Her character design looks awful, in the ps2 games you could tell she was a ninja, in this game she looks like a damn overwatch character or something out of a mobile or moba game

The roster always tends to be better with the DLC for a netherrealm game. So I am hoping for something good - as well as a return of classic costumes for all characters and the end to the hypocrisy of some of the more recent claims by the dev team.

At the rate we are going, I doubt we will ever see faithful versions of classic costumes. I heard the Q&A guy, “16bit” or something is a public supporter of Anita Sarkeesian, so that explains some of the drastic changes.

What is this I’n hearing about the game is technically online only? Like you can not access some modes and get rewards unless you are online?

Agree. i will still get the game but as a longtime fan of MK, this is the first time a Sub Zero or Scorpion design did nothing for me. Noob Saibot imo is amazing though and will probably my new main. Maybe im in a minority but im having an issue with all this costume exchange. Im down for adding something extra on top of your original design etc but once you can make Scorpion wear all white....character identity lost.

According to people with early copies, then Towers and Krypt require an online connection. So basically nothing can be unlocked if you're offline.

I preordered the Premium Edition. I wonder if Sub Zero will keep his MKX moveset.
Kotal Kahn was a brute in X. He had all those buffs making him fun to use. I was reading the comic series before MKX came out, which explained what was going on. I haven't been paying enough attention to see if MK11 had a run or not.

I don't know if this has been discussed, but I was thinking, if they end up adding a horror character as DLC, Pennywise would be my best guess. It Chapter 2 is releasing this year, and Warner Bros is the distributor so it shouldn't be too difficult to work out a licensing agreement. Releasing it in September along side the film would allow them to add some renewed interest in the game with a new DLC character as well as provide some marketing for the film's release. Plus I think there's a lot they could with Pennywise's move sets and fatalities.

Towers of Time is this games equivalent of online towers apparently, so that might be fine, but krypt and customization though is interesting...... Obviously ties into the MT's.
Edit 2: You need a constant internet connection to unlock stuff, including Frost.

Full story shows it's not main modes like tweet implied, but krypt and gear, and another mode. They're making sure no one cheats there dumb MT system I assume......
