PewDiePie and wife Marzia Kjellberg burglarized in home invasion

Kinda hard to feel bad for rich people but damn. Love how there's a bunch of salty little liberals celebrating it too.

YouTube megastar PewDiePie’s house was ransacked by burglars — who stole “90%” of his wife’s valuables, according to his spouse.
Marzia Kjellberg, who lives with the vlogger in Brighton, England, took to social media over the weekend to discuss the alleged burglary, Business Insider reported.
“Our house was broken into and they took 90% of my valuables, from my jewelry, to luxury goods, and special items I’ve been collecting over the years. It’s all gone,” she wrote in an Instagram story.

I definitely feel bad for them, given that what was stolen seems irreplaceable.

It’s weird. I shouldn’t care, but you develop connections watching people for so long, even if it’s all completely one-sided.

Tbh, Pewds is based enough to know not to live in a country with no self-defense laws (therefore everything ripe for the picking). Time to move to that Japan house, where the culture is a lot better, permanently.

Some reference.

It’s a nice house, but it’s not really an upscale mansion or anything. Kind of hard to do any real security beyond alarms, cameras, and things I think wouldn’t do a whole lot to deter thieves (or even identify masked ones) in the moment.

Not sure Pewds could have done much else, aside from having a guard on the premises.

Not victim blaming but I hope he invests in better security. Having your personal space violated like that is not worth any dollar amount.

Sometimes the "Victims" could have done things differently, or better. To deny that, is to deny human nature.

This is a horrible thing, and whilst they have money, I still feel utterly awful for them.

Equally, you can bet your arse he'll now look to implement much better security.

It's all about learning from our own, and others' mistakes.

That really sucks. I know he had a bunch of rare Japanese collectables. Are the pugs ok? If they fucked with Edgar or Maya I'm going to lose it.

Time to upgrade that pellet gun Felix. Wouldn't be supprised if he really does move to Japan.

Sucks when bad shit happens to good people.

You’d think they’d have some sort of safe for the priceless things, it’s not going to stop having your home broken into but for a couple of grand you can have a big one built into the house, fireproof and bolted to the floor.
Too bad hope the pieces of shit get caught.

Damn.. I'm glad they're OK. Whoever did this should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I don't know much about UK law, so I don't know what all is involved.. but dang. That's gotta suck.

Most robberies occur when people aren't home. That's what makes it so scary. How long were these people watching your house? Are they still watching your house? Will they return?

Yeah, hopefully the burglars were white or else they'll be set free.

What a jackass.
Talking about yourself again hmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Now you're even creeping me out

Were they even at home when it happened?

Dunno.

But how hard would it be for a gang to cull him the next day and extort his money.

That's what u get when u are famous and have money. This is why people have security and gated walls with dogs and cars with security to drive kids to there schools. He's pretty much yoloing it atm. This is a good wake up call for him to start spending some more time on this department or live in neighborhoods where everybody has the same income which lowers your chances of being picked out. He probably sticks out like a sore thumb in that location and is easily focused.

I hope this is a wake up call for him where he starts to realize that the world isn't all nice and dandy.

I doubt it. He probably has to do a lot of paperwork and jump through all the hoops. Making sure he has a place to work and internet is pretty key for him so I would expect it may take a while.

WAIT WAIT WAIT...…..

His house in JAPAN was robbed???!!?!?!?!?!
Nani?

What the fucking japanese one got robbed? What the fuck? Is this a case of waito piggu go home??

Until I started going to Japan more regularly, I didn't really appreciate how much of a mental burden is relieved on one's self when you don't have to worry in the back of your head about getting mugged or burgled all the time.

It's very liberating.

Singapore is better IMHO - just as safe as Japan plus everyone speaks English.

A similar thing happened with Gavin Free, and James Willems of Funhaus.

A creepy fucker, wanted to live their life with Willems. And Gavin totally defend the love they had.

And it was a dark thing that happened. And Elise, that evil succumbed,...

I haven't been to Singapore, but I can imagine the humidity being a huge issue especially for people not used to living in such an environment.

Not going to victim blame but an UHNWI with that amount of money should not live in a house that can be burgled and has no guards. Dude is a literal burgal magnet

If he lived in the USA, surely he'd be legally allowed to ice these fuckers with the second amendment? That's a point right there for the US constitution.

On the plus side, the culture here for insurance fraud is pretty good. Marzia will clean up.
