I'm going to start taking CBD oil today for the first time

I'm hoping it'll help me with some health stuff I've been dealing with that are inflammatory in nature, and also help with general anxiety. Rogan's podcast really sold me on it, as well as research I started on it after. I'm still not 100% sold a lot of the benefits aren't placebo, but it is used to treat epilepsy, so it has to do something. Only one way to find out, I'm gonna give it a try. Taking it orally via tincture btw.

Anyone else here use it orally and what has it done for you?

Sure won't do any harm. I tried abusing CBD, but all I got was sleepy. Also I'm an introvert and I felt it made me want to talk to people (with normal dosis).

If you live in a legal state, you could try vaporizing hemp buds (usually has less than 0.5% THC), or actual CBD weed (usually has less than 5% of THC) in a dry herb vaporizer. Not much of a "high" but a very clear headed buzz, similar to a sleepy-time tea. If you're not a fan of the smell/taste, or smoking in general, then you can always go for full-spectrum CBD juice, which has more compounds and works better than an isolate.

A tongue dropper tincture is great for treating issues, but it's not as fast-acting as smoking/vaporizing, which gives you an instant effect. But the tincture is nice because you know exactly how much you're ingesting, and you can redose every few hours. Smoking/vaping is more-so habit forming, because the absorbtion rate of the CBD is quicker, but to each their own, I prefer it.

Make sure you get it from an actual dispensary if possible and not some gas station...
I ordered it from a place recommended by some popular health sites that list the best places to get CBD oil from. I got the THC free one, I don’t want any psychoactive effects even though the THC zones only have trace amounts.

So I would be an expert in this field for various reasons but I'll speak more to my wife who purchased some cbd spray for sciatica pain.

Per her who's never had any interaction with THC/CBD - she thought it was absolutely amazing, 4-5 sprays directly on the area relieved pain significantly.

A lot of people here mentioned it makes them sleepy. Would you recommend it before bed then? Or during the day? I don’t wanna abuse it, I’m gonna start off with smaller doses first and up it if I have to.

Yeah, I sleep real well on this stuff. As for other effects it seems to alleviate stress and anxiety quite a bit.

CBD (full spectrum) did nothing for me, even at high doses just made me a little sleepy. Mary Jane's sweet THC is the only thing that works for me personally, but I have a hard time justifying the price nowadays.

I smoke CBD (and occasionally get edibles of it) for my panic attacks and it works wonder, but it's because of the strain of hemp I'm using. Grandaddy Purple is wonderful if you're looking for something to mellow your anxiety out.

When my wife uses her spray she does sometimes sleep shortly thereafter. I would recommend starting with usage in the evening when you're getting ready for that cycle anyways, you might fight it beneficial to start the process.

Does it help with a prolapsed rectum?
Asking for a friend.

I’ve tried it a bunch, and it definitely lowers my anxiety a bit and relaxes me, but for the price and how subtle the effect is I’d rather just buy normal weed.

My mom has fibromyalgia and CBD oil has done wonders for her. I was skeptical at first but after seeing how it helps my mother I can't deny that it works.

Glad to hear that but your comment, I can’t help but listen to it in my head by someone doing a infomercial at 3AM.

CBD's okay. It provides more of a suggestion than an actual, noticeable change in mindset/mood, ime, and that's exactly what many are looking for. It's like thc's dream, lost upon waking. It apparently has many physical benefits in addition, which is cool.

I'm a big fan of phenibut, esp the f variety when available, and kratom. Great for anxiety and a host of other troubles. They both must be strictly moderated as there are great dragons there, but damn are they efficacious.

Nothing to report yet I actually delayed it a couple days because I emailed my doctor some questions first about taking it in conjunction with some other medications I'm currently on. I'm 95% sure it's ok to do, but wanted to be safe.

I thought about trying the CBD gummies or editables to help with anxiety, not sure how effective it will be.

Interested to see how you do. I have inflammation issues and an anxiety disorder and I tried the oil and I tried vaping CBD juices for a while. I didn't see any results personally.

Hey OP, I have some oil that I drained from a rattler that I'd like to sell you. Just as natural as that plant extract you're chugging.

Edit: I actually think that CBD could be beneficial. But I live in Colorado and there is CBD infused everything and now I'm annoyed.

I've taken it twice and have noticed absolutely zero effects, but I didn't do a full dose, so I'll try more next time.

My Aunts give it to my Grandma, but I don’t notice any changes. I think it would benefit me more, because I suffer from bad anxiety, but I’m already on medication for it. I probably don’t need it, but anything helps.

I tried CBD oil by itself, but it made me feel weird and didn't help my anxiety or back pain much. I need to have a significant amount of THC.

You don't need a significant amount of THC unless you want to actually feel high, the 50:50 solutions aren't bad though.

My cousin bought me some CBD gummies on my Bday. Felt sooo relaxed and slept like never before. Gave some to my pops and mother who have trouble sleeping and dam were they happy AF in the morning.
