I can sympathize with him. personally I will not be participating so much with the release of Death Stranding. this board spoiled MGSV for me, and I was only lurking. I like the mystery to DS and want to preserve that. once I start the game I am going on blackout.
also, as another fan of Kojima's it has been insufferable just waiting to the release. this isn't a fault of this board itself, it is an internet wide, social media thing, i have seen many forums full of trolling & ironic hate & console flame wars. perhaps it is a testament to how big an impact this one auteur has on gaming. what he has made is so iconic, so far above most other creators (compare him just to the Bethesda team alone, just QC & polish are above and beyond most games) but it makes it difficult to discuss the game at all.
too many trolls. too many haters. once the ending leaks in a major way people will be openly spoiling it just to troll. so I'm going to be ignoring most DS threads for a while for these reasons. I know it's impossible to block for this sort of thing, but I can do my best, and besides, I'd rather be, u know, playing the game itself, than arguing about it online.

I think Kojima's characters relate to the artistic, Hollywood world, some reviews aren't pretty but when you got a genius like Kojima with tons of fans supporting him, the high review scores will be there right with you.

Via incognito or a cookies delete, yeah. When I was banned, I had to do that to browse as a guest, or I was permanently stuck at the ban screen when coming to Neogaf.
I just assumed that if he self-banned, it’d be a no visit thing as well. If he has read this thread, that makes me really happy.

That’s what I did as I took some time to reflect, but not everybody is able to resist the temptation if the temptation is there.
I know I had to stop myself from clicking here once or twice. It’s habit forming and hard to break without outside help.
