Played about 5 hrs so far. Story better directed and more interesting in the first hrs than all of TPP as well as more interesting characters. Pacing still a little slow and tutorially. xD Not gonna lie getting a littel tired of walking, but definitely gonna continue and see what else is in store for me.

Picking it up next week. And from what I hear if you have a Pro you can play it in 1080p mode that pretty much the entire game is 30fps with no hitching. I probably play this way. They say the game has strong AA so it doesn't matter playing at 1080p honestly.

The gameplay is locked 30fps (base or Pro). It's only the cutscenes that have very slight dips (on base or 4K Pro).
Basically Horizon performance and features.

Yeah so far I'm loving It's chapter 2 but the game still interesting. I can guarantee that you will like it. If you like take your time with a game you will like this. No doubt

I am playing for about 90 minutes so far... Holy shit the graphics are absolutely incredible. I am gaming since 1997 (i am 30 now) and I am absolutely blown away. The game looks exactly like in trailers and there is no downgrade. The amount of detail and scope of the terrain is staggering. I just cannot... Wow.
The story is very gripping so far and I love every second of it. The act of walking is MUCH more complex than some reviews made it out to be. It is very engaging.
The map and orders ui is a bit of a mess but its no biggie so far.
Overall - even if it turned into worst game ever, those first two starting hours are an achievement worth more than 2 stars (looking at You alex navarro).
I love sci fi and I love nice views so what's not to like here? I use to play fuel just to roam around too.

The whole set up before you Head Out is straight up what MGSV did before each mission. Deciding what you think is worth bringing and what can stay in storage. Equipping your gear intelligently so you can avoid being weighed down in certain spots and teeter tottering. I love it.
The whole balance game can be mostly avoided if you aren’t running around like the fuckin Kool Aid Man.

I watch theradbrad starting the game sprinting all over the rocks and jumping like uncharted.
Also yeah I probably jumped 10 times so far I mostly dodge obstacles instead of climbing or jumping over it

I agree with the menus. Especially item management is a pain in the ass tbh. Lol
This game also doesn't lend itself for quick sessions.
First real encounter with enemies ended up in me just going yolo and punching them out. On hard.

My biggest complain with the menus are the letters are too small to play a bit far away from the TV... I had to go near the TV to read some options.
It probably should be fine in a Monitor.

Yh, I get what you mean.
My issue is how convoluted it all works.
If you overloaded yourself, you have to go to options, pick Cargo, select the items you want to drop, confirm your choices, then hold X to confirm once again and then confirm your confirmation.
Could've been handled a lot better.
