What are games that need Pro/X enhancements?

JohnnyFootball

GerAlt-Right. Ciriously.
Some of these games have Pro enhancements, but not X. I can;t think of a vice versa case.

I am leaving out BC titles since all of those IMO would benefit from being enhanced.

My main gripes:
1. Deus Ex Mankind Divided - game is enhanced on Pro, but not X. It looks hideous on X and really good on Pro
2. Metro Redux - It's a damn shame this didn't happen as it would have been the opportune time to do so with the release of Exodus.
3. Bloodborne - PS4 gamers are still bitter about this not getting enhanced and is always high on the list.
4. Dark Souls 3 - The pro patch was very mediocre
5. GTAV - easy choice.

Please refrain from making the "get it on PC" arguments as they aren't relevant and do nothing

Only if they get rid of the frame pacing. The art direction is so strong that only the wonky frame rate bothers me. Considering Sekiro and Dark Souls 3 have the same problem, I doubt FROM would ever fix it.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Watch Dogs 2 is another game that got a Pro patch but no X enhancements.
I would also like to see the older Resident Evil games get X enhancements: 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, Revelations 1 and 2.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Life is Strange 2 are both X enhanced, would love to see the first game get the same treatment.
Cuphead, Sunset Overdrive, Voodoo Vince, Ryse, Screamride, and Ori are surprising omissions from the X enhanced game list since they're Xbox console exclusive.
Wolfenstein The New Order and The Old Blood need updates, it's hard to go back to those after Wolfenstein II looks so nice.

I'm playing on PC and Sekiro has no frame rate pacing issues as far as I can tell.

Bloodborne on the other hand is horrifying and you can literally see the screen blinking in front of you.

Shadow Fall on Playstation 4 Pro. Boost mode helped a bit with the FPS but still far from 60FPS on unlocked mode. I guess a native Pro compatibility would squeeze performance.

XBOX 360 Crysis HD, Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 frame-limiter can be locked at 60FPS with a simple config editing (pak files are just zip files renamed so you can tweak amost everything in these games). I would like to see a patch to check how XBOX One X can really handle these games.

Sunset Overdrive and Ryse: Son of Rome. Both visually amazing games that would benefit from a higher resolution, HDR and enhanced graphics.

Exactly my thoughts when entering this thread.

Ryse was a graphical showcase and arguably the best-looking launch title of any current-gen system (despite being on the relatively weak Xbox One).

Sunset Overdrive is more of a cult classic and one of X1’s exclusive gems. And it would benefit greatly from HDR and a resolution boost (900P 30FPS IIRC).

Seems criminal that these games haven’t been upgraded.

GTA 5, battlefield 4 and Arkham Knight would be nice.

Also, MGS5 did not get an X patch.

The fact that Rockstar can't even be bothered to add Pro/X support to a game that still consistently charts well and generates a ton of revenue for them says a lot about what they think of their client base in my opinion.

For me none.

I just hope the performance is not degraded on base consoles to reach the "pro" standards.

I'm very happy with PS4 and I will jump straight to PS5... mid-gen upgrades are useless for me.

If they do nothing other than fix the frame pacing issue, it would have been worth it.

I think Digital Foundry said that From couldn't fix it with a patch and that it has to do with how the game is developed. They were pretty much saying that From would have to recreate the game with it fixed.

Still amazes me GTAV hasn't had one. Its still one of the most played games, and makes Rockstar stupid amounts of money, yet you're telling me they can't stick a couple of people on it for a little while? Come the fuck on... That game should be 4k 30 locked on BOTH machines for gods sake...

Sunset Overdrive deserves the X treatment. Castlevania: LoS And Watch Dogs 2 on X. MGS deserves a new collection with Pro enhancement

After the shit they pulled with RDR2 support, they are not in my good books. They better be careful because they are one bad game away from failure, people will turn on them!

Destiny (Easily my game of the generation, in 4K it would absolutely shine)
TitanFall (TF1 wasn't the best looking on day 1, a patch would help it improve)
Evolve (Already looks great, but 4K wouldn't hurt)
