Marvel Phase Four Schedule

Same here, bruv.

I love cosmic Marvel and the fact that the inspiration for the original comic was Chariots of the Gods.

Kinda surprised there's little to no excitement at least here on it but I can empathize with the cape shit burn out.

I thought Rachel Weisz was in this movie though. Still a beautiful member of the tribe especially at her age. I guess she's in one of the other Marvel films.

What did catch me off guard is Eternals is coming out this year. I thought it was a year or two away. No good pics or trailers yet though but I guess they're saving that for the Super Bowl.

Rachel Weisz is playing Iron Maiden in Black Widow.

Speaking of Eternals, Kit was pictured filming today:

Black Knight & Sersi are the leads.

The MCU has been an absolute blast since Iron Man came out. I'll try staying optimistic for what comes next, but I'm not feeling any excitement whatsoever. The phase 4 timeline kind of reminds me of a spinning comic book stand full of comics for either supporting characters or obscure characters I know nothing about. When everything was tied into the Avengers they were interesting. Without that hook - I just don't know how many I will be seeing in theaters.

No offense to anyone who is familiar / fans of these characters, but for mass market appeal they should really have stuck with Spidey, real Thor, Hulk, etc., and started incorporating Xmen for phase 4. Just my opinion.

They can't exactly stick with Spidey when Sony controls him and only lends him to Marvel.

All I want is to continue the stories they gave me, both macro (as a central figure in the MCU) and micro (cliffhanger). I reserve the right to be disappointed by the apparent lack of follow-up I was hoping for.

Yeah I read on http://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com that it's going to revolve around Sersi.

I know literally nothing about thesd characters but that is okay. It'll feel fresh like a bar of Irish Springs soap.

I have a feeling this will be the launch point of whatever the overarching megaplot will be for the next couple of phases.

I have to look up Iron Maiden now too.

No they're finishing that. Spider-Man 3 comes out July 16, 2021. They start filming this summer.

The focus is Sersi and Black Knight (a human) and it's a love triangle with them and Ikaris.

I feel pretty similar, however, I thought the same about Ant-man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr Strange/etc back in the day, and was pleasantly surprised each time. I didn't even see Thor: Ragnarok in theaters since I was put off by Thor 2: The Dark World (I know, shame on me), and now it's one of my all-time favs.

The MCU has earned my blind loyalty for now. Until they release a stinker, I'll keep trusting in them, even as we get wackier and wackier.

You want wacky? Wait for Disney+ later this year...

I'm guessing you're talking about WandaVision? Or What If?

I really appreciated the MCU and their build up to things, it all felt very believable, even Space with the Guardians/etc. I never thought that'd be possible. Everything upcoming is a whole other level though, but I'm excited!

WandaVision. What If? is next summer.

I'm not terribly excited about any of this now. I had high hopes for Dr Strange until Disney/Marvel Studios parted ways with the horror director over creative differences. I suppose that Shang-Chi movie might be a welcome departure from the average Marvel fare (for the record I love Marvel movies, I'm just feeling a little fatigue from the constant sameyness of the movies in tone).

When I saw the first trailer for GOTG I thought it was the dumbest pos I've ever seen.

Went to see it in theaters due to word of mouth.

Walked out felt like I'd seen the original Star Wars for the first time.

One of the few times where a movie exceeded my expectations. It not only exceeded it, but turned out to be one of my favorite sci-fi movies ever. Pure joy.

I call it the best Star Wars movie Disney has made.

They are officially doing female Thor?

I hold out hope they will do something different and use beta ray bill instead.

I would not be surprised if Beta Ray Bill pops up in the next movie.

He was hinted at in Ragnarok.

I hope Darcy Lewis returns. I have a fetish for the whole nerdy Jewish girl aesthetic.

I don't remember that in ragnarok at all.

And nerdy or Jewish aside, she is pretty hot.

Feige even says he has planned for an appearance in a future film.

Darcy will be in one of the Disney+ shows but I forget which one.
Maybe the Loki series?

Maybe the Loki series?

Darcy is in WandaVision along with Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp and the adult Monica Rambeau.

WandaVision was my next guess.

Cool. I like Darcy and Scarlet Witch.

Fun fact: I used to have a Scarlet Witch poster which had demons in the background from the comics.

Edit: Googled the hell out of it and found the poster I once had I'm referring to on eBay.

That's a very cool poster.
I'm tempted to decorate my place with some Marvel posters. Or those other things that stick to your wall magnetically.

EDIT
They're called Displate.
