Weird ads you've gotten browsing the internet.

So this is an ad I've gotten for the 3rd time tonight. I haven't searched for anything remotely close to this. Anyone else?

There is always this weird Second Life banner on GAFs main page. A woman being lifted by a guy, but it looks like their are fucking.
Flaged it as inappropriate a few times, but google keeps sening it.

I dont use adblock because i want to support GAF when i am not subscribed to Gold.

Probably the vast majorities of ads, i.e. travel, airfare, hotels, resorts, local restaurants, etc have likely abruptly dropped to 0
right now.
That is why you are seeing so many unusual or untraditional ads. Before corona they were completely drowned out by the regular ads. Not so anymore.

In what I just said there could be useful investment ideas regarding the direction the stocks of advertizing-heavy enterprises, like Google, will take next quarterly report.
Just saying. Naked puts for the win.

I don't have a screenshot of it, but I've gotten ads on YouTube (the mobile app, not the desktop version) for Muslim dating sites.

I'm not saying anything against Islam, I just don't know where YouTube got the idea that I should get Muslim dating site ads.

Rentahamster

Rodent Whores

The image link doesn't work anymore, but it was for gay chubby dating.

I could use a little more gay chub in my life who's with me

I was listening to music videos during the weekend on the PS4 Youtube app and suddenly there was a 2-3 minutes long ad that advertised anti missile rockets and missiles too (although I'm not sure in the latter). I was like WTF??!! Is this for real? I searched in Google about it but found nothing. This is truly sad if that ad was for real.

Although what Can't decide Can't decide posted is even more sad and insane.

This influx of young investment professionals is a very scary thing. You aren't supposed to know these things nor profit off them.

I have been playing the options market since the early 90s and I am still around. So I wouldn't call myself new investor.
Give me a share, and it closing price for the last 6 months and I can calculate the volatility and the theoretical price on any call option for you. European style option or US style option. Using pen and paper if I need to.
Puts are different since they do not have a standard formula to decide what fair price is. And it is more up to the market maker to just play the pricing by feels.

I am however acutely aware that playing on the edge is enormoulsy risky, but the rewards are great. High risk == high reward (or catastrophy)
As long as you bet the right way in >50% of the times. I have been doing it for almost 30 years and I am still solvent so I am doing something right.

For reference, during dotcom death, I was sitting on a couple of milion naked puts in telco, mostly ericsson, when 9/11 happene and telco dropped like mad.
Very sadly, when all the markets opened again after three days all options were closed as they were prized at the end of market before 9/11. Sadly.

Aside from that setback, I rode the bearmarket with naked puts for several years very successfully and with very happy outcome.
Ericsson lost about 90-95% of their market cap over a few years so the naked put journey was very pleasant.

(This was more stupid blind luck than anything, But we were talking about the impeeding bust of credit systems in 08, and I stupidly did a crazy gamble just on emotions and got a few hundred thousand naked puts in bear sterns. Stupid because it was emotional and not after I had seen an established trend which I usually wait for before I take an options position. Still only a few hundred thousand puts so, crazy gamble but not that much money. Two days later they were bancrupt and my options literally exploded in value.)

It takes a LOT of work and an enormous amount of risk. But if you gamble correctly, crazy risky first or second derivative markets can be very very profitable. It can also bancrupt you in seconds if you do something stupid.
A fair amount of luck does not hurt either.

I ain't that old, Google, ya cunts!

It's probably because I posted Motley Crue in the music thread. They now think I'm 70.
