Jason Vargas is so terrible. Mets should have been in on Gio. Brewers signed him for basically nothing.

I think I'll go to the game Friday too. 3 games in 4 days I have an addiction.

Giants won today. To my shock Bochy let Buster catch today so I got to see him sitting behind home! I feel blessed. Pablo crushed another dong and Posey smashed a double. 4-0 final score. Left the Dome with an even bigger grin than last night

I don't like siding with those people but this is his quote on Billy Bean.

Well, he's Christian. You can disagree with a lifestyle (yes, I understand that it's more than JUST a lifestyle), without hating someone for it. He clearly doesn't hate gay people because they're gay.

The only thing of relevance is “is he doing anything to harm in anyway that gay man”.

If the answer is yes, then fuck him. If the answer is no, ok move on to something important.

Thoughts and feelings are irrelevant. Actions matter.

Oh yeah I know all of that and agree. I think he's incredibly misguided but as musky said, he's not hurting anybody. Having opinions on a matter does not make someone a monster.

That being said though if people choose not to fuck with him over those statements, I don't hold that against them either.

Familia is such a schmuck. He's lucky he got bailed out.

If you told me that given the pitching would be this fucking terrible (deGrom and Syndergaard included), I'd have signed up for 15-14 in April. If deGrom/Syndergaard/Familia ever all get right (I think Wheeler is already on that road; the line wasn't great his last start, but it was really just one early blowup inning after which he looked great) this is a scary team.

Kyle Hendricks just threw a complete game shutout on only 81 pitches against the red birds. I can't remember the last time I saw a CGSO under 90 pitches. Hell I don't think pitch count was a thing the last time it happened.

ABSOLUTELY! I just want to take this opportunity to praise the team with the best record in all of baseball. Being able to say that of the Twins close to 1/5 of the way through even, is such a nice feelings.

This may be controversial, but I don't think the Mess' malaise is Mickey Callaway's fault.

He's not great, mind, but he's no worse than Terrible Terry Collins who, despite being awful and also incompetent, got to manage the Mess for six years.

It's just the Mess are too old, too injury prone, and saddled with too much baggage. I think they'll do okay this year, but are far from contenders.

I knew yesterday's Rox game would get postponed and I am shocked they are playing right now. Just had an inside-the-parker go for the Rox due to outfielder slipping. There are minor mixed snow flurries mixed in with slight showers going on all over town, all day.

Colorado weather is weird, man.

WOW Nolan just CRUSHED a ball that should have been his second homer of the day and it's called foul. Radio guys are pissed, people tweeting from the press box are shocked. Looked like a HR to me. Guess they didn't have a great camera angle for the review. Go figure

Can’t believe I survived Freak Week from Justin Turner on Deep’s team. I got lucky as hell today. Insanely close matchup, Deep. At different points today the score shifted from 4-5 in your favor to 8-2 my favor and everything in between. Each at bat was fluidly affecting the score all day, I was glued to my mlb.tv app following everything. Good stuff
