It's funny how the denizens don't accept the context reason when it is someone else, but the staff there expects you to buy it when it comes to them. Even though from what I saw (I actually looked into this relatively recently since I missed it the first time around) there were dozens and dozens of screenshots with search terms and everything included.

And it happens there over and over and over and over. Often times I can just ignore it but lately it is just impossible to ignore. So much stupid shit. Person who helped break the E3 stuff a week or two ago? Can't link to that. Bernie Sanders on Joe Rogan? Can't talk about that.

Being there feels like I'm a teacher and people are constantly tattling to me what everyone is doing. At a certain point you just stop giving a fuck.

Now the turn the Ion Fury thread has taken is "why aren't news outlets picking this up" and "this is as bad as the 8chan AMA" and it's like whoa. It is a few people on a discord saying a few questionable things. You have no idea anything about these people beyond the provided screenshots. Let's slow down here a second.

And wasn't there just a huge shitstorm a week or two ago about harassing game devs? And yet here we go again...

I've seen a lot of shit on that website. I was there day one. It took a long time for me to see through a lot of the people there and what really is happening. I always felt like people were a little too quick to make something new and try to capitalize on people and the way they felt about GAF. It felt too easy that these people would just oh create a new place to go where the bad man can't hurt us anymore. It took the Etika situation and how that was handled to really open my eyes to how little people there give a shit about anyone but themselves.

I left Era after the first few months because I started seeing a lot of the old trends creeping in there. Everything spiraled out of control there over the last year or so and it's become a complete cesspit. I hope more decent people will eventually see the light and not want to particpate on a forum that organizes online harassment campaigns against game developers. We're all suposed to love games.

The moderation here is really good now and we'd be happy to have you back.

I honestly don't think I know of anything off the top of my head that those people actually like. Seriously. Has there ever been a thread about a single human being where they were all in agreement was great? Who is their poster child for "the human being to be." They seem to have an issue with every single person on the planet. They hate every popular video game youtuber, every game dev, every game, every presidential candidate(including democratic ones) every white person, every Jew, every Christian, every conservative, every Libertarian, every comedian, every political commentator.

They set impossible standards and I guaranfuckingtee you these people have more skeletons in their closet than the people they hate. When that weirdo freak trans person Jessica whatever started whining about ball waxing I knew IMMEDIATELY that they were gonna have something sick going on and then we found out they were trying to diddle kids online.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if these RE posters were acting righteous online, but in the real world were up to really sick and creepy shit. It's so often the case. The logic makes sense too, you can't be that angry and hate everyone without some major demons of your own. I don't even wanna know the kinda sick shit those folks get up to.

And it's just gonna keep escalating until they drive away every poster on that site who isn't of like mind and basically became 8chan's alter ego for the left. Just a weird congregation of far left extremists.

I didn’t even decide my kids religion, nevermind trying to dictate their gender or sexuality to them.

Because I’m non religious I waited until they were old enough and then exposed them to a few different religions and let them choose what they believe.

That shit seems crazy to me. Don’t dictate what your kids are because that’s what you want them to be. They are people, not pets.

I can’t imagine what would happen to some of them if thier kids came home with an American flag claiming the US is the best.

They’d go full vape shop guy reeee on them.

But since they made the statements not a word is spoken of it anymore. I wouldnt be surprised if you’ll get banned from bringing it up.
I once stood up for that guy Etika. I’m not big on internet personalities and frankly never heared of etika before.
But when I read those tweets it was obvious the kid had mental issues.
Everybody responded that he was trash, bullshiting and a shame for those with the real mental issues (like on era most likely).

I think this is the third consecutive month Era have really shown everybody what a toxic community they are

The only data we have in this forum that could be considered to fall under those guidelines would be data in your forum profile. All of that data is available for you to edit (including total deletion) at any time. We do not keep records of it.

Threads in the forums, however, do not qualify as personal data. If you have posted any personal data in the forums, then a moderator will quite happily remove that specific information on request. Heck, they do that already, frequently removing signatures, which we actively do not allow those to be used in the forums in the first place.

However, the thread itself, the questions posted by users and the answers that other users provide them, does not fall under the category of “personal data”. The only remaining personal data that is left is the username........

We gotta grow with out them, this is gaf they chose to leave and made their own bed now they have to sleep in it. A thread like that shows up every 72 hours there I'm starting to think its not even a gaming forum. It's like some agenda driven space. They will ultimately destroy themselves. The best we can do is continue and grow.
