AMA about One Piece

How far does the penis stretch?

Oda confirmed that his dick is stretchy, and Luffy can blow air into his bones to turn gigantic:

So I'm sure he can blow into his boner as well. It's his gomu gomu no gigant chinpo.

Cutty Flam Cutty Flam Have you watched any of the extra shit in the series? Some of those ova's are pretty fun like the soccer one.
Oh man I forgot about that soccer / football game. The one in the
Davey Back (Fight / Challenge) Games?

I’m still not entirely clear on what OVA are in anime but I’ve seen Heart of Gold the movie. I actually watched that movie on accident, thinking it was the very first episode of One Piece LMAO. My first experience of One Piece, was Heart of Gold because I went onto KissAnime and accidentally clicked on it thinking it was episode 1

I was watching for like an hour and a half and was like holy, fuuuuuuck mannn, I think I watched the first three episodes but they just didn’t categorize anything. I find out it was a movie when I discuss it with the friend who told me about One Piece. He was like yeah, what did you think about this when ____ happened? That happened to me in a few anime actually, where I fucked up big time and watched something that wasn’t even the first episode

That’s why I decided to tattoo on my forehead in abnormally large bold block lettering the words “Weeb Sauce”

What about you man? Anything good to check out with the OVAs in your opinion? I plan on watching all the movies eventually

lmaoooooooooooooooo. OVA = original video animation. For a long running series like OP they're just extra non canon side things. I think they're all like 5-45 mins.

The soccer one I linked is fun.

brap brap lol Coby getting massacred every single goal

We need more One Piece fans. There seems to be a very small number of fans here at GAF, which is actually kind of surprising....Maybe I should make an OT for it and see just how many there really are

I LOVE the manga, but i CANNOT watch the anime. I have totally given up. I'll watch specials and movies, but week to week gtfo.

I tried starting it but I can't fucking do it. The anime just draaaaaags and the filler is so apparent.

Always felt that Black Beard is the strongest since his fight against Ace and the Whitebeard-Shanks meeting. Can't really explain why, subtle signs put here and there by Oda. Not sure if he is a villain towards Luffy, he seems to actually like him genuinely.

wholecake island spoilers inside:

when pudding was trying her wedding dress with tamago and brook and pedro were spying on her, she said she had to go somewhere urgently and couldn't try it now.

Since then we knew she wasn't actually planning to go meet the strawhats at the seducing woods at all, so where did she need to go so urgently?

Careful with the spoilers, you should tag those juicy pups in their appropriate tags

I like you post a ton though. I was reflecting deeply on it. I do think you are on to something. Whitebeard himself said that Teach is not the one Roger is waiting for. He is not destined to reach such heights according to Whitebeard. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to be a major factor in the New World at some point. I think he’s the most dangerous as well. There was a very, very interesting bit in the manga about Teach several chapters back. Buggy actually mentioned Teach. Buggy seemed to notice something that nobody else did about Teach. And I was shocked. It was a highly alarming observation on Buggy’s part. Very sharp of him to notice, and it shows a lot for his character. But what is even more alarming is what he noticed of Teach. Something is truly wrong with Blackbeard, he’s not normal. And I think despite how he is acting, there is something very unsettling that we will find out, eventually, about him towards the end of One Piece

The manga is outstanding. The anime brings everything full force for me. The OST is gorgeous. Playful, eloquent, emotional, fierce, strong, goofy, mysterious, uplifting, awe-inspiring, so many different things it’s simply breathtaking. I listen to it every month. Its range is perfect. So many wonderful tracks. I find it to be the ultimate binding force. The One Piece OST really binds everything together perfectly when the right track at the right time is introduced. I love it. I listen in English Sub in Japanese. Personally I think the VA are incredible. But the pace, I can understand how some will come to reject it for that reason

But to me, the anime is overall a masterpiece through and through

Has Blackbeard really even done anything bad yet?
Several things imo

-Betrayed Whitebeard
-Killed Whitebeard’s son, Thatch
-Killed Thatch who is brother to many
-Stole Thatch’s Devil Fruit
-Freed infamous and ruthless prisoners from Impel Down to fortify his team
-Kills others for Devil Fruits that he can and will steal, somehow...
-Does not fight his own battles and will use any means to kill a man in his way (with that, we cannot even say for sure he defeated Ace in a true man’s 1v1 fight)

