If I remember correctly, Elliot stopped the bombing of the E-corp building, but the twist was that the Dark Army target a bunch of other buildings which were blown up. Also something about China acquiring part of the Congo and time travel.

opening episode. Perfect Fall TV show too. Something about its dark nature bodes well for cold weather.

-This whole payback kicked off with the death of his wife. (Angelas mother)
-The mothers day tape was made by him and his daughter Angela.
-His personas are all between 20-30 years apart, the kid, Elliot, Mr Robot, Phillip.
-Phillip is actually him and his personas are younger versions of himself. Mr Robot is actually him and not his father.
-I don’t recall him being in many scenes with Elliot previously, this episode he was with both Elliot and Mr Robot.

I saw it, a lot of exposition in the episode and more of a setup, but still had plenty of good content.
I honestly don't know who the 3rd persona could be but I hope it's someone we've met before, introducing a new random character right now would be lame.

I dont think the third person will be anyone we know.
They have pushed parallel universes in this show heavily so I feel like it will just be an elliot from an alternate universe.
I also feel white rose isnt actually a cross dresser but we are seeing 2 seperate timelines.
Edit: actually it seems more like mr robot isnt just a figment of elliots imagination and is actually his dad from another universe hacking Into elliots mind.

Remember how Game of Thrones was utter bollocks and delivered no answers on anything?
Well, this is the opposite. Ep 3 was a bit slower than the previous 2 but still contained more cognitive story than the entire last season of GoT.

The new seasons of the Xfiles were particularly cringe for this, there are several that make digs at Trump, I'm not sure they ever once talked about the current politics of the day when it was on air in the 90's. One of the critic's darlings Darren Morgan wrote an episode for the last season which has aliens telling our heroes at the end that we are banned from entering the larger universe, that "they're sure some of us are good people but we're not sending our best", like so ridiculously ham fisted and cringeworthy.

Tonight was a really interesting episode. Not a ton happened, but I was engrossed every minute. And even though not a ton happened, something about that episode still felt like it was going to have some kind of significance toward the end of the plot. Some foreshadowing and such.

Probably true Eliot who is still buried somewhere deep because of something he did mentioned by Mr. Robot. Maybe he killed his father and he didn't die of cancer etc.

Nah actual Eliot. I believe the Eliot we have seen since season 1 was just another persona helping him to cope with some terrible thing he has done.

I'm pretty sure the third is traumatized elliot. A few episodes back it showed young elliot, his mom and mr robot in that conference room and the way mr robot spoke it sounded like timeline wise it was shortly after the hack and he was holding off on elliot finding out about the truth saying hes not ready and stuff.

Really enjoying this season. The ending of the episode makes me question a few things for sure. Looking forward to the conclusion! Very good acting this season as well...

I think it's
an digital world White Rose created to make "the perfect world" in her image. And that Elliot at the very end was an avatar of him representing his malware there to destroy White Rose's world. I think Elliot in real life is dead in the meltdown and the final episode will be his code living on to destroy the last thing White Rose had left.

I have to admit I'm really enjoying this season quite a bit. That therapy session episode was so fucking good. Rami nailed it in a way I've never seen him do before. I could nitpick some things in general if I wanted to, but fuck that.
This last episode was pretty crazy. The fact that there are 2 Elliot's here and it wasn't just a consciousness transfer makes things very interesting.

I know I'm in the minority here, but holy shit that entire season was disappointing. I don't know if I've ever seen a show go so far up its own ass. The self indulgence was too much for me. It was 7 episodes worth of good stuff stretched into 13 with an unfulfilling ending.
