strange town vibe.
But if there's ever a sequel the hoodie and blazer combo has got to go.

Alan Wake had such a rich, emotional universe, like Max Payne. It was the Twin Peaks game we never had.

While I loved Quantum Break and will no doubt enjoy Control, somehow they feel more sterile, the layer of human imperfection that was a theme of the protagonists in Max Payne and Alan Wake doesn’t seem as crucial.

Amazing game. Never have I been so entertained by collecting thermoses before. I remember running around to almost every single edge of the maps, just enjoying the world and all the tiny details.

One of the most memorable games of my life. It introduced me to the Twin Peaks style which I now crave all the time. In fact, it's one of my life goals to build or buy a house in a place with that small 80's style town atmosphere. Out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by old tall pine forest covered mountains. Still looking, saving and planning. And a whole lot of crossed fingers.

Really hoping we get a sequel. And that it's done right. So with the state of the industry and woke politics I've been hoping that sequel takes it's sweet time.

Thanks for posting the video!

Alan Wake really is a great game. I played it on Steam and loved the atmosphere and writing and the battles always made me anxious. It felt great whenever daylight came though and of course the OST was awesome, how they implemented them with certain cutscenes and gameplay moments, and the flashbacks were cool too. Definitely deserving of a sequel, if Remedy ever get around to developing one again.
