Agreed. I don’t play many games today because developers force me to play a narrative I can’t relate with.

Examples include
- Death Stranding (I’m not a UPS delivery guy)
- Devil May Cry (I don’t ever see myself slaying demons)
- Uncharted (I don’t treasure hunt)

Naughty Dog director once said he has a political agenda regarding feminism or something like that, so there always will be some criticism on his vision.
However this doesn't mean that the game can't be possibly worth playing

The first game was full of characters with nuances with many motivations. The second part cannot be judged without having played it, just because the main motive that guides one of the characters is hatred and revenge. I think your analysis is very hasty.

ND games have always looked the same or better than the first thing shown. They have never dropped the level like other studies.

I can't take wokeness anymore. To the point that in these days, if I see a female main character, I automatically stop getting interested in a game.

Well, it's based on what Druckman said about the game, about his reason for creating it. And although you state that I shouldn't judge the game just because "one of the characters" is driven by anger and revenge, that is not "one of the characters," it's the main/lead character, around whom the game is centered.

I acknowledge that this is just my impression. However, that is all anyone has, at this point, including those who are expressing very enthusiastic views.

I'll play the game eventually. But my initial impression is that I wouldn't enjoy its thematic focus (the effects of violence) or the main character's motivation (anger, revenge). The alleged wokeness is also a bit off-putting, although that's secondary.

Anyhow, I'm likely to wait for a while before picking it up. I'll be following impressions and reviews.

Sony's flagship studio. The studio's flagship IP. Landing on the PS4 at the end of the generation.

This is something to be hyped about. I personally cannot wait and i don't mind waiting on PS5 news. Atleast we have these games coming out along with Ghost of Tushima and Dreams.

Without these awesome games coming soon, the wait for PS5 news would have been even more unbearable. Lucky that Modern Warfare and Division 2 updates dropped yesterday so there is even more to keep me busy.

Happy times.

Agenda/political ideology to doctrine people who play videogames was the worst thing happened in the industry recently.

The Original had much more intelligent NPC a.i and it got dumbed down

This is true. The moment i realized Gran Turismo is about driving cars. I PUKED and IMMEDIATELY REMOVED THE GAME! wtf do they think, that i am a race driver? fak off with that car shit.
and dont even get me started with GOD OF WAR...LIKE I DONT HAVE A FUCKING SON! STOP MAKING ME A DAD... I. CANT. HANDLE. THE. RESPONSIBILITY.

Watch it again then watch these gameplays and tell me the E3 one is not scripted as fuck. Everything happens so seamlessly and so perfectly. We were led to believe that this is thanks to some new development in their engine and I'm sure it's present in some form but it's clear the game won't play like that E3 demo.

Why have a female gay leader is forced? There isn't gay people in this world?And you can count in your hands how many gay leaders we have in gaming,let alone in a high popular franchise,forced to me is Overwatch,where characters become gays from a season to another and has no deep,only exist to say " Hey,look to us,we embrace diversity"(the same can be said about Apex Legends).I hate when this shit is forced,but I don't see how Part 2 is,I would like to know why you think it is.

Multiple runs. I mean its not a real time demo, its a video. I would say the 2019 gameplay video is probably what one is looking at. So, yeah I wouldn't expect a game quite like the 2018 video, but pretty much everything you see in the E3 2018 appears to be in the 2019 demo.

I agree with you it looks very nice and too perfect, well, when you make multiple runs and you know how the AI is going to react than you can get a better video. Scripted, probably not.... someone playing it 200 times to get a desired outcome... sure.

it didn't offend anyone. I think the question most of us have is, did you feel offended? did the E3 offend you or your what you stand for? I think there should be some space for jokes while we talk about these subjects, so please, dont take things to heart..

I was wondering if you can explain in detail as I havent watched anything apart from the initial gameplay trailer that was knifing the bold guy etc.

I remember the A.i chaned alot from first to what was released. What has changed from the initial gameplay trailer till now? Animations, interactiions with environment when fighting Or hiding etc? I dont want to watch the new trailers but wondering if you can tell me so i wont be dissapointed.

I really want to keep the game for surprise just like I havent watched any FF7 remake trailers since announcement lol

Not sure what you are looking at, but it looks pretty much the same. some parts of the game are going to play out differently, they originally showed off some cool aspects in the story. Please Elaborate on how it's nothing like the demo shown originally.

They can. I'm not interested in playing it though. The problem with this the game started off about joel and ellie, after the game became highly successful now they wanna changed it to a political narrative about feminism and supporting LGBT movement. Ill still get the game eventually but i never would have bought it in the first place if it started the series the way part 2 is.

If you finished the original game it was pretty clear we were going play as Ellie in sequel and we knew from left behind she was gay, so what? I would say do what you have to do, I’m not gonna blindly hate on a game because these days people love to scream about “woke/SJW” BS. I’m sick of hearing it, devs are free to put everything they want in their games and you are free not like it, it’s that simple.

I knew we would play as ellie. i thought It would be 50/50 joel and ellie. i knew ellie was gay because of the DLC, but it wasn't the main focus of the game, like this one was. the first trailer has ellie and a girl making out like who the fuck ever started a videogame trailer with even a woman and a man making out, nobody cares we see this shit in movies everyday. this video explains well.
