Dammit no! Well, maybe it wasn't meant to be. I'm telling you though, don't underestimate Dressrosa. It's a long burn, the longest, but it's all worth it. I love that arc. I want to speak on it a lot more, but there are just too many fans that are new to the series and I don't want to ruin anything. Even if I use spoiler tags, I don't want to ruin a thing from that arc for anybody by any chance there might be for it
Are you talking about sabo coming back? I already know that because of games and stuff. Not a big reveal to me.

Lmao! I wish I was given the location of the studio they recorded that episode in. Would have called up the entire 2000 Royal Rumble and showed them what happens when you disgrace a godly work with shit VA. I hope to God those fools weren't paid a cent for any of that, and did it strictly as a fan project or some shit. If they actually got paid, holy fuck. Would need to gomu gomu no bazooka the casting manager to a different continent just to get some peace of mind
lmaoooooooooooooooooo. It's the official Singaporean dub. Lots of those asian english dubs sound awful like that.

Dressrosa is a hundred fucking episodes? Fuck that.
I think it's 118.

I think it's 118.

Bruh, Doflamingo isn't in my top 5 of favorite villains, I found those volumes of the New World volumes to drag. I wasn't really into the tontattas, though I did think the dynamic between Kyros and Rebecca was really interesting. I couldn't deal with this for 118 episodes when half the Straw Hats aren't even there.

Don't tell me this is some fishman island shit where half the fucking arc is just about a bunch of random ass characters.
There's a reason they have to split up and part of the crew rolls out of the island on the Sunny while the rest wait and fight.

But yeah, there is a LOT of shit with randoms and I HATE fucking whenever the series focuses on Usopp, even for a little bit.

However Franky has some awesome shit in the arc.

Let me guess Robin does absolutely fuck all like usual?

brap brap , I made the spoilers suitable for you to read. It wont give anything away in the actual arc, I play around giving any substantial detail. It’s more or less a little of what you can expect in Dressrosa. Only a small glimpse / a vague, blurry window to see a glimpse of what to expect. Not in full either. Dressrosa is too complicated to explain with any brevity; there’s plenty going on in the arc

It’s more than just that. Dressrosa arc is essentially the arc in which the tidal wave is building, and building, and growing higher and higher by the second if we’re talking about the grand scheme of the actual story of One Piece. In Dressrosa, and the following two major arcs afterward, the story rapidly begins to piece together certain things and really shows just what the Straw Hats are capable of as a crew. When they are separated, and when they are at their weakest, in face of unparalleled dangerous situation simultaneously. Dressrosa, a lot happens there. It’s the greatest arc in terms of major conflict coming from all sides and directions besides obviously the Paramount War which took place at Marineford

The crazy part about Dressrosa, is that many of the characters matter + there are a ton of them and you will see how that goes later on in various ways; how things connect and sort of make sense

How can you not think Doflamingo was not a top 5 villain?
There’s no way. Did you read or watch? Because in the anime, his voice actor made all the difference. Everything is heightened I would imagine compared to the manga thanks to the stellar job his VA did. I would argue he’s the greatest
foe
in the anime, and only in recent years have better ones been introduced. But he was definitely top of the food chain when talking about the Shichibukai. Maybe not the highest but for what we knew then, he was there and seemingly unstoppable. Only the Straw Hats could have done what was presented in front of them I think, of pirate crews in the
Worst Generation / 11 Supernovas and their crews

I heard stuff like that before but idk. Just burnt out of OP. Then I hear punk hazard isn't that good. I'll probably get back to it in like a month or two. When I quit right before thriller bark it took me like 5 years to get back into it lol.

I think me and Cutty Flam are anime soulmates, One piece has been my jam since it came out, I let it build up from time to time as I'm too impatient to go episode by episode but it's the one anime I indulge in as I've bought and built all the model ships from the show and sport a big straw hat flag.

I'm ride or die for One Piece!

I just found him to be really, really boring.
i didn't like his underlings, even if I own a Baby 5 fig, his backstory as a celestial dragon did nothing for me. I thought the string cage was kinda convoluted and visually it just wasn;t as fun a fight as previous fights. He just seemed really generically evil and boring in a way other villains weren't. I like the stuff with Law and Corazon, I like the stuff with Rebecca, I enjoyed the early coliseum stuff, but once it became straw hats and people vs Doflamingo, it became a chore to get through. And "God" Usopp makes me want to vomit.

However, that arc does setup some of my absolute favorite moments in One Piece in the next couple arcs, so it wasn't a waste and I think had it been shorter I wouldn't dislike it so much.

