Sekiro. But if you’re not a fan of From Software rage inducing difficulty curve go for Days Gone.

Yeah that’s exactly what’s going on over here on my end.
Days Gone is pretty great so far.
I don’t know what the consensus is; if Days Gone gets better or worse as it progresses? But I really dig it so far

Sekiro then Days gone.

Control is a good game but it doesn't hit the highs of the other two games listed, not even close IMO.

Sekiro. Hands down the best of the 3 games IMO.

One fairly important reason is the challenge keeps you coming back. You just don't get that in the other games. I mean you don't have to have brutal difficulty to enjoy a game, but I've admittedly become addicted to the dopamine rush I get when finally beating a boss after 20-30 tries.

If you don't subscribe to that sort of masochist mentality, then I guess go Control if can stomach a female character who looks like a direct descendant of Powdered Toast Man.

Alternatively, go with Dayz Gone if you prefer games that let you auto aim melee attacks, but look pretty and give a decent story. My main draw for Dayz Gone was the huge horde encounters...but I heard they are few and far between in the game so it kinda turned me off. Also, I couldn't give flying nunchuk fuck about upgrading a motorcycle as a gameplay mechanic.

Most important is you are enjoying the game
Asking whether it gets better or worse can be counterproductive, it might not live up to the hype or conversely you'll go in with a negative mindset because of what you were told.
Just enjoy the ride, form your own opinion and tell us later how was it :p.

I dig the first quarter of the game the best, but its all real good.... I'm probably in the minority on that... most people in the OT seem to like it better after the first area.

I would say the game changes after the first 8-10 hours, more like RDR.

I’m about that far in now, and I have to admit that I think I prefer Days Gone to Sekiro

When I have to choose between putting Sekiro or Days Gone in the PS4 Pro, I tend to reach for Days Gone. And to me that’s ironic because it has remnants of Horizon Zero Dawn which, yeah, I liked, but, I kinda just wanted that to end, so I rushed (and I sold that game as soon as I was it done).
I have no desire to rush through Days Gone. I love it

Days Gone has awful controls, awful mission design, the worst bike controls I've ever experienced and a boring story.

so buy anything but that 😁

Control is unplayable on base consoles, so only get that on a good PC, Xbox One X or PS4 pro

Well, I have only played Sekiro and Control (I don't plan to play Days Gone, sorry) and I would recommend Sekiro. But I am biased as I like Tenchu. And I see Sekiro in the same spirit but with a From Software spin on things.

Sekiro for the nice Waifu mods and some cool monster designs. Most decent game of them 3.
What's with the nudity mod...I mean isn't the doctor the only woman who any sane (hetero) man would want to see nude in the game? I mean you got the Rice Hags...and Grandma 10 needles or whatever her name is. What else does the mod do?

The bike controls are fine and starts off not great on purpose as you need to upgrade, story was good not great and controls were also good, not sure what you played but not the same game I played.

Every single person i hear bag this game literally did not give it any chance. its one of those games where like a movie, it starts slow and ramps up to be awesome.

So the OP, three weeks ago, setup a poll asking everyone which game he should play next, and he went with the game that was the least favoured.

Huh?

Sekiro. It's frustrating for sure. But nothing feels more rewarding in gaming then getting your arse kicked by Genichiro 200 times, only for it to finally click and you murder the bastard without getting hit once.

No
I got them in order

If you see all my post replies you’ll see when I got each

I picked up Sekiro first, Days Gone second and just got Control yesterday

I wAs just about to type the saMe thing

-and I’ll add that the bike is fine in the beginning. You don’t yet know how slow and susceptible to damage it is until AFTER you’ve upgraded it a bunch -

I plopped the game in and thought the bike was great. Then, as time went on and I upgraded the fuck out of it, I realized “Wow! The bike is getting badass!”

it’s only in hindsight that you remember “Oh yeah the bike used to not be able to do this”