Very good so far. The pacing in the first 5 episodes have been remarkable. Time flies and I've not been bored once as usually when it comes to giving animes a chance. Definitely thinking and curious along the way about the statement fight that you mentioned which is what piqued intererst (and that we're both looking forward to RE8 Village and Paper Mario if that makes sense). It also managed to tug on my dead heart this early with the backstory of how Luffy got his hat and who it originally belonged to. That is a testament to its quality.

At this rate it will not feel like a chore at all to reach the ep 25 mark. Around then my next "goal" is to see if you are correct with saying that most parts are great in their own way. Needless to say you have made a new viewer.

One Piece is about Pirates, right?
Does it feature any of the following:

- Rum
- Parrots
- Walking the plank
- Cannons
- Wooden legs
- Sharks
- Hooks for hands
- Eye patches

I had a quick look on Google images but couldn't see any?
I'm only a few episodes in after the recommendation of this thread and it does feature several of these things already, despite being quite unconventionally pirate at the same time. Give it a shot if you are interested since it only takes from even just the first episode to figure out if it's for you or not. Or the manga if prefered.

He’s not showing any sign of distraction from his goal. There was one moment when Luffy,
Sanji, and Usopp all saw Mr. 2 Bon Clay Swan turn into naked Nami, revealing her breasts and Luffy had a major reaction along with the other two. So there is at least one instance where we have a reason to maybe believe Luffy does at the very least get a reaction from naked women (or maybe he was just amazed at Mr. 2’s ability lol) but yeah, his eyes are dead set on the goal and nothing can bother him in his pursuit. His belief in himself is 100% and even with the finest woman in the entire anime, he has not shown a single sign of wanting her. Luffy seems to not focus on women at all in that regard

I was more referring to Ace having more blood related siblings rather than Luffy messing around.

I've been thinking about this for awhile but I would love for a prequel but with Garp as the main character. You get the navy point of view and you get to see all of the powerhouses in their prime.

Crunchyroll should be a popular and easy alternative, since it can be watched free or with premium in better quality. Also exists as an app on various platforms like PS4.

Blackboard killing him and stealing it was just him being a pirate. He captured Ace, but wasn't Ace the one hunting Blackbeard? And Blackbeard killing Whitebeard was fair game, he was a Shichubukai in a war against Whitebeard.

Luff freed way more murderous prisoners from Impel Down. And if we say he doesn't fight his own fights (not sure i agree), I'd again just say he is being crafty as a pirate should

He did a number on the Whitebeard crew. But they are just another crew, its not like they are the main cast. I just don't see anything he did as that sort of big bad of the story villain level, when we've had guys running slave operations on entire cities.

Right on, I'm glad you're enjoying it on some level. East Blue was always fun and everything happens so rapidly. Before you know it, you're already finished with the first 6 arcs that take place there (I think six including the filler arc that takes place there too, I think....)

If you're on Episode 5 about, then you're not too far from meeting one of my favorite characters in the entire show. Lol my friend hated him when we started watching at first (this friend always will start whatever anime I'm currently watching because he's a die hard anime fan and loves talking about them with others) but even though he disliked the character, I started calling him by that character's name haha. It actually stuck, and a bunch of our friends started calling him by that name as well lol. And now everybody calls him that shit looooooolllll. So fucking funny. But yeah, I love the next member to join the crew; the next official nakama who becomes a Straw Hat or Mugiwara Pirate. The arc that the fight takes place is 10/10. It's a perfect arc for the beginning. And the arc right after is outstanding. It all happens so quickly. The arc that the legendary fight takes place in, is just perfect to me. I love every moment of it, especially these two characters that sort of tag along on the side. Miss them a lot; wish we could see them again soon....