Breaks are necessary too. I actually took a decent break from Once Piece as well. I think I finished Fishman Island and then that’s when I started watching a bunch of JoJo. Yeah now I remember. It was after Fishman Island for me. I was hesitant because I didn’t think JJBA would be all that good but my friends told me to watch it. Turned out to be another work of art I simply could not get enough of. Watched Part 1-4 and maybe got a few episodes of One Piece in during...No wait, I think I actually might have taken my time with the Post War arc while I was watching JJBA and after JoJo Part 4 I went full throttle with One Piece again as my main focus into Return to Sabaody arc. That was it. Sorry for that, wanted to make sure I recalled correctly and traced what I was up to back then. Once the ball got rolling a bit and the SH Pirates embarked to their next destination, I was fully immersed. I have enjoyed literally all but one arc since the
Time Skip
Every single major arc has been right up my alley. But I love this anime and nothing about it bothers me much, if at all that I can think of on the spot. I just sincerely love One Piece and even I guess things most would consider flaws within anime. I have almost no complaints. I’m about to post all the arcs that have been completed and my rankings of them. I put some thought into each one, but they’re roughly how I feel about each arc. If I were to grade each arc based on categories it would be different, but I mostly though overall and put down a rating I felt was accurate for how I felt about the arc at the time and it also represents my current thoughts toward them. The scores reflect accurately as to how I would talk about each arc

Punk Hazard is....I have the toughest time explaining this one. Personally, I love the territory. The island itself features interesting natural phenomena and its history is fascinating at times. There's some pretty cool shit that takes place. Sparingly though...There are many memorable moments in that arc for me personally. In fact, there are some unbelievably strong moments I felt in that arc. But there are two things that more or less were not a bullseye or even close is how I should say it. The dart hits board, it’s not a miss or anything, but the ‘epic’ factor is not on its strongest levels compared to some of the other standout arcs before prior to Punk Hazard as well as afterwards.. I'm still am an enormous fan of what Punk Hazard is. Fans say it’s bad, trash, or kind of dismiss it but it’s a very important arc. Several major plot developments take place there and there are crazy moments just like every arc. The world building and such at Punk Hazard I was very pleased with. I love that arc, but I definitely have to knock it as well because there is at least one factor that held it back from true greatness. Not to say it’s not great, it is, but I felt like there was potential for Punk Hazard to be greater, much greater and it all depended on one thing. I usually am pretty vehement about that one particular aspect when speaking on video games as well. I believe it’s paramount to success and creativity and bridging the story in many areas. It just helps so much to have it. I won't say what is missing though. I'll let the viewers decide for themselves

Pretty crazy you took five years to get back to it haha. That’s how long it took me to watch from start up to current. But I also don’t watch tons of anime. I stick to one show, maybe two max. But even two is too much for me and I feel overwhelmed with even just a second option. I prefer to dial in on one project and take plenty of time with it

brap brap when we going to get drinks with Vivi and tap those riches my boy? And fuck Lola the hippo she’s a dumbass, we aint going near that mess of a sea cow. Thats who Coby will end up with lmao

Will I hate it?

Anime I've loved: Ninja Scroll, Dr. Stone
I’ve never seen those. But there is one thing I know for sure. Your name is bender, and that indicates some taste. A man or woman of fine taste, will at least give One Piece its due respect, and watch a handful of episodes to test the waters. If your name was Dr. Zoidberg? I would require that you watch it all and turn in an essay after every arc

I think me and Cutty Flam are anime soulmates, One piece has been my jam since it came out, I let it build up from time to time as I'm too impatient to go episode by episode but it's the one anime I indulge in as I've bought and built all the model ships from the show and sport a big straw hat flag.

The friend of mine who got me into One Piece does the exact same thing, he waits until entire arcs are nearly finished or finished and then he’ll jump in. I’ve been thinking about having some One Piece art done, nothing crazy just wanted to pay a friend to draw some concept art. Most likely it would be of of either Luffy or Zoro. Maybe Ace. Sometimes my friend, who is an extreme fan of all anime (seemingly) will spot a car with a OP decal and snap a pic and show it to me lol

Here's a cover for you to enjoy bro Hinedorf Hinedorf

I just found him to be really, really boring.
i didn't like his underlings, even if I own a Baby 5 fig, his backstory as a celestial dragon did nothing for me. I thought the string cage was kinda convoluted and visually it just wasn;t as fun a fight as previous fights. He just seemed really generically evil and boring in a way other villains weren't. However, that arc does setup some of my absolute favorite moments in One Piece in the next couple arcs, so it wasn't a waste and I think had it been shorter I wouldn't dislike it so much.

