Code Vein will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 27, Bandai Namco announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:
About
In the face of certain death, we rise. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in Code Vein. Death may feel permanent but your loadout doesn’t have to. Change your character class at any time, unlock the ability to mix and match skills, or choose different NPCs to partner with, all of which could make the difference between life and death.
Key Features
  • Unite to Survive – Featuring a story driven connected dungeon experience, dive into the world of Code Vein. Create your own character and choose your partner as you venture out into a world of destruction, overrun by the Lost. Change the feel of the game depending on which partner you choose, each with their own combat style and background story.
  • Beneath the Veil – Experience the power of blood as you use unique Blood Veils to drain your enemies to enhance your abilities. Using “Gifts” powered by enemy blood, players can increase their strength, weaken enemies, and utilize new weapon abilities and overpowered attacks.
  • Great Challenge Brings Greater Rewards – Take on the Lost as you explore the malefic world of Code Vein. Choose from a myriad of weapons such as bayonets, axes and spears, to accommodate your favorite battle style. Apply strategy in your attacks through partnered coordination and Blood Veil enhancements, ready to bring down the most threatening enemies.

I haven't pre-ordered the game (yet), but it's most likely a Day1 buy for me. I enjoyed the network test as well, even if it wasn't perfect. Problem is all the other games coming before it. September is pretty stacked (Borderlands 3, Link's Awakening and August 30th Astral Chain).

Looks cool. I'd had preferred Switch, but I guess I can manage.

Damn, I'd really hoped the delay was to make a switch version.

This looks good, but I just don't have the time to play any more big games on home consoles right now.

Might get it, love the character design of this game but still have doubts for the other parts, perhaps will wait for sale.

This is a rare example of a game I pre-ordered without question just based on the initial reveal; the design and art direction really spoke to me (my reasoning, of course, is that I can always cancel it if things are looking bad). The beta was really great and the character creator is maybe the best of any game I've played.

This got my attention as soon as I saw it. I thought it looked & read like, dare I say it, an animie soulsborne game which would be right up my alley. Reviews aren't that important to me but I can't wait to see how this one does.

This is high praise. Does the character creator allow for each and every body part to be modified in size and doesn't just give a few preset options?