Those two games are going to turn me into a fucking beast. I've been loving Resident Evil lately. I've been playing the games nonstop since 2015. Just all the time, year-round I always take my time and immerse. I cannot wait to finish the one I'm currently playing. Then I'm going to set my sights to RE2 REmake. But i will wait until the new consoles come out to play it. Going to go RE2 REmake, RE3 REmake, RE7, and then I'm going RE8. I picked the perfect time to get back into it. I've been a fan since REmake, picked up the pace some as RE4 inspired me and RE5 was a great game and a lot of fun, but 2015 was the year I really started getting heavy into the oldschool portion of the series and Resident Evil: Revelations series. Could not speak any higher about those games; they're something else

And when it comes to Paper Mario. Don't even get me started. I'll talk about those games longer than even a candle will last. I'll be just like that Tortus Granny in Majora's Mask at the Stock Pot Inn pretty much if we're talking Paper Mario series

I'm a big time fan of Shanks as well. Luffy is right to want to follow him. Stand up guy to the fullest

That would be very interesting. And that's actually a multi-million dollar idea, you should write to Oda about that. A prequel like that would provide so much insight and additional lore to add on to the already indredibly vast amount that we know in OP at this point in time

The thing I love about the manga is that it moves FAST. Nothing drags, like even long arcs so much happens chapter to chapter. And the anime loses that.

But I agree with the OST. It's phenomenal.

The anime is 10/10 work. One day I am going to collect every volume of One Piece, every DVD and watch the entire series again. Read as well. I plan to get artwork done also, pay a friend to complete a few projects with me that I have in mind

The manga is perfection though. Manga + Anime for One Piece is like the most satisfying 1-2 punch. Reading and then watching it go down is amazing. I used to daydream about getting caught up just so I can savor the week by week progression into the series. But to get back to what you were saying, I'm in full agreement. The manga is succinct as a it gets. I love seeing what others have to say and discuss when they read the current chapter. One pf the main reasons I tried so actively to catch up to current this past year, is because i have had this hardcore yearning to delve into the lore and countless theories that One Piece fans will discuss. It's like a nonstop goldmine just thinking about the possibilities and learning about these characters and anticipating what will happen. Figuring out the mysteries that have yet to be pieced together. Very fun stuff

Can't get enough of the soundtrack btw. It's a weekly thing. So much in there for the fans. And these movies that come out every
couple years usually bring one or two immaculate tracks for the anime to use as well. There was one used for Whole Cake Island that was from a One Piece movie that just blew my mind. It pumps me up hardcore while inspires me. And the ways in which they have used it so far in the anime (I can name two occasions so far) have been perfect. Utilized perfectly. The OST is phenomenal, could not agree more with you there

I'll put this in spoilers

To be fair, Thatch was probably never even thinking about the possibility of betrayal within the family / crew. With somebody like Whitebeard being the leader, I'm pretty sure you just assume he's not fucking up with who he lets in. That was the only major mistake; letting Teach tag along. Who knows what else he did to undermine the crew over the years? If he committed that crime, he must have been formed his opinion well before the act. Blackbeard has plans but nobody knows exactly what they are. He's a very strange villain. He's not the most ruthless pirate or even successful, but there's something to his character that doesn't sit right

Blackbeard is not the most heinous pirate but he's the most ruthless. He's responsible for three deaths now, probably four just recently. His ascension to power is becoming worrisome. He's not entirely the worst Yonko yet, but he has the potential to be if hunger to fortify his crew with DF continues. He's a madman, and his crew is so bloodthirsty and quick to attack it's just ridiculous. Blackbeard is pretty high up there when you think about it. He' not ruining countries like some, but wiping out key pirates and challenging key pirates that will or might have played a part in something unimaginably important coming up--the next 3-5 arcs are going to be of untold importance I feel[/spolier]

Another thing I LOVE about the manga is how collaborative Oda is with fans. He draws what they want to see, he takes their ideas and theories, incorporates them, expands them. SBS makes buying the volumes as they come out so worth it. Like if you are reading the manga digitally or via Jump, its totally worth it to buy the tankoban.

Not sure if Viz has something similar but at times he has answered international questions too.