His mannerisms were top notch. He is the greatest villain in my opinion. I felt like some could have been better, but he himself was definitely enough to make up for any inadequacies stemming from his operation / 'family' doing his bidding. I liked Baby 5 a lot. The rest served their purpose and were fairly strong and definitely odd and unique. But you're right, they weren't as entertaining as say those in CP9, but they at least were interesting on some level and certainly made Doflamingo's case of being unbeatable a fairly decent one. Let's be real here, Sugar's devil fruit power is horrifying. Pica is an absolute monster and it took an unfathomably strong and determined warrior to take him down. Zoro is much more than that btw, I'm just saying that Zoro is probably one of few who would even be able to stay alive versus Pica, let alone defeat him. His crew is terrifyingly powerful when united, but the way the war went down in the kingdom, there was isolation and from there the teamwork wasn't an option at some points

Trebol = Outwitted and defeated by Trafalgar Law
Diamonte = Faced off against a legendary Warrior with several profoundly powerful reasons driving him
Pica = Unlucky enough to have Roronoa Zoro as his opponent
Vergo = Essentially a do or die duel versus Law. Seemed a lot like a mch more formidable Lucci to me if the fight were to have persisted on
Sugar = Probably the most wicked in the crew aside from the Donquixote Doflamingo himself if you think about it. It's a sigh of relief knowing she was so incapable and weak in her own character, and just let that sinister devil fruit do all the work for her
Giolla = hate that character
Violet = Somewhat interesting character. Although, she was never truly a subordinate of his. And let us not forget her bust my, my, my........
Lao G = Lol this guy is a fucking idiot hahahaha
Senior Pink = Funny as fuck lol, his sob story is kind of wack but it adds a tiny bit of depth. But man was his character ridiculous lmfao
Machvise = Another dumbass, He just said ton-ton every time and took advantage of his devil fruit successfully
Dellinger = Pretty damn strong. It's a good thing he got taken out the way he did. He looked like a punk, but he seemed formidable
Gladius, Buffalo, Baby 5 = all somewhat of a joke in their own right. Well actually Gladius was formidable, but his fighting ability and wit is poor despite his demeanor. He was taken out relatively quickly because he was caught completely off guard by Bartolomeo

So he had four very impressively powerful subordinates. They were simply unlucky and had to fight insanely powerful and driven foes of their own. Gladius we cannot really determine how great of an accomplice he was to Doffy given his fight. Very solid crew, but all in all there could have been much more quality in the form of them appearing to much more devastating and formidable in how they fought and persisted in their ways. It all turned out incredibly entertaining imo

I was a big fan of Corazon as well. I am a huge fan of that character, I though he was excellent. I especially like how he was utilized. A very bright spot gleaming strongly in the arc and story whole. Corazon is an amazing character, even if he was only in the story so briefly. Same with the character from Zhou (I'm assuming you know who I'm talking about. I didn't feel like making another spoiler tag for those who didn't see Zhou arc lol)

One last thing before I end this very long reply towards that spoiler boi boi

Hard for me to rate seasons with One Piece because they are so uniquely weird and fucked up in their own ways. I will admit that tho I love Doffy the Dressrosa arc went too long and I'm still mired at the end of the Whole Cake Island arc allowing lots of material to build up before I do another binge.

It was very tough to rate them, I revised a handful of them, maybe put about 30 min into the project, but it was all roughly what I thought they deserved. Based off what I saw the arcs were going at / trying to accomplish as well as maybe 3-4 other factors I took into consideration. If I were to properly survey all the episodes in each arc I can probably make a more accurate rating for each arc, but man that would take a while lol

I’m with you dude, if there was ever an arc to wait it out and then binge, it’s the one going on right now. Whole Cake Island though, wow, the last half of it was nearly 10/10 work. You should enjoy the bulk of it if you’re nearing the end of the arc. Intense, really intense

Yoboman Yoboman lol is that real? I bet it is. There are some extremely knowledgable One Piece fans out there. That’s pretty cool, the anime could probably be godly beyond measure if it were perfectly adapted according to the manga. But I also enjoy anything else thrown in. I even love the filler at times. Long Ring Long Land Island arc for example, that was really fun. I loved that arc

I skipped G8 arc, sort of wanted to see it too, but at the same time, I wanted to jump right in to the next cannon arc. The filler is usually kinda cool if you have time to check it out

Yeah I checked it out and they haven't done all of the arcs still but seem to be doing the recent ones. Dressrosa is cut down from 117 episodes to 48 for example

I dont mind the filler from memory but the slow pacing had stopped me ever doing a rewatch

