I was likely directly exposed today. I hope my makeshift PPE was sufficient. Larger populations who are doing more frequent testing will show more positives. There are also a lot of very large dense populations, high levels of poor people and the lack of accessible healthcare don't exactly do it any favours.

The US was slow on the uptake of measures but this is hardly surprising.

That's because we imposed lockdown on the whole country unlike US. My state Odisha only had 3 cases and we imposed lockdown. Bhubaneswar(my district) is literally a ghost town with only Police patrolling and will fine anyone who disobeys. Some stores are now allowed to open but you have to maintain a distance. You can just google it up instead of posting things up your ass. Everything is closed. US may have more resources but they didn't act.
Also, everyone who came from abroad was tested and quarantined since January, so I don't know what you are talking about.
