Got GTA 5 out of the dustbin and startet to try and seriously mod new cars into the traffic. it is a goddamn hassle, but i get there... almost every car my family and friends drove over the years (I don't have one, and it's better that way XD), can be found online, it's delightful. Let's see how much the game can handle, before it breaks again...

Installed Slay the Spire from Game Pass for PC, thinking 'I see this one got good reviews, not my kind of game, let's check it out'.
Two weeks of obsessive play later I beat it with all 3 characters. Unlocked Ascensions but I've never been a New Game + kind of person so want to drop it, also it was addictive as fuck and I want to play something else. But highly recommend it.

GTA 5 , Siege and a bit of Destiny. I'm still unsure if I like the last one. It's really not grabbing me.
If you ever want to replay the game, get the mod "Things to do in San Andreas". It ads a lot of cut content, mainly side-missions but also cut lines of dialogue that are really interesting. Fair Warning though, there are a few rough missions in there. Mainly a The Truth one.
Trying not to spoil anything but have you gotten the three keys?
Still my favorite GTA by far. Such a good cast of characters. I've recently finished gta 4 for the first time and I think I'm close to finishing GTA V but none of them hold a candle to SA. It might be nostalgia, but I don't feel like it is. I also like how diverse the locations are compared to other games.

I'm playing through FE Awakening (for the 5th/6th time?). Though I have many other games at my disposal, Three Houses isn't one of them, and I guess I was feeling a bit Fire Emblem-ish. Dialogue, story and 3D-cutscene animations are still ridiculous, but man, I never can stop loving this game. It's just so easy to play and enjoy.

To celebrate EVO, I played some fighting games this past week.
UNIEL[st] - played through a few rounds with my son using Enkidu. I love how grabs don't have to be buffered after a dash, so running up and grabbing is a favorite troll of mine.
BB: Central Fiction - 100% Nine, all the time. I'm not sure if she's considered a good character or not (I'm a BB casual) but I love her style. Light/medium normals charge up her 'element', which can then be unleashed as a spell with Drive button. Really fun playstyle that reminds me of one of my favorite GG characters, Zappa.

Order of Ecclesia, replaying it after so many years. The satisfaction after destroying that crab reminds of how much fun this game truly is. DOOM 3, made it all the way to Alpha labs 3. I'm replaying Bloodborne, I started my 3rd character. Also playing Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. I got carried away giving everyone a bow/crossbow. Made it to chapter II.

I've picked it up and played it over the years. I never finished it. I've played more Final Fantasy Tactics than Tactics Ogre. I played March of the Black Queen years ago and got LUCT years ago on Vita. The last tactics RPG I finished was probably Jeanne d'Arc. I'm finding archers making it much easier. I'm confused on a couple things. I learned Fire and Water magic, but my wizard doesn't learn the actual spells. I might be missing something. Learning abilities are level based right?

Now that I finally have a switch, I'm playing super mario oddysey. Right now I'm in the desert kingdom. I like how you can buy and wear different clothing. Right now I look like a stereotypical mexican with a poncho and a sombrero equipped. There are also moons practically everywhere! I'm not even done with the required mission and I can bypass the desert now.
The controls on the switch work well in general, but I must admit it is a bit odd for me. The game seems to want me to play with the joycons like a wiimote for cappy slinging and sometimes the way I want to throw him doesn't quite happen.
I've also got dragon ball fighter z on download because it was on sale on the eshop. I might play thar concurrently with mario or afterwards.

So, TO can be a little complex when it comes to classes and how they operate. Using the wizard as an example, you need the right weapon (cudgel), the spell, skill (in this case, elemental) unlocked to cast a particular type of spell, and of course, if you're focusing on that type of attacking capacity, you'll likely want to invest in certain abilities, such as Spellcraft/Spellstrike, that enhance those things. So, you could (and likely would) have maybe two or three wizards focusing on different kinds of magic. I know I typically do. And yeah, skill and abilities will unlock at certain levels.

Indeed the game is very addictive. It's one of those "Just one more run" type of game. The fact that the skill ceilling is so high kind of adds to it, in my opinion.
Again, I'll not spoil anything but basically there's a bit more content in the game hidden behind these keys(It's not the relic. You'll probably figure it out once you see them)

My Pro died so I pulled out the old reliable slim 360 and jumped on Outrun. I miss Outrun. Can't even get it on the Sega Genesis Mini.

