From this interview:

"What about modding support? How will it work?
Mod support is the last thing we are doing right now, the last thing we want to release for Kingdom Come Deliverance. Right now, we are working on modding tools so that people can do their own stuff – Steam Workshop is already working, but only with the tools you can write your own quest, for example. We are thinking of a way out to cleverly release that. Unfortunately, consoles are out because they're not supporting this – it's not because we don't want to, but because Microsoft and Sony haven’t agreed on anything yet, so I can tell you: PC – yes, and we’ll see about the rest, I’m not sure.

Ok, so if it’s the last think you’re releasing for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, I can probably scratch the Horse armor and battle royale DLC questions…
Well actually, if the modding tool is as cool as we hope it would be, then please do these kind of things, we are more than happy to support this."

thats one of those serious games out there that one day i will come back to it and play again with all DLC's . but not today and not this month maybe , because this game cant be played for 30min or 3 hrs , it must take way longer . it just something else there. amazing stuff too.

I cry about SonyGaf from my chair in Redmond, WA
Imagine supporting an alt-right developer with a different perspective on history and society.

Jokes aside, I really hope they remaster this game for the PS5. Too ambitious and grand for current consoles.

Wait, isn't it the lefties that's angry over that the devs didn't want to force multiculturalism into a game that wanted to be realistic in that time and age?

Also, seriously, if you want mods then go pc. I know some games has it, but consoles is a walled garden which makes it questionable

I hope this can sprout interests for modders on the scale of W3 at least, and tons of bugs fixing.

I can honestly say that KCD is my all time favourite game. Honestly I've had so much fun with it, it's worth every penny I spent on it and I'm so glad I found out about it despite the efforts of the gaming press (thanks gaf).

Can I mod Afro-american transvestites into the game so I can pretend history aligns with my misaligned views?

You could but I'm afraid I'd have to cut your balls off. Please understand that I don't want to do that, but it will be necessary for me to do that. Think of your balls.

Nice, and it's on sale on Steam right now.

That one has been on my radar for a while though I still don't know if I would like it. I love the idea of a medieval RPG without all the Fantasy stuff but I'm not into games that go for realism and I'm not sure how much this one focuses on that

Excellent news. Hopefully by the time I've finished RDR2 and The Outer Worlds, a decent balancing patch will be out...

None of its realism feels like an obstacle to me. Its lack of fantastical fluff is rather a surprisingly refreshing aspect of the game since the content is so well crafted that it doesn't need it.

Good! It was for me aswell for the first 5 hours of gameplay. After that I found out how poorly written code there is - so many bugs which obviously showed the incompetence of technical department.
But it is still one of the best games I played.

I still have the game in my Steam Library and haven't played it yet.

Weird - can't say I encountered any bugs tbh - about the only technical complaint I'd make is that my laptop ran a little hot playing it vs other games of a similar graphical level. I'd have tolerated some bugs too as it's insanely ambitious in what it sets out to do.

Good for you, but maybe you were just lucky.
Some bugs actually spoiled main quest for me, and for love of your aunt don't use ansel in that game. Trust me. You will thank me later.

Is it still buggy? Bought it a while ago but decided to hold off until most issues were addressed.

I think Kingdom Come has some very good tech, nice foliage, lighting and materials.....Characters need work......I think these guys are very tech savvy and prop them over CDPR in that regard.....With a good CPU and some more experience, I think these guys can really hit it out the park next gen.....

I read a history buff's review of the game and he pointed out that most things in the game aren't even realistic as the game claims to be. Kind of soured it for me.

Care to tell some? Of course will watch the video later.

Edit: I'm sorry is it a written review? I can't find it so I'll appreciate a link.

They had a team of historians working on the game. I’d say they got as close as it’s possible while still being fun.

They weren't ever purporting to be a 100% accurate medieval life simulator, they were just aiming to deliver a gritty RPG set during that period and try and be as accurate as they could be based on the historical record at the time. As with anything historical sources differ and a lot of things are subject to interpretation, but it's probably fair to say that Rural Bohemia in 1403 wasn't the multi-cultural woke idyll that the likes of Polygon & Waypoint demanded.

I have multiple times. I at least want magic in this game. The dragons are not necessary though.
Maybe someone will mod magic in but really the game is wonderful without it. The grim reality of peasant life in the mud makes the moments of lightness (and it has them - it's often riotously funny) mean so much more, magical fantasy stuff would cheapen that I think.
