Its becoming harder and harder to keep track on these events.
Chaos is about to kick in.
And who is to say that officals can count every single death every day when there is soo many of them.

Thats why i give props to iran. They just slap on their stomach tell Ali to think of a number and report it. Any number he can think off will be still under the true numbers so he can never be wrong he just tells you at the end of the day thats all he could count. It would take him 2 days to count how many died in the past 24 hours.

As it spreads, more and more of the data will be incomplete or unreliable. Either people will slap Coronavirus on everything, or nothing.

I think if the person dies and Coronavirus was a contributing factor, it should be counted. If someone has Coronavirus and dies in a car accident or falls off a ladder and dies or something, sure, don't count that.

Also.. that's... a lot of masks

Ali must of been on lunch today and Muhammad took over, because for the first time in weeks they reported more than 150 deaths. Someone didn't copy and paste properly.

Its still not enough.
One person will go through 20 of them in a day.
I just saw yesterday on the news some new york doctor spent 17k on ppe on the black market and he went to a warehouse that was full of masks and such.

Its already in the country but for some reason some mobs are holding it hostage.

Those are some scary numbers that go against other stats. At least half of the "critical" cases should get better.

It's missing vital data, like how many critical people vs. How many ventilators.

That is, say you have 90 people in serious condition, 10 people in critical.

If you have 10 ventilators, and put the 10 critical on ventilators, and they all die, it looks like ventilators don't help because you have a 100% death rate on ventiators.

If you have 100 ventilators, and put all 100 people on them, and 90 survive, it makes it look like ventilators save the day.

My point is, it's really, really difficult to crunch numbers on this in a meaningful way because we simply aren't privy to enough data... just enough to be dangerously wrong.

Probably due to the cultures of hand-shaking and kissing each other hello is more prevalent in those areas. Thus the chances of receiving a higher virus load at the beginning? Just a thought.
That doesn't explain it, as it's about those who already got infected.

I know that drug effectiveness tests were done on critical cases, with two groups of about 100 people.
In both groups, about 25% died.

He did call it a hoax.

it was too late banning people from China. The virus was out in the big wide world from the beginning without doubt. The only response correct would have been a lockdown from the first cases.

He did not call it a hoax. Watch the video. He was saying the democrats were politicizing Corona virus and treating it like the 'new hoax' like Ukraine or Russia. It is exceedingly clear he was saying Democrats were treating it like a hoax, not that it is a hoax.

And then they hoaxed you again by lying to you about what he called a hoax.

Trump formed a Corona virus task force back in january, when the media was still saying it was nothing. Trump was banning travel back when the media didn't care, and they called him racist for it.

You are being lied to. And then spreading lies. Get your act together. Research for yourself.

Politico appears to misconstrue the subject of the president’s statement, claiming that Trump “tried to cast the global outbreak of the coronavirus as a liberal conspiracy intended to undermine his first term.”

But an examination of the video and transcript show Trump actually described Democratic complaints about his handling of the virus threat as “their new hoax.”

Think of it like this, he banned travel to china.

Yet, Europe was already with thousands of infected, he travelled ban to Europe except to and from the UK, which had the highest growth in infected numbers....so yeah.

Your delusional or naive.

He banned travel to the UK almost immediately after. During his press conference he was asked why UK wasn't banned, and he said the list of banned countries was based on current numbers and given to him by experts, and he would ban UK if the numbers changed. They did, and he immediately banned them.

It seems they "found" a "vendor" who "had" 39 million masks on-hand and now the SEIU is helping to find that "vendor" buyers.. so they're not donating them or anything, and it seems the SIEU is just acting as a middleman here..

The union launched an exhaustive search for masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) five days ago in response to pleas from frontline healthcare workers that they need more protection and feel unsafe on the job as they treat the growing number of COVID-19 patients. SEIU-UHW has 97,000 members who work in hospitals across California.

Within 48 hours of painstakingly calling leads and potential suppliers, the union discovered a distributor who had the 39 million masks, and has since found another supplier who says his company can produce 20 million more masks a week. The union also has found a supplier who can deliver millions of face shields.

What vendor was sitting on 39 million masks while everyone was saying they were desperately needed?

How ironic it happens to be the same damned number they said in the press conference on the 16th or 17th.

Just double checked. It was 35 million /month.

