WELL FUCK ME AND MY PESSIMISM HERE IT IS. Nemesis looks amazing, Jill isn't Julia Voth but at least she kind of resembles the og RE3 one. Carlos is what. WHATEVER IM SO HAPPY

If someone showed me this RE3 Remake photo without context I'd never tell that supposed be Jill.

At least she looks much better than Claire.

Hope they wont forget OG Mercenaries from RE3.

Not a fan of these designs and RE3 was practically perfect as it was unlike RE2 so I cant say I have the same interest in playing a remake.

I like it. New Jill certainly looks better than new Claire (who is still pretty cute though). Guess it's not long till the announcement proper.

We havent heard the new, and most likely worse, voices or seen how many gameplay elements got cut yet so we cant really start bitching about them at the moment.

She looks like a fucking doll with whore lips...or just the combination of a woman and a lizard...

What is up with Capcom's fetish of changing the face models like this and making them nearly unrecognisable? Plastic Surgery is dirt cheap in the RE universe because of zombies seems to be the only ingame reason I can come up with really.

REmake2 Claire always looked like she was flaring her nostrils. Weird, she didn't look like that in the reveal trailer. Isn't it a "thing" now that game make women look a bit more realistic and not like sex bots? I'm not against it, Claire just looked like she was smelling something off all the time. Probably the zombies.

The RE2make as well. The character models were the least of it's problems yet that's what people always go back to. Zoomers only care about graphics I guess.

This is awesome. The only thing I didn't like is the "caution, caution, caution, caution" on Nemesis.

Too literal to my tastes. It is like Joker's "Damaged" in the forehead. People will know Nemesis is serious business the first time they meet him.

This was bound to happen. Why would they leave one game out? All the mainline games are now on PS4 but this one.

I still haven't played 2 remake yet.

Remember Nemesis is cargo while not active, that could just be something for subtle world-building that ends up re-purposed during gameplay.

I had similar, but... less extreme, lol, feelings about RE2. It's because they're scanning in real actors, I guess, because Capcom feels that's the best way to do modern characters.

For what it's worth, I ended up liking the RE2 ones. I guess it's just time moving on, tech advancing, and actors aging, you know?

I'd be curious if somebody knows if scanning in real actors is easier than trying to make a realistic character from scratch, then of course mo-capping them on someone with a different facial structure, etc. It seems like it could be.

I generally think that RE Engine faces look freaky/creepy. Especially when they scream or shout. There's this uncanny valley feeling I can't shake.

They already fucked up with the bald one being a nemesys figure in re2 remake, nemesys is not gonna have the same impact now, stupid capcom...

Compared to the other main character like Chris, Claire and Jill redesign which look hot garbage....

At least Leon still look close enough to original source and still maintain some resemblance to itself...

Relatable. :messenger_tears_of_joy: Literally the scariest game I've ever played, to the point where pressing on after a certain character appears, took everything I had.

Now there's going to be a version of this where you're stalked the entire time?

I'm still in, mind you, just already terrified, hahaha.

Ostensibly, the Capcom folks over there in Japan have been in the process of changing the designs of classic characters. First it was Chris Redfield from RE7.
Then it was Claire Redfield from RE2Remake (remember the E3 2018 reveal trailer, people didn't get so worked up with the new Claire, and hardly anyone cheered when she was shown).



Now it's Jill's, Carlos' and Nemesis' turn to receive a make-over.
But people will resist to change. People are, quite often not so susceptible to changes. That's the human nature after all....
