I somewhat agree with this view, but games (as opposed to music and cinema) live and die by the technology found at the time of release, so it's the medium where remaking makes the most sense, not only commercially but artistically and mechanically too.
We could maybe argue about the artistic legacy of these remakes, but that's another point entirely.

Is a long lore series created by the all mighty Amy Hennig herself (may her games comes to us) and blessed with the music from Kurt Harland from Information Society inspired and with a theme of his best album: Don’t Be Afraid. Which I’m going to spend. The. Rest. Of. The. Day. Listening. His community has the most hardcore recorders and had documented the many secret of the saga in varios fan sites. Remaking Jak and Daxter would be quite weird, on one hand you have the first game, which is basically a open world platformer. On the other, you have Jak 2 which is a scifi GTA copy.
It would be like designing 2 different games at once, unlike Crash or Spyro remakes, as those were quite similar within its trilogies

I was hoping it was Demon's Souls Remake, but it could be interesting. I've never played the Jak series or Legacy of Kain, so if they look like PS5 games (gd beautiful), then I would be so down to try them. But since this is 4Chan, I'm still going to hold out hope that its Demons.
But souls is the best... How could they do better?

So Bluepoint are working on 2 games ? One for Sony, one for another pusblisher (probably Eidos) but that is going to be exclusive for PS5 ? Does is seem likely to you ?

Remaking Demons Souls could be a great idea because you can get away from the whole touch the stone and be transported to the world in favor of an interconnected world like Dark Souls or Bloodborne. I would love to play that game again with updated graphics, controls, and inter connectivity. It would be a completely new game.

Oh boi, totally agree, I'm huge fan of Demon's Souls but I didn't even know I want Legacy of Kain remake. DS is not that old, while LOK is archaic by todays standards and it's really hard to get into - especially cause of constant loading times. Would love to relive it's story in modern remake done right.

I prefer this. Demon Souls was just too good and nostalgic for me. I'm just a sucker for souls/borne games though. I put hundreds of hours into each of them, can put it down for six, months and then replay again and it all still feels fresh, rewarding and fun to me.

I enjoyed the Jak & Daxter games well enough, but I'd definitely rather Ratchet (or some other games) get the extra attention.

Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Nioh have some of the best combat. No wonder devs are jumping on the Dark Souls like combat, it works and people like it.

I wonder if they would redesign Raziel. I always thought his character looked stupid. He is basically a naked guy with leg warmers and a scarf. Huge opportunity to re-invision this world for a generation of gamers that never played the original games.

Demon’s Souls remaster would easily generate more HW sales than LoK.
There’s an entire console generation of Souls fans who have not played Demon’s, especially considering the numbers who flipped from XB to PS this gen.

A legacy of Kain remake would be sweet, I like vampires a lot, but I never got into those games.
This, and they need to improve the gameplay, SM 1 i think was better than SW2, i do not ven SW2 that good, but I remember the serial killers in Shadowman 2, and the OST was really good.
