2 leaked Joker clips - major spoiler + gore

In the Tim Burton batman film, Nicholsons Joker literally tried to kill thousands with a chemical gas attack by luring them in with their own greed. He's always been pure, complicated evil raging at the decadence of society.

This is THE joker getting his bearings, and from what little I've seen its brilliant. I'm going to enjoy this, the acting is nuts.

He also fried a guy alive with his hand buzzer thing, and then laughed saying, "I'm glad your dead."

Absolutely amazing. You can see and feel the torment of being mentally ill in Phoenixs performance. It looks like they are going to nail the moment in his life where the good in him, the moral part, finally loses the battle in his mind to the evil.

Mental illness is an internal battle which is hard to convey in actions but man, they’ve done it.

These clips are fantastic. This is how I imagine a real joker. It would be really cool if this would result in a new Batman Universe. I wonder how they would handle this.

Well, that was terrifying. Not just what The Joker does, but the way in which its portrayed. Do we consider this humanizing The Joker, or dehumanizing him?

Either way, what a disturbing take. Regardless if the film is R rated, expect to see some big outrage when this film hits theaters.

Edit: Oh, I get the joke now. "You get what you ****ing deserve!" Haha. Classic.

This has always been a big point of the Joker, especially in the comics. The Laughing Joke, which gave him an origin of being a failed comedian whose pregnant wife got killed by mobsters he was working for, before falling into a vat of chemicals, proposes the thought that we are all one bad day from being what he is. It's a damn good read and shows the entire idea of the Joker in a single 40 some-odd page book. Joker isn't really meant to be humanized, but it happens because he represents that part of us that wants to go crazy, that wants to scream fuck society and destroy it all. He's an itch that we know we are not allowed to scratch, but people want to scratch it, so they tend to do it vicariously through the Joker.

Feels more like the Shining if Jonny became a Clown than an Origins movie.

Maybe that is what they are going for but it doesn't feel like Batman/Joker.

It's more reflective of Joker in the books than the movies. The movies thus far never go all the way in his madness. Dark Knight got close but still had it's limits. This removes those limits and go full book joker.

HAHAHA He said the wORD!
Reddit's going to freak out ! XDdXdXddD
BOTTTOM TEXT GUIS XXXXXXD

the colorado shooter had a psychotic break, he's doing a lot better now that he's drugged

i hope he'll be rehabilitated so we can learn what went wrong

another thing about the de niro clip

at the end when joker walks up and grabs the camera to send audiences a message it reminded me of the heath ledger's joker "im a man of my word" footage where he, too, is sending audiences a message

Joaquin: "Tonight, always remember.." [gets cut off]

Heath: "..people will die, starting tonight."

i think it was intentional

Oh. Just watched the third clip in the op. Dude is unhinged.
"come on, murr-rayy"

the way he's trying so hard to add humor into the situation when nobody finds it funny is great

"you decide, what's right, or wrong, the same way, that you decide, WHAT'S FUNNAY, *points to de niro* or NOT"

this humor will make a grandma cringe

The plot armour is a bit silly with how he confesses to murder in the third clip and no cops show up to arrest him or anything.

The movie won best movie at Venice, serious Oscar contender now I guess. But it's interesting how the left in freaking out and bashing the movie. I remember when it was the right the ones that supported shallow propaganda crap like Pearl harbor and the left was the one with good taste in in depth character development and daring subjects. Now it seems the opposite is true and the left are now full behind safe and shallow propaganda crap like Captain Marvel while the right is getting behind more in depth movies and transgressing stories like with this movie. How times have changed.

Why do films even have to divulge in to left and right political bullshit?
It's so exhausting.

This movie has a female lead now. CRAP!
They gave this movie a diverse cast. CRAP!
This movie makes fun of people who love trump. CRAP!
This movie makes fun of people who hate trump. I'LL GO SEE IT!!!
This actor is left leaning and defends women. CRAP!
This movie has a predominantly Asian cast. I'LL GO SEE IT, THANKS DIVERSITY!!!

Why can't we just judge a movie based on it's own merits.
And both the left and right can be just as bad as each other, the left don't want to support right leaning films and the right don't want to support "SJW pandering" bullshit. Both sides don't realise how bad they are.
Why can't a movie just be bad or good like pre 2013.

Okay, who is the idiot who fucking thinks it’s a great idea to upload the videos to YouTube and Twitter? I can’t watch the shit because it’s all taken down already. The GoogleDrive is either down or slammed so hard they locked it. Can someone upload the shit to bitchute or something? I saw one clip from 4chan about him killing three people. That was it.

Tell that to the critics of Knives Out. Look at their comments about why they love the movie. They love how it is a middle finger to white people of privelege. I see quotes from critics saying the movie is brave for "not even being subtle in it's attack on the MAGA crowd".

Here's something interesting.

Joaquin Phoenix thought the Joker should have been fat.

Phoenix reveals to The New York Times that he and Phoenix also had “fruitful disagreements” over the physical transformation that would be required to play Arthur Fleck/Joker. Both men agreed Phoenix should undergo a “drastic weight change,” but Phoenix wanted to put on the pounds and not lose them. After slimming down for roles in the past, Phoenix told Phillips he did not want to do it again.
“It’s a horrible way to live,” Phoenix said. “I think [Arthur] should be kind of heavy. Todd was like, ‘I think you should do the real thin person.’”

Phoenix lost the battle and gave in to Phillips’ vision, losing 52 pounds to the play Arthur.

Would have been something.
