Out of sheer curiosity, I used The Google's built-in car loan calculator to see what happens. Value of the car is an assumption, I have no idea how much she paid for a new 2020 Nissan Versa.

Even the first car loan and mortgage I had in the early 2000s weren't this high. And interest rates were higher back than.
Unless someone is the worst negotiator ever, or has such bad credit banks will only give out loans that high, nobody in modern day should be paying any rates close to 7% whether it's for a house or a car.
Even lines of credit which is typically a prime rate +0-4% depending on your credit score and promotional deals wouldn't be 7%.
The worst loan rate I've ever had was when oil was $100+ and everyone's variable mortgage was going up like crazy around 2006. My variable mortgage went up about 2.00% and it still topped out at around 5.50%. Then it all crashed down and my mortgage at one time was only 2.00%.

One side of my family is from there, and I was surprised how much of a better job they're doing at integrating refugees / immigrants than Sweden for example does (though I bet Era hates "integration").

oh yeah, i mean the entire conversation is honestly a giant waste of time. the two countries are insanely different. georgaphically, climate wise, history wise, population, landmass, regional neighbors, etc. comparing the US's history as a group of overseas British/French/Dutch colonies to the European conflicts Finland dealt with. obviously the Slave Trade wouldn't have worked because Nordic countries were not in the trade triangle and it's not like cotton grows in Finland anyways.
