Hey to speculate again, I'm not tech savvy at all, but 11.6 sounds very good and reasonable, especially if the aim is greater efficiency than the competition. 12+ is in line with most insiders, and more promising for VR (11.6 is promising as well, more power the better) If the ps5 does both, God damn Sony.

I see no problem XSX being 12TF and PS5 at 11.6TF. There will practically be no difference.
There will be other factors at play that will swing advantage or disadvantage for either side.

11.6TF would basically indicate that Sony would already massively push their GPU clocks in order to reach that number, because if they wouldn't it would make zero sense to not slightly up the clocks to tie the SX

Considering just about every insider who claimed PS5 is 12-13tf hasn't really said anything in weeks, IMO that shows low confidence.
With these endless Rogame/Komechi (sp?) tweets coming out every week reconfirming the same kind of stuff over and over again, that 9.2tf seems more believable each day.

Out of all the insdiers, how many even got Series X 12tf RDNA 2.0 right? And that's after MS even said "double the power of X" and RDNA based. So right there you already got clues. Pretty hard to be totally off base when MS already fed hints. Even going to the name, I don't think I saw one even predict Series X as the product name.
As for PS5, that recent 5600xt 7tf might be PS5 Lite.
You knew know. Maybe MS and Sony have both a low end 4-7tf system and a 12tf system.

What market though? Fanboy market? PS5 did not sell 100+ million by selling to handful of fanboys alone.
PS5 will be fine at 11.6. There will be practically no difference.

I personally don't care if we get any leaks or not, but I've seen a pattern with real/fake insiders and if memory serves me right, this never happened last time. Many of the insiders post a wishy-washy vague riddled mess of a leak, everyone naturally responds with confusion and eventually frustration due to lack of clarity, real/fake insiders then say they won't post anything any more citing hate as the reason and stop posting leaks. That's what I meant by "running away", I'm aware they're still around.

This has nothing to do with my post but I'll say this, the Coronavirus isnt the only crisis that's affecting us, there are crises far greater in other parts of the world that have existed for much longer, the virus just makes their problems worse. Its only us sitting in our cosy homes in first world countries that have the time to think about a damn virus.

nah, they will release the PS4pro expansion Pack, that contains more ram, and that will turn the PS4 pro into the PS5.
it will be a 4th layer on top of the PS4pro, and it will connect to the back USB.

I disagree with her. If we're just talking about waiting until June to reveal then that's fine, Sony has a great marketing team. But if we're talking about product shortages AND delays? Remember the Bloomberg report which stated Sony were investing in an expensive cooling system for the PS5, maybe 11.6 is the optimum level for the PS5 to run quietly for long periods of time. Anything more won't put stress on the GPU but may compromise on Sony's objective for the PS5 operating at a quiet level. That's just pure speculation of course.

I, myself, hope Sony would release info soon. I wanted them to do that since last year when Cerny made an interview with wired.
Playstation fanbase though is bigger than neogaf or reddit. Sony still have big releases for PS4 this year.
