COD: WW2 part of free PS+ games for June, will be available tomorrow (May 26th)

PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: WWII as part of their subscription, starting on May 26. It’s the only title that Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced as part of next month’s PS Plus lineup, but the company said on Twitter it will share additional details of its June lineup later this week.

Nice. I never played this one.

Willing to give the campaign a playthrough, but I resigned from COD MP years ago. The gameplay’s design premise hasn’t changed at all in over a decade.

Quite an offering for PS+ but still difficult to stomach given the value exercise, especially knowing there’s far better offerings on both Xbox and PC.

Lupin3

Targeting terrorists with a D-Pad
Compared to MW2 not even the same league.
It's like comparing RC Pro Am NES to Mario Kart 8 Switch

I'm not comparing it to anything. I just used to enjoy it a lot before I moved on to MW2k19. And see what free did to the shitshow that is Gears 5.

Paying for PS+

There are better services elsewhere, particularly after PS+ shuttered PS3 offerings. Your dollar goes much further elsewhere, Switch excluded.

Nonsense. PS+ true "value" is online access, the free games are there just so you can eat a shit sandwish and smile while doing it. Same for Xbox live, and Switch Online well you know whats up there.

On PC it's free, so yes it's much better that.

I’m not sure on what basis you would think they’re different

?????

PS+ isn't PSNow man.

It’s an online service where you a pay a subscription and get access to games. There are logistical differences but the fundamental exercise is exact.

We have to thank farm simulator and the outrage for that addition. Last year this, crash and spyro were part of humble choice, I expect those games to drop on ps+ too

Sony doesn't care about fans, typically when this kind of game is added to the "free"(we pay for these rentals in the price of plus) it's for promotional purposes. There is likely a COD announcement event June and they want people to talk about COD more and be a little more familiar with it, perhaps a COD that is based on Vietnam or a similar war(Korea?).

Never played it so yay for me, YAY FOR ME.

Fuck Farming Simulator

I came here to defend Farming Simulator! It is GOOD!

Edit: Sony should allow all PS+ subscribers to access whatever games have been given so far and not only those after you subscribed. That would be like what MS is offering.

There hasn't been a single PS+ game I care about...what is my money going into exactly?

one of the worst, if not THE WORST Call of Duty games ever made.

I can't put into words how bad the map design is and how absolutely boring the aesthetics are
