Wow resetera are confirmed idiots
Yep. The extreme left is big, fat, dumb cancer on society.

When other people make mistakes they’ve got a Scarlet Letter for life and nothing they can do to atone for it.

When they make mistakes it’s a “momentary lack of judgement,” and they will “strive to do better.”

Nope, they can just go fuck their hypocritical selves off a cliff. I have no use for them.

While the whole thing is tragic, I mean it's really tragic that kids died in the crash. At this point though it just feels like every celebrity is giving out their "thoughts" or whatever for publicity or attention.

Like do we really need to know how Stephen fucking Colbert feels about Kobe Bryant's death?

It just feels like celebrities are trying to one up themselves now for exposure to profit off of peoples deaths and it's kinda fucking pathetic.

Agreed. I can't stand how fake these people are. Them and twitter check marks are nothing but vultures.

Yeah it seems to be getting a bit overboard and ridiculous at this point to be honest. I just saw a new article about how all the players for the Super Bowl are devastated by the news and hope to be able to stay focused for the game.

Like what? These NFL players are just destroyed because an NBA star they likely never spoke to died surprisingly?

I initially wasn’t bothered by the coverage but now it’s getting annoying and super fucking phoney.

People have been calling in bomb threats and shooting threats to all of Ari Shaffir's events. Fucked up. As gross as Ari Shaffir's tweets were, whatever happened to just ignoring idiots and assholes? I'll always be consistent with this. If someone commits a crime then justice should be sought. But he didn't commit a crime. He was an asshole. I think the culture we've devolved into where people seek revenge over shit they don't like is a really bad precedent to set. It accomplishes nothing other than to make someone feel good about themselves for a fleeting moment and then it's done. Whatever happened to "dude's an asshole, just let it be." And yeah, you can argue he should've known this is how society is at this point before he made those posts, but it doesn't make it right either. Assholes have a right to earn a living.

Ari should have known better. Anyone that’s spent any time in LA knows dude was like a superhero to that city.

context on that.

guy is a coward.

Shaffir, best-known for his comedy specials on Netflix and his frequent appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, tweeted the his message just hours after news of the helicopter crash broke on Sunday.

“Kobe Bryant died 23 years too late today. He got away with rape because all the Hollywood liberals who attack comedy enjoy rooting for the Lakers more than they dislike rape. Big ups to the hero who forgot to gas up his chopper.”

Only two hours after sending this to his over 217,000 followers Shaffir went back online and tweeted that he was hacked, as reported by Heavy. He has since made his Twitter account private.

In conflict with his claim of being hacked, Shaffir had also taken to Instagram and posted a video shortly after in which he said a “good” story came out.

“A guy who got away with rape got his today,” the comedian said in the video.

Lmao. Did he always have them protected or is this more of his cowardice?

I've always liked Ari. This just I dont know man. It was so wrong, just a piece of shit move. The fact that kids and other families were involved makes it that much more vile. I think I'm just gonna stop listening to his podcasts and anything else he does. I always support trying to be funny even when it sucks or its trying too hard to be edgy. But I don't know man that shit enraged me so he got what he wanted in being a troll but that backlash is severe. You get what you ask for buddy.

The hacking thing was definitely Ari trolling. I’ve always been ambivalent on Ari, I know him as a Rogan guest and that’s it I don’t listen to him by himself or any of his stuff. I think the best way to describe him is he’s an asshole or jackass but I don’t think he’s an innately evil person or something. His comments were really fucked up, but calling in bomb and shooting threats is equally fucked up. As is the one comedy club shutting down one event over it. Just a whole situation of pretty much everyone involved handling everything horribly.

Ari is a hard head, he gives no fucks. I wouldn’t be shocked if Rogan called him and told him to dial it back for his sake until things die down, before things get way out of hand and that’s why he went private and put out the apology.

went over to downtown LA last night with my dad. driving by the city hall and saw that it's all light up in purple and gold already choke me up a little.

we got to Staples Center around 7pm after going around the area a little for parking. walked a couple blocks to get there and still a lot of people over there. not sure if it's out of respect or maybe it's just regulation (probably the later), but all the Kobe T-shirt sellers on the street are pretty far from where everyone is going. me and my dad got there and see all the giant monitors are light up with a picture of of Kobe and Gianna together. lots of things placed on the ground along the side of street between Staples Center and Nokia Theater. also lots of people had left behind word on the ground using Sharpe or what not. I was there for around 20~30 minutes and seen only a few people cried. most just have that depressing look on their face. not all are sad of course, some are being cheerful and trying to play this mini basketball and stuff. overall it's about what I expected. I paid my respect there and looked around a little with my dad and then left. it's not much but it helps to be there with all the people who miss him as I do.

cbs has an animation, it seems like my suspicions may be correct i had a feeling it wasn't that the helicopter hit the side of a mountain since i saw the debris was scattered so violently seems like they were falling from the sky. says they were descending at 5000 ft per minute and going 184 mph.

So that means everyone on board must have known they were going down? From what I've heard so far, I presumed the impact was almost instant. Your vid suggests they may have had time to contemplate what was happening as the copter was going down.

A ton of those shirts are gonna end up on ebay and I predict a bunch of shill bidding to jack up the prices and not paying to stick it to the sellers.

Also Kobe's helicopter is all black with Nike badges. The crashed chopper is not black. It is white and blue.
Go check footage of the actual wreckage. Shit doesn't add up.

i think the black nike badging was just temporary. seems like every helicopter gets registered and Kobe's was N72EX

Think this will come back to haunt the #metoo-ers who didn’t even wait for the bodies to get cold before reminding everybody how much more moral they are than the rich black athlete?

I mean it could be what kills the movement for awhile.

People. It was consensual until Kobe bent her over and shoved it up her ass. He didn't have her consent to do that.

Had he not been so abruptly aggressive, and fucked her pussy, it would have been fine.

So yes he did rape but he's not a racist, and he's not a bad person. It was a bad sexual experience. He wouldn't do that as an older man.

For voicing a very unpopular opinion? That's ridiculous.

yup, I agree. as shitty a take as it is, he shouldn't be fire for that. though I feel him talking about it in what I assume is a music class, hence it had nothing to do with what he SHOULD be doing should not go unnoticed.

Don’t know whether he should be sacked or not, but it’s massively unprofessional. I teach in a university and I’m paid to teach the subject the students have turned up for. Not go on a massive and divisive rant about a completely unrelated subject of my choosing.

Even if a student had asked for his opinion he should have declined. I’ve had all sorts of questions about Brexit and Trump, and whilst I’m confident we’d be in agreement it’s simply not the time and place.

He comes across as an arrogant prick. So what if he has good qualifications in music. It hardly qualifies him to lecture students on what they should think about the sudden death of a sporting icon, or anyone else for that matter.

I share your sentiment, and I still think he should not be fired for that. Period. It would be no different to terminating someone for having the "wrong" political opinion.
