They've got my attention. I like the setting and the idea of having organized street racing during the day and the illegal aspect of it during night time.

But tomorrow, it's make or break time. The gameplay reveal better be good. The amount of fucks I give about this franchise is running on fumes at this point.

I think they need to give the series a rest for a few years and then a reboot.

Hasn't it already been a few years since the last release? Am I going crazy?
No need for a reboot with NFS anyway, most entries differ from each other apart from a few exceptions.

Been a fan since the first damn game and Rivals, 2015 and Payback are pretty good in my book. I don’t get this Criterion circle jerk.
Also, it’s hard to complain about music in these games when Spotify is a thing.

The card issue in Payback is way overblown. I’ll get Heat full price, can’t wait.

You know, I watched some of those vids that were posted.......I see cars smacking into each other, smashing through barriers and knocking stuff over, but I didn't see even a single scratch on any of the cars. Now, I know that are certain conditions in place for the use of licensed cars in a video game, but after playing Wreckfest, I can't tolerate not seeing damage on the cars after they bash into stuff. I mean, street punks crash their cars too. The cars aren't made out of vibranium. They need to have damage on them. Maybe even add a mechanic to the game that makes it cost money to fix the cars back up, or junk them if they took too much damage.

Holy shit, don't give them more microtransaction ideas.

I must say Hot Pursuit on PCSX2 looks so good to this day, will need to fire that up soon....All of a sudden I have an urge to boot some of my older games in 4K......
it even looks better than the PC version, but thats maybe just me.

I don't like how this game looks. During the day its super bland and barebones, during the night a bit better but..... FH4 hands down looks way better overal. Other than that, it looks like Heat will be the best NFS game after HP2010.

Why does the game play look sooooo boring and the car engine sound so crap.
Also, what is with the shitty camera when you land from a jump, it drops low to the ground behind the car and you can't see what is ahead.

I have not bought a full price game at launch in 2019. I think this may break the streak.

You know what system needs a NFS game? The switch, and the one that isn't getting it because EA hates the switch. Why, because it's not an online multiplayer focused "Gaming as a stupid service" based console. EA wants to milk everyone, just like Activison, Microsoft and current day Bethesda. MICROTRansactions suck

I miss Need for speed most wanted by Criterion, that game rocked on the Vita. The collecting cars on the side of the road thing and the gas stations, mixed with the very fun multiplayer and burnout style collisions ( as it was made by the burnout devs.) now they aren't even doing car games. Would love a new burnout or most wanted.

I would also love a test drive unlimited like the first game.

Oh and no microtransactions please, and no always online bullshit like nfs2015 or all nighttime, sorry I want full day/night cycle.

Payback would of been fine if it didn't have that microtransaction Bullcrap.

I've actually preorder it, I never got the last one but hey this looks to be the right direction.
I mean Need for Speed 2015 was the right direction but the city was meh so the tracks was meh.
This has a mixture of day and night
A hint of Shift in there too.
I have to see gameplay, I guess I'm hopeful
If there no drag racing then I'm out.
I hope you are right, I just want no mtx, day night cycle and no always online bullshit. Seems people are giving games a pass about that anymore, but I haven't forgot. I don't like when the internet goes out and I can't play.

Also where is the switch version? EA really hates Nintendo after wii u, don't they? they make no sense, as they could be making bank with nfs and gen 7 games like mass effect, dead space on switch.
