I agree with this post really hard. I don't think it should be mandated by the mods that ERA can't ever be discussed, and I admit I even participate in it a little too much because I really hate the style of moderation that goes on over there, but soooo many posts here come down to "ERA's opinion on this is shit" which isn't really productive discussion. I would much rather hear the opinions of people on here that can actually participate in the discussion.

I'm really conflicted about this postponement. Like I support the protests in general, but I am a little confused as to how not having an event is going to help anything. All they had to do was have a minute-long pre-recorded statement regarding the protests and their stance on them and then they would've used their platform to aid the BLM/racist police force cause way more than by not having the event IMO.
