It wasn't a brain fart, he just thought it was funny to "subtly" refer to a big fucking spoiler about a certain character.
Whether it was malicious or not doesn't matter, he deserves that ban and I hope it stays as a one month ban.

There kind of is something like that for the game. The issue is that even with a spoiler thread people will still post spoilers in other places to ruin the experience of people looking forward to the game. The recent bans prove that theory.

Im not celebrating his ban, and I didn’t report him (I literally can’t report anyone, I lost that function on my account over a year ago) but it wasn’t a brainfart. He even said “joking aside” after posting the spoiler as a “joke” in a different game’s thread. I read the spoiler as well, as it was posted. Glad he edited it but still kinda shitty
Also, I can’t believe SG was PM’ing people the spoiler. Why?
not a bad idea, but in this case there have been at least two threads about TLOU2 leaks already established from the get-go so there really isn’t an excuse for people to keep spilling them everywhere else

This shit is getting ridiculous, people should be able to enter threads that aren't spoiler threads without getting spoilers for a game they're looking forward to . I realize this should go without saying or needing a specific post and it's great people are getting banned for it, but that happens after the fact and the damage is already done for anyone that saw it. Also that way nobody can make the BS claim "Oh I didn't know"

I've created a bareboned sticky in the main gaming forums. The stats tells us stickies aren't read that much but we'll leave it up temporarily nevertheless. We would expect most users to already be aware of spoiler/leak courtesy - and not that of youtube comments or twitter threads.

Happy the leaking BS is being cracked down on and quickly and happy I’ve thus far avoided spoilers as TLOU2 is my most anticipated game in a long while. Guess I’ll be careful of what threads I click and not reading any PMs for a while. I doubt the trolling will stop for a while as anytime something riles up either the SJWs or the anti-SJWs the worst among them try to find ways to make the other side miserable.

knows how much i hate spoilers in general. My point was that KageyK was trying to downplay and dismiss the seriousness of the spoilers because it wasn't an Xbox exclusive but it it were, he would react differently.
