Your attacks have up to an 8% chance to spawn a hydra when you hit.
This is the kinda of shit i like, imagine be a sorcerer and having two rings like that then building an ias fireball build, imagine a whole room filled with hydras.

It probably won't happen, i can dream

It looks cool.

Now, Microsoft, if you're listening, BUY CRATE (Grim Dawn) and throw money at them.

A secret part of me hopes that the delay in Grim Dawn coming to Xbox is because of an imminent announcement at X019 that they bought Crate.

Grim Dawn 2 would kick D4's ass with money behind it. But D4 does look cool I'll give it that, for now.

Artstyle looks weird. Characters still have the cartoony proportions from D3, just look at the druid. The artwork is still pretty much like D3 in visual design, like that scaled Diablo horn design element, only made in a baroque(iirc) painting style. Enemies still seem to look overly bloated and bulging as opposed to natural/lean and the ones that don't once again have stickfigureitis. The UI and the game in motion still looks incredibly similar to D3, only they seemed to have reigned in the stupid shit like laser beams and two bells falling from the sky as you are punching.

The end result pretty much just looks like 'realistic' UE4 Diablo 3. I'm disappointed, I expected a course correction, this is a compromise between D3 and a good artstyle.

Now I'm worried the writing will be exactly as shit, only presented in a brooding and dark way.

It is literally Diablo 3 filtered through the Genesis's colour palette.

Excuse me.

It is literally Diablo 3 filtered through the Genesis's colour palette coupled with all sorts of promised "cool gameplay system mechanics" much like the original Diablo 3 announcement demo before it was subsequently butchered and pared down in the steaming pile of tripe that became launch Vanilla D3.

Blizzard keeps its promises about games like it loves freedom for Hong Kong.

D3 allowed builds like that.

I like the in-game cutscenes. Not having any hopes of them surviving to release :messenger_tears_of_joy: This seems to be very early. Feels like a repeat of Diablo 3's excruciating wait.

damn seasons are back and they modify what items will be more powerfull to change the end game meta
i also love the fact the rifts will also have negative modifiers.

hmm it seems they will focus a lot more on using whatever skill you want in the same group.
boosted and made possible by legendary items.

so not forced builds like in 3 and more like 2
aww dev went away >.<

not a big fan of seasonal changes, i'd prefer a more consistent ladder

hoping hardcore is still available, we'll see

Regardless of the release date being far out, I'm very eager to get my hands on this. The art style and toned down crazy colors is a huge plus for me.

Not exactly sure what you are saying but the game has surpassed of what I expected and looks absolutely like a masterpiece. This has now become my most anticipated title period.
Yup same, game seems amazing. And is def top of my list.

Rather than announce Diablo mobile .... which still isn't ready either, they should have just announced Diablo 4 and say they can't show it for another year. Then show some art work and designs. That would have been enough. Ah well.

After last year they just can't.
Demo build seems pretty big for a really early alpha.
And the gfx def look up to par.
Heck saw some screenshots. That might say 21:9 ratio seems native supported.

I was kind of hoping they would take a risk and go for a modern 3rd person perspective rather than keeping the ISO view but honestly I knew it wouldn't happen.

This does look far more appealing to me than D3 did. I played D1 and D2 a lot but never really found D3 appealing. Maybe this time. I must admit it does look pretty cool.

Looks pretty much like 3, which I pretty much don't like.

Gonna wait and see. For now I'm not much interested.