It keeps getting better and better, filled with many cool details and scenes that keeps surprising. Very reminiscent of JoJo with the somewhat different visual style, funny dialogue and scenarios, with the essential action to drive the story forward and not making it feel meaningless. Having just finished EP8, I would guess your friend is either Buggy the Clown or this guy with an elongated nose which has not been named yet? Round nose and long nose coincidentally. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Regarding the games, recently have had many a discussion in other threads, so I don't have much to add for now, but absolutely they are fantastic franchises both. Paper Mario in its charm and Resident Evil in how fun and bizarre -- meme potential -- it can be despite the darkness and horror. That's why I saw some kind trinity (or connection) between these and decided to give One Piece a chance. Did you ever rank the different arcs? No way can it uphold this kind of quality all the way I'm thinking but seem to recall that you regarded the current Wano Kuni as potentially one of the best?

Onwards to #9.

Was the Yami Yami no Mi even known to be strong by most people, and would Thatch have known what DF it was? The series has been pretty clear that knowledge of specific DFs is rare (Blackbeard had access to a very rare book on them) and most people do not know what they will get from the DF.

I take how Blackbeard has used the YYnM as another parallel and juxtaposition to Luffy - he took a DF which, for a Logia, has a severe disadvantage and figured out a way to use it creatively to compensate for that weakness. While not necessarily useless, absorbing and amping damage is a massive flaw, much like how the Gomu Gomu no Mi is almost useless without the drive, dedication, and creativity to master it by most DF user standards from the get go. And it may be that only Blackbeard (or someone with a similar "weird body") can use the YYnM to steal other DF powers anyway so he gets to use it to "cheat" the system just like he had done all the way to bring a Yonko.

It’s impressive how the story keeps climbing steadily higher and more exciting. It obviously, like any story, cannot 100% shoot up and climb higher and higher without fail. There will be dips. Little dips at times or even arcs depending on who you ask. But imo, there has only been a couple to few times where I could say yeah I wish it were a little bit more ____ and what every I was hoping for. But for the most part, imo, the anime and manga are of very high quality and consistency when it comes to amping up the intensity, what’s at stake, and moving the story along and what happens with all the characters, the world, all these things

I have the arcs all ranked. But I might have to go back and tweak it according to what I think each deserves. I did that once before. I should probably do it again all according to my personal taste and also the arc standard(s) that I would grade by. It’s all difficult to weigh because so much happens in every arc. But if you wanted to see the ratings I created for each, I could look over it again, revise and would be glad to reveal my aggregate scorings of each story arc. It wouldn’t be an issue at all if some wanted to see. I could just cut out the spoilers attached to the pages

And yeah, episode 9 you will definitely know him hahaha. I love that dude. I think most fans probably do. The type you can’t help but love. My friend hated him at first and then I started calling him by his name and then I know he grew to love him haha. Captain
Usopp
is a fucking beast!

Wano Kuni has without question, everything to become the best arc. We just have to see how it plays out. Right now, it’s doing so beautifully

Fushitsusha Fushitsusha another thing about One Piece is there are times when things get rolling and they plot everything out. But it doesn't come until way, way later when things start to get complicated from arc to arc. I wish there was something for the fans to see like that early on. The first time it ever happened that I can recall, is during my favorite arc in the series. But when it happened, I was amazed. It's like a preparation sort of thing. Haven't seen anything like except in HxH there was one time something similar happened. But in One Piece it's just like on a completely different plane they way it takes place

in the anime they have at least passed the halfway point they know the final destination but not worked out how to get there yet it's gonna easily be another 10 years. Onepiece is pretty much the whole wonder of unlimited adventure it's taken me to some amazing places & shown even more amazing stories & characters it's in my top 5 all time greats and it's still not even done. There are points in the story that are so good that the emotion flows
saying goodbye to merry totally destroyed me, thats how good is, Oda made me fucking cry my eyes out over a boat

Covid genuinely scares me as luffys VA is really old and if she goes it's gonna be tough to replace her as luffys voice is very unique in fact all the voice actors & Oda need to be shipped away to a sterile covid free dome on an island to finish this off. We lost one VA for onepiece but thankfully the replacement did an amazing job at replicating the voice of Borsailino another very unique sounding voice.

