Well this is a bit dissapointing. For some reason i was under the assumption that this was getting a more 'dramatic' remaster. This looks just the same as the PC version maxed out, worse even.

Yeah the game hasnt aged that well. I'll pass on Mafia 2 and 3 "remasters". The screenshots for Mafia 1 looked great and I never finished it when I was young so I'll be playing that.

I absolutely loved this game at the time. But yeah, I second the "it hasn't aged well" sentiment. Even from just that bit of gameplay. Doesn't look like that much of a remaster either. Looks identical to what I remember the PC version looking like on max specs...

Waiting for PC max settings 4K to judge. 19th as far I understand for Mafia 2. If you own it on steam, it should update to remastered edition.

You have to wonder why at least the Pro consoles arent running this at 60fps. Patato pc's of today can run Mafia 2 at 60.

It's barely (if at all) any different visually than original PC version. Personally I won't be buying and replaying this game, I'm more interested in remake of the first game.

Yeah. The first game is getting a full remake and its being developed by Hangar 13 according to Microsoft Store.

Nice Mafia 2 is a fantastic game, if any of you haven't played it I highly recommend it, great story and great characters, I think Daniel Vavra done the writing to this and his a fantastic writer for games.

I might pick this up just to try for the platinum, does getting the platinum seem difficult if anyone as seen the trophy list?