9 of 10 people who visit the hospital to get tested for coronavirus -- using up the hospital staff's time and resources -- don't have it. And that's the worst ratio (places like UK, Spain, and Italy). In places like S. Korea they reported that only 2% of people who got tested for coronavirus actually had it.

So who is overwhelming hospitals? By the numbers, it isn't people with coronavirus. I acknowledge the very dire shortages that some countries are facing right now which is exactly why hysteria should be countered by truth.

Please provide the article(s) that show 9 out of 10 people who visit hospitals around the world to get tested for Coronavirus don't have it. And if the article does not go on to explain how this is what causes the strain on hospitals around the world, please also provide that. This is what I'm, seeing right now, less than 60 miles away from my home. If you can provide the articles to back up your claims and those articles are backed by science and or trustworthy data, I'll be the first to apologize.

Our worst nightmare is happening. We can't do this do our health care workers. We can't. This is America, the best country in the world.

The article? Just look back to UK's official numbers: most recently they said ~90k tested, ~9k were positive with coronavirus. These numbers come out on a daily basis. That means ~81k people showed up to the hospital with symptoms, laid down in a bed, received a test, used up hospital resources, and then got told (thankfully) "nope, you don't have it bruv. Go home"

If you need an appeal to authority to use your brain, I'm not going to do your homework for you.

You don't have to apologize, but I'd recommend taking a deep breath and being rational.

Lousiana is considered extremely high at 33% postitive.

For comparison, Washington state had tested more than 10,000 people as of Monday, according to its website, and 769 of them had tested positive, meaning only 8% of tests were positive there.

The above article is pure negative spin, yet still says:

Through interviews with dozens of public-health officials and a survey of local data from across the country, The Atlantic could only verify that 1,895 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the United States, about 10 percent of whom have tested positive.

And remember, testing was limited early and only given to very sick people, or critical employees with a high chance of having it.... and still we only saw 1 in 10.

Also found this:

Number of tests and positivity rate for Covid-19 as of Feb. 26

UK: 7,132 concluded tests, of which 13 positive (0.2% positivity rate). [source]
Italy: 9,462 tests, of which 470 positive, awaiting results: unknown (at least 5.0% positivity rate). [source]
France: 762 tests, of which 17 positive, 179 awaiting results (at least 2.2% positivity rate). [source]
Austria: 321 tests, of which 2 positive, awaiting results: unknown (at least 0.6% positivity rate). [source]
South Korea: 66,652 tests with 1766 positives 25,568 awaiting results (4.3% positivity rate). [source]
United States: 445 concluded tests, of which 14 positive (3.1% positivity rate). [source]

The swab can be performed at home, community medical centres and there are drive through centres. Unless symptoms are serious people are not taking up beds to get swabbed so your supposition is total bullshit.

My best friend must be going crazy right now.

He's used to going out to casinos literally every other day to gamble, which is partially how he makes his income.

I just texted him to see how he's doing. I suggested he buys an Xbox 360 online for cheap and I'd throw in an extra controller and a few games he could keep.

You see what you wanna see, and this is pointless if hes your favorite player. Lord Soros.

What?!

Well, right now there are 500K total cases worldwide, something like 375K "active" cases, and we've lost 2317 people just today (worldwide, so far).

If the US is at 80K cases now, and gains 15K/day (it should increase each day but I don't like math), we'd need like 19 days (likely less) to get to the total # of cases worldwide right now, so theoretically we would be seeing 2000+ deaths/day here in the US alone if we're using World Wide numbers.

Fair enough, not all 81k are going to a hospital and using up resources. But neither are they all getting sent home, either. Testing stations and do-it-yourself swabs have only recently been made available. For the majority of the outbreak (and I'm stretching back to the original reports back in November) tests were taken at the doctor.

Which is why much ado was made about a lack of test kits.

Or did people forget about that controversy?

Anyway, Sugarmonkey Sugarmonkey wanted numbers for Italy, UK, and Spain.

Italy has tested 232k with 59k detected cases (bonus statistics: Germany 324k tested, 25k positive)

Spain has tested 350k with 56k testing positive.

Another bonus: Spain's kits from China only had a 30% accuracy, so they ditched them.

Listening to one of the chumps in New Yawk today and he was saying a standard ICU stay was on average 7 days, but currently an average Covid ICU patient is averaging 30 days.

So if your ICU system is ALREADY overloaded, you do the math(s) on 30, 60, 90 days.

Be a lot more than just ‘sore throat’.