Usopp is so annoying :messenger_tears_of_joy:. But he's loveable still, with a heart of gold. I really hope and expect that he will get a princess of his own soon or in the future. Rooting for the fella. Captain Kuro/Butler Klahadore? Daaaaaaamn, that guy fooled and convinced completely, only managed to figure it out a few seconds from the reveal during the conversation with Hypnotist Jango on the shoreline "Noooo waaaay? Can it be?" . His strange mannerism with the glasses for example being explained, was really neat, smaller details and foreshadowing like that constantly and everywhere. Back and forth one wonder how the team will overcome these ordeals, but somehow it all makes sense. Yeah, it's undestandable existing dips here and there, if it's not much work your ratings and stuff for the different arcs would be great for this thread and a shining beacon of understanding the vast sea of One Piece content further.
This show is dope. Hooks you in right from the get-go, a minor miracle for anime and media in general. Putting in a few more episodes in the upcoming hours under the midnight sun.
Yes, usually don't care much about this, but the voice acting is noticeably outstanding. Zoro sounds like a badass.

Edit: Ep 17 ending - the feels. Very well done how it explains everything in the end, no matter how nonsensical it might seem at first. The reason why he lied all the time and acting like a screaming nutcase.

Why has no character in a manga about pirates had an eye patch?
Interesting. I could have sworn there was at least one character with an eye patch but I’m wrong; there isn’t one yet. I read from a fan that Oda plans to have one later in the story? I can’t confirm if that’s true or not though,
I never thought death, taxes and the Winrar license would ever welcome another member in their holy trinity, but here we are.

Seriously, though, when is it ending? Feels like the Game Of Thrones of ANIME at this point.

A few years ago I want to say, Oda mentioned the anime is 60% there. And recently I think there has been an interview where he relays where we are currently. If what I read is correct, we’re actually pretty close. Pretty close being 5-6 years left, my best guess Yohohohohohoho!!!!!!!!! Oda decides the pace though. He once said it was 60% done in 2012 I think, and then 65% in 2016 lol. But I think recently, Oda said the manga is 85% finished. So Wano Kuni is likely the last arc before things really start to sky rocket to the outer limit of what Oda is capable of. We've all been wondering for decades what he has in store, his ending could not have been more elusive and mysterious even up until now. We know very little of what is about to happen, but this arc now, Wano Country or Wano Kuni, is the apex of the anime, the pinnacle. The turning point is here, I think it is accurate to say. Things have been happening so turbulently in the anime. A month or two back, there was a chapter that got my heart rate up significantly because of all that was thrown out at us. I was thinking, "Fuck, it's really all starting. This is going to be legendary. This is the turning point. We're now starting the endgame and shits about to get real"

I expect the manga will be one hell of a ride for the next three to four years. I think it will end in six years maximum. It depends on what Oda wants to focus on. I know he has it all mapped out well (I think I know how he managed to make this series so incredible, in part at least, I think I have an idea) but he may put emphasis on certain things and add as he goes along. I'm Super excited. And cannot wait for each chapter weekly / bi-weekly (there are frequent breaks)
in the anime they have at least passed the halfway point they know the final destination but not worked out how to get there yet it's gonna easily be another 10 years.

Same here, this has been the most epic journey. I never want it to end so soon. Even the possibility of it ending in 3-6 years (I’m guessing 6 years from now) seems alarmingly soon for me. But at the same, Oda-sensei deserves to live like a King after all that he's given and his admirable work ethic and creativity. I hope he is well and has lots of great assistance to make his work fun. I know a lot of mangaka deal with a lot of pain from this line of work. And it makes sense, it's constant looking down. It's very taxing work. Extremely tough on the spine and the nerves and musculature as well. Sitting all day is a nightmare

I'm wondering how does anyone even approach a fight with Blackbeard? His crew is willing to protect him at a fraction of a second unless he insists on a 1v1. They're all extremely vile and strong pirates. Blackbeard himself has overwhelming advantages given his DFs. He might even be acquiring another one / one of the most substantial in the entire anime/manga, on top of what he already possesses. I honestly think Shanks is going to get killed by Blackbeard within the next two to three years. So if Shanks loses, only Luffy will remain to challenge him. But how does Luffy win?

