Some of you guys are way too into videogames. There is rioting going on and the us is essentially melting down and the first priority is to get mad that a video game dlc gets delayed? Maybe it's more than companies trying to be 'woke' such as not wanting to release their game with so many troubling events going on and risk getting lost in the headlines.

I think it comes off as disingenuous given it's content like this that's delayed and the message isn't really a good one especially when there's a virus still around and it's a Call of Duty Season pack. Not to mention, the need to delay it worldwide seems a bit ridiculous. People can still be aware of a situation while going about their own daily life or taking a break from the negativity. Also, the company is simply doing it because of PR, there's nothing more to it.

I wonder where this ends, what other things do we postpone video game stuff for? Do we do it again when the Covid-19 deaths have hit a certain milestone for example? I presume the big Sega announcement will also not happen this week as well. After all, everyone these days are sheep that just copy each other so that their social standing looks correct.

Its very much like Pride. These companies posting jpeg's of rainbows etc is nothing more than the brand being seen as being inclusive and progressive, its another form of marketing. Personally if I were gay, I would be dubious of their intentions and sincerity.
