What was the last movie you watched?

No words, because frankly I still have no idea what it is about. The imagery is so good, though, so it's hard to really care. I feel the same way about it as I do Eraserhead.

Watched the first 45 minutes of High-Rise last night after reading that it was similar to Platform (it’s not). Absolute rubbish, totally disjointed and non-sensical. Googled the director (Ben Wheatley) after and he’s some pretentious po-faced proto-Commie.

Like a lot of folks I was a little puzzled at first, but by the end I was really enjoying myself. Very inventive movie, not going to be for everyone, but I enjoyed it. Try not to spoil yourself before going into it, its a lean 1h36m ... just stick past the first 37m or so even if it seems a little odd.

Great movie, everything felt real and not like a cgi crap fest, characters I was interested in, it was like watching a real movie but it was made in 2019.

Fuck yeah.

Besides I'm total eurotrash so seeing clutches being pulled and gearshifts being actioned gets me all hot and bothered.... OH YESSS 7k RPM UPSHIFT

The Best Offer. You kind of see the twist coming but you are not sure how it will unfold. Very good movie, give it a shot even if it sounds dull to you i promised its very enjoyable.

The second fantastic beast and where to find them movie, a good movie and pretty dark for a harry potter film.

Some forced idiotic retcons and sideplots but i'm interested in the sequels.

Surprisingly decent. Liked it much better that BB2. But damn, Martin Lawrence got fat....

Currently watching 1917. Going in I thought I would love it but more than an hour in I'm somewhat dissapointed. The one shot idea is cool but the story wasn't made for it. Because they can hardly make any time time jumps the continuity is totally off (empty landscape suddently filled with loads of soldiers a minute later). Not really feeling it.

Seen it many years ago, but fancied watching it again as it was on Prime.

Al Pacino probably plays the greatest version of Lucifer put to film. Amazing performance.

Has anybody seen Richard Jewel?

Never seen it, but it looks like an incredibly well crafted film about the man’s story based off Clint’s trailer

Justice league dark apokalips war is the last thing I've seen. I was honestly disappointed by it. The visuals looked bad sometimes and you can easily see where they focused the art. Mostly just found it boring. I also bought promare as well but I haven't watched it yet. I regret buying both since I was planning on quitting buying movies

Gemini Man with Will Smith (and Will Smith :pie_unamused: )

Most scenes I thought it would be better if they just took Fresh Prince of Bel Air footage and just spliced in instead of the GC that they had.
