Is this somehow referencing Klee that was posting over at Era? I have asked but was ignored over there...but was Klee completely wrong or what? If someone can PM any details...I am just curious. I've been saying 9.2 for months, and eventually, though it's an obvious upclock, the leaks turned out to be true. They always turn out to be true.
The thing that makes me laugh is that despite having an almost 3 TFLOP, base clock, weaker gpu, a weaker cpu, slower memory bandwidth, an unknown amount of dedicated RAM, and the only plus they have is a hard disk that'll load a game 4 seconds faster, by some magical process, it's somehow the more powerful platform. It's like people forgot how to count. They make Mr X MEDIA seem sane.

So he was completely wrong? WOW. I am over at Era and I did not read everything, but some people were acting like Klee was the second coming of Christ and that he could do no wrong. I do remember people over there claiming he said he had the specs sheets for both and that hands down the PS5 was stronger. I mean, I own all consoles and a high end PC so I really don't care, but the amount of people defending him and hanging on every single word he would post was sad.
But thanks for letting me know what happened. Like I mentioned, I knew some stuff that Klee said, but was not 100% on most of his stuff.

There used to be a user on here that was convinced TLW was an undercover Xbox fanboy, trying to make Sony fans look bad. I wouldnt be totally surprised to be honest. And if you look at his posts, very few Sony fanboys actually reply to his posts, almost like they are sceptical too.
As for that Crytec 'dev' thread, i got banned for console warring (i dont own a console ironically) because i posted a picture of Phil Spencer laughing (a perfect responce to the ridiculousness i thought), yet users like CJY are still shitposting in the thread, hmmm.
Anyway the delusion in that thread will only make the DF face offs at launch all the more sweeter.

I think its just a case of what was rumored. They were probably aiming for a 2019 release and for some reason delayed it. And in the process got caught with their pants down by ms. They cheaped out on the pro and probably did so with the Ps5, as well as possibly underestimating ms.
Microsoft just needs to show up on the game front now. Everything else is pretty much in their favor right now.

I have no proof, but I am 100% positive one of these recent Sony fans who created an account lately is DanielsM. He got banned a few months ago but instead of coming back, he never did. He's a combative guy. No way he bailed ship after a 1 week ban.
As for anyone doing reverse psychology on a game board, maybe. I doubt it though. I don't think anyone would waste time doing that.

There was a lot of info back in the days about how Sony is working closely with AMD on Navi (RDNA1) architecture, so I think it's possible that some time deep into PS5 development RDNA2 showed up, allowing for higher clocks, RT support and what's not, and instead of redesigning the whole console from the ground up they just made quick adjustments that allowed them to benefit from RDNA2 features.