Usopp-dono for life crew. If I ever graffiti the White House, it'll be a mural of USOPP

Everybody say it with me, "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSOPP"

There needs to be streets, roads, and cities named after that man. The next discovered celestial body / planet tbh. No lie, I think Usopp is going to have a very direct role with "the One Piece" ......Just a wild hunch I've had for years

I love Syrup Village and what goes down there. I love Usopp's beginnings overall. Really love his girlfriend and her story as well. My friend used to clown on him so hard for playing with a bunch of kids lmfao, I almost forgot about those three I think it was. Funny as fuck how he would just have jab after jab with Usopp. Brilliant how he BECAME Usopp looooollllll. I'm so glad Luffy took him aboard. Was a glorious day when CAPTAIN USOPP became one of the crew. Fucking Usopp the Great...what a beast

I hope you enjoy the next arc. It's one of the most beautiful arcs in the entire anime imo. 10/10 in an understatement for me and how highly I hold it. It of course takes place very early, but it's classic and I wont go into much more detail but I just love it. It should be very entertaining these next several episodes if you enjoyed the Syrup Village arc

Syrup Village
Syrup Village huh? Lovely little name, don't think it was ever mentioned in the anime. Very curious to see how this will play out. Don Krieg does not seem to be exactly what you described, yet I did not expect someone else that is seemingly much stronger appear so soon! Crazy development.

That episode is straight fucking fire. Just watched a clip, I love the entire episode but this little detail is pretty cool. Love how Zoro assesses the situation and instantly thinks to worry about the weaker ones and realizes Luffy's / His crew are in danger and sprints towards them

At 1:52 is the scene described up there ^^^

One tip anyone should follow when reading or watching One Piece is, on youtube videos, don't ever read the comments. SPOILER CITY to the max

Me and my friend at work learned the hard way half a dozen to perhaps a dozen times. The comment section is just a no go if you want to preserve the story and not ruin anything significant. I ruined one aspect of the story that I really wish I hadn't. The poster with the comment almost hid it well too....but the hint was just enough for me to have an idea and eventually know. Watch out for youtube videos with their comments

Yosaku and Johnny....THAT'S their names

Love those two dudes. I think they were Zoro's peers in training as swordsmen iirc. But those are the two characters I really miss that I was referring to a while back in this thread

Yes. Syrup Village is Usopp's hometown. I always remembered thanks to The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages (GBC) lol. I always remembered the witch that Link would run into randomly and drop all those interesting items in the collision. Always equated her with Usopp's hometown. Just so I remember, Usopp's girl is Kaya....Got it. I can't wait for the day Usopp is able to come back to her with all his tales and accomplishments and she, a learned doctor who can help Usopp when he returns home after the legendary voyage and adventures have finally come to an end

Man, I'm getting way too hyped right now. Might have to log off for a while. Fucking Usoppville, USA that's my hometown

So he said. Question for the AMA:

Did Kuina commit suicide? Sorry for the perhaps morbid question, but that explanation seemed very off.

I don't think so. She fell down some steps and that is what killed her. We don't know anything besides that, but I think it was a very unfortunate accident. A very horrible accident. She was incredibly strong, even stronger than Zoro. Sharper, more honed, more intelligent, and tougher than Zoro. I know she would not kill herself because of one lapse of confidence. Just one momentary slip where she doubts if her goals can be achieved because of what the world will say. Zoro believed in her vehemently and made her promise. She as an honorable samurai with much potential. There's no way she committed suicide. She could have done so with her sword. I think Kuina must have suffered severe head trauma and upon falling. She was very young and an amazing kid. She wouldn't give up like that. Especially not immediately promising Roronoa the night before. He helped her see. That was a little bro to her for her to live with. I know she wouldn't leave him like that

Finished East Blue. How is Alabasta considered?
Wow, nice, you've really been chipping away decently since you started. And it's been like 10 days. I'm impressed with the pace. What did you think overall?