First time with English voices (so far I’ve only played it with German voices). Overall the English VA is of course much better than the old German one but I do have a soft spot for German Snake and Cambell.
Game itself is such a masterpiece. Even now. Back then... damn, I’m so glad I was there. The whole Mantis stuff and then breaking the 3rd barrier by pointing you to the back of the game case for the Codec number. You can’t come up with shit like this.
I think it was a mistake for Kojima to move over to more open games. Of course it was inevitable but I do think that he is best at doing those small games with great boss fights and then all these small gameplay sections filled with amazing ideas and insane levels of detail.
In general I can’t shake the feeling that internet and social media have done more harm than good to games (or art/entertainment in general). To me, game makers were much more creative when they didn’t know what people actually want and then just went wild with their ideas. Today I think that they are way to influenced, whether they want it or not.

P.S. Oh and,... the game is incredible and the best NR has done till this day, when it comes to story content at least, not to mention visuals - latest version of UE3 is still a king in the right hands.

Fired up Bloodborne and continued on with my Gunslinger build. Bloodtinge builds are the only ones worth building nowadays since I have grown tired of the arsenal due to playing the game too much, but I´ll never be bored with the BT stat. This build is also the most fun since I love parrying and viscerals, it is just so damn satisfying to land that perfect shot, hear that sound of the enemy being paralyzed and then obliterate them in a bloody disgusting fashion.
Reiterpallasch and Evelyn as my main weapons, and Reiterpallasch is doing some serious damage already, and I only have it at +7 with some mediocre gems attached. At +10 with some gems from Depth 5 chalices and this thing is gonna melt bosses. The gun is already dishing out around 200 so fully upgraded I expect 7-800, maybe a 1000 if buffed with paper. As my secondary weapon I use the gun rifle. It is good for long distance and closing the gap on the enemy, and I love the combo R1 into a R2 blast for that finishing move. But the damage from the shotgun is not all that great. Maybe it becomes better with time. I read it was nerfed from the flat arcane gem bullshit that gave it a ridiculous punch. I also have a Simon´s Bowblade if things get narly and I need to kill at greater distance, but this is a pure gun build so I want to use it as little as possible.
My Rune setup is following.
Blood Rapture - Viscerals restore HP. Currently 200 HP.
Clawmark - Increased damage from Viscerals 20%
Oedon´s Writhe - Viscerals grant QS bullets + 2
I´m gonna switch these up to their tier 3 obviously but even now, my Viscerals are doing ridiculous damage and I always replenish health and bullets. I am practically unkillable. The Chalices are a joke with this build (except the cursed ones, because they fuck you up no matter what set up or what build you are running) and as such, so much fun.
Love the feeling of going in guns blazing in this game. Wish there were a Western styled Souls-game.

You don't focus too much on dialogs and side activities you'll be fine.

The game that got closest to scratching that itch this year was AMID EVIL. I f that's what I need, I hope Ion Fury is good.

I've been playing a lot of The Divison. Had it for like four years but hadn't really spent more than 4-5 hours with it. It's really really fun and I'm kinda sad I'm so LTTP with it, but I still see people at the safehouses. I've also started playing the first Destiny again. Man, I forgot how much I loved Destiny! Need to finish all I can before they decide to turn off the servers! I'm only at like... story level 11 or so. I've got that collection that comes with all the expansions, so I guess this is gonna take me... four years? lol

Borderlands the Pre Sequel-Still chipping away at it with a buddy. Lost some progress some how as I was back at level 18 vs. the level 22 we were both at the last time. He was still at 22. We just repeated the missions that weren't done for me and that got me to around half a level behind him. I think we're both 26 at the end of last nights session. Trying to finish that up and that new BL2 DLC before BL3 hits next month

I had the Bowblade back when Old Hunters first launched and my damage for it sucked. Are you doing anything in particular to make your bowblade useful in the DLC?

Not really. I just upgrade it as usual and put a lot of good physical gems in it which bumps up both regular and blood damage. A 50/50 split between skill and BT is the most efficient if you wanna use both forms and have the best damage. I have managed to get the AR for the Bowblade up to over 600, which is pretty great considered how fast and versatile this weapon is. Easily one of the best weapons in the game, although it trivializes most of it, due to being able to skip Close combat.

Launch PS4 kept overheating on me a couple of years ago, I got rid of it and focused on the Xbox and Switch...last week I jumped on the $250 sale and picked up a slim and SpiderMan. So far, it’s really good! Since I’m digital only at this point, all of my previous PS4 purchases were there as well. I just filled the hard drive up and I’m looking forward to going through all my old games.
