what a fucking joke.
a shitty boring presentation and specs from eurogamer with a less powerful machine to aim at that 400 price point.

so disappointed.

We still don't know the price.
XSX is more powerful but probably more expensive. PS5 with this specs at 399 would be ok.

Considering XSX have a fixed GPU clock, 1.825mhz which is quite high per se, it's very unlikey PS5 will mantain 2.23 most of the time. Even discrete GPU struggle to mantain clock over 2ghz. Rx5700 have a 1.9ghz boost clock.
Keep it simple: PS5 9 TF vs XSX 12TF.
Wait, what? Mark Cerny said 10.3TF. So shouldn't it be 10TF vs 12TF? Are you are a system/hardware engineer? I need more explanation on this? Are we just making guesses are we assuming? I'm genuinely curious, as it seems there are very many experts in this thread breaking this down.

no but for real, we knew it was going to be the GDC talk, so yeah, lots of data, not much games or the box itself.

disappointed that it has less flops than the series x. No matter how cerny puts it, it has less raw power.

so now, its all about the games.

Really glad the ps4 back compat is close to 100%

I enjoyed it, but I always love hearing Cerny talk about this technical stuff. I'm sure they will have a slick hardware reveal presentation soon.

Remember, this was just a GDC presentation that was probably supposed to have been held at the conference today, if it hadn't been cancelled. They should have messaged that point better, though, I agree.