Alabasta saga is vast, very extensive. And a lot of enemies. A ton of ground covered regarding territory. The stakes are very high. It's next level for sure of what you've seen previously. It's so much more. And you'll be seeing something you've never seen before in previous episodes. Maybe even something you haven't even heard of yet, it might not been spoken on yet. Actually yeah, where you're at, they haven't brought it up. But there is an incredibly powerful foe. Something known as "Shichibukai"
A Warlord of the Sea. In Japanese, I think it has a slightly different definition, but I wouldn't worry about it too much until you know exactly what they're up against. Plus, me giving the official definition, that I'm aware of, will spoil only a little detail, but it would be a spoiler nonetheless

This was my first experience with such an extensive series of arcs, a saga. I had watched HxH before, which had one very long arc but it wasn't until One Piece that I learned how to better enjoy the anime, through my mistakes. I would say, take your time, enjoy the characters along the way, because there are some very relevant ones, and many so, that will be introduced all throughout this saga. I wish I had taken more time to sort of let it all soak, and learn the areas a it better, read episode summaries after I had watched. Because there is a lot thrown at you, but it 's all very good and fun the same. I liked this saga more AFTER I had finished it, like years after because I had realized how well conceived it was despite me being a noob the first time and sort of rushing through. Personally, I didn't learn my lesson until the third saga in One Piece, and learned to trust Oda fully and his creative process

Alabasta is excellent, just know that is a long-haul. So it's best to sit back, enjoy the show as it goes because you're definitely in once it's really starts to pick up and build steam. In its entirety, Alabasta saga is 69 episode in total. Five story arcs make up the Alabasta saga. And like I said before, I would definitely say that this is a major step up from what the Straw Hats are used to. It's a great saga and overall, I would say it's an extremely fun and memorable journey. Yeah, thinking back, it's very fun. There were some moments that were so good. My best advice in order to fully get the most out of the experience, and I really stress this, is to be patient. Be very patient when an episode or so might be kind of 'boring' to you. Things almost always pick up and come back around in One Piece

Fushitsusha Fushitsusha where have you left off in the anime? Episode 61 you've finished up to? One particularly interesting stop in the Grand Line happens very early in the Alabasta saga. It's one of my favorite arcs in the entire anime of One Piece. It's really brief, but I was captivated 100% throughout the entire bit of it. It's very soon into the saga. Also extremely interested in hearing your thoughts about
Zoro vs. Mihawk on episode 24 I think it was
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. One of my top 10 favorite characters in the entire manga/anime is introduced in Alabasta saga. I was so excited when I had finally gotten there (accidentally spoiled something so I sort of had an idea in mind)

brap brap man I need to get you back on board with this anime. There's no way you can miss out on the last 4 major sagas we've all witnessed. Need you to continue the climb homey it's worth it. What are the chances you think you'll one day pick back up? I promise dude, there are some insane moments in the arc you've left off on

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

edit: sorry had to remove a video due to spoilers on the thumbnail. It was the OST

Idk. I watched an episode of it recently and didn't really care to much to get back in it. Dressrosa being over 100 eps makes me want to fucking die.

Also I'm gonna need everybody in here to go to 2:26 to hear Don Krieg's voice

Dammit no! Well, maybe it wasn't meant to be. I'm telling you though, don't underestimate Dressrosa. It's a long burn, the longest, but it's all worth it. I love that arc. I want to speak on it a lot more, but there are just too many fans that are new to the series and I don't want to ruin anything. Even if I use spoiler tags, I don't want to ruin a thing from that arc for anybody by any chance there might be for it

Lmao! I wish I was given the location of the studio they recorded that episode in. Would have called up the entire 2000 Royal Rumble and showed them what happens when you disgrace a godly work with shit VA. I hope to God those fools weren't paid a cent for any of that, and did it strictly as a fan project or some shit. If they actually got paid, holy fuck. Would need to gomu gomu no bazooka the casting manager to a different continent just to get some peace of mind