I'd also recommend doing a reread of the manga in the digital colour versions. They are fantastic and really bring the manga to life in a way i never found in black and white

Wow good look. I may have to check it out bro. Both the One Pace and the colored Manga volumes

Sometimes they have about 5-6 minutes it seems of recap at times, then you have the opening and ending songs, a little sneak peak at the next episode, it all adds up a ton. I don’t mind it, but I may be able to get my friend to watch One Piece if the fans did well by the project with that one

Thanks ☝️@Yoboman

One Pace ironically ruins the pacing.
Colored manga is also fucking garbage. I'll read it the way the creator intended instead of having their slaves color everything to look like the anime. Might as well not even read it.
I think its coloured based on Oda's direction

Sometimes I find the black and white hard to follow, or it doesnt fully convey the awesome environments Oda is envisioning. For example I enjoyed Fishman Island much more in the colour version. But that's just a personal thing

there"s something i hate about one piece since the straw hat crew entered the new world
they always get separated and they dont interact with each others like pre timeskip arcs
snjii and zoro didn't see each others since the first half of dressrosa arc before the crew split in 2 teams
luffy zoro usop franky robin stayed in dressrosa and sanji nami brook chopper went to zou
and when snji and zoro finally met after 213 chapters in wano there reunion was let down cuz oda off screened
the fight that took place between the straw hats and the shogun and his samurai

Nothing about it bothers me in the slightest. I'll tell you why in the spoilers tag. If anything, it's a testament to how powerful and resourceful they can be / are.
I think the separation was heavily premeditated. In fact, I believe the entire story of One Piece is heavily, if not almost entirely premeditated. I think that the entire separation bit involving the Straw Hats was meant to serve a bold point. A very, very strong point. And that point is that this pirate crew is beyond extraordinary and that even the "weakest / joke" characters are nothing to play with at all. Nami, Chopper, and Brook are all sort of wither considered a joke or kind of weak. Brook is a decent fighter but still, most thought of him as mid tier at best I think. But in Whole Cake Island they all put their heads together and outwitted their enemy. Outplayed them so to speak. That arc showed how dangerous they can be even to a Yonko, head on. I think Chopper was the only one who didn't fight Big Mom at any point iirc, but he was the one who defeated the key to that very island. He defeated, with Carrot's help, Brulee and in turn took over the use of Mirroworld. They all proved themselves to be major assets like no other; in Yonko territory with no plan really other than to succeed. To rescue Sanji and all come back alive. They fought only to advance and that was the real goal: to rescue and to persevere once their main objective was completed. Whole Cake Island is such a crazy arc when you think on it, so fucking insane that I sort of want to look at it more in-depth and see if I missed anything. I thought communication on that arc was excellent

Wano Kuni is a majorly complex arc / an operation and all out war on levels we will see again only at the very end, I am sure. They all know what their roles are and their objectives are very clear. They're all on the same page as far as I know. Things are getting more and more serious as this is the apex of the anime and manga I think. They've relied heavily on 9 Red Scabbards to relay any useful information and planning because they are familiar with EVERYTHING going on, being Oden's retainers. They've always been very sharp, the Straw Hats. Except for Luffy in his ways, but in the end he always knows enough and is able to survive do to his ways. He is a strong recruiter and he brings out the best in all his friends / his allies. I personally never took any issue with the direction of how the anime is going. I love it. There's nothing really to celebrate because Zoro and Sanji wouldn't do that anyway. The love is there, as seen in Thriller Bark. But they're not going to waste any time in hostile territory. Kaido's territory in present time. Sanji and Zoro? They wouldn't waste energy towards that when this is the ultimate test. Zoro especially. This will be Zoro's first bout with a Yonko, in his/her turf and rule (subordinates and how they will control the territory to resume all operations) and this will be Sanji's second experience being in such astronomical danger; facing a Yonko in unfamiliar territory. The real celebration will be when they open up Wano. I can see the most ostentatious and lively banquet in One Piece after all this takes place here at Wano Kuni and all is said and done. They should be safe from any invasion if they clear or drive out all enemies from the country. So that would mean they're free to enjoy the newly established rule of Momo-san and his retainers in a now peaceful era. I wouldn't be surprised if there were even two episodes of pure celebration and maybe one point of interest brought up in the anime. I think it's going to be that big

I haven't really been bummed about anything man. I have been in complete awe of this work since the start. The only time I have been slightly disappointed, is due to the lack of a threat that the Fishman Island villains and Punk Hazard villain posed to Straw Hat or any of his crew. That was nothing much for Luffy or his crew tbh. And so much depends on a strong villain imo. So I was a bit letdown there. But ever since then, I've been enjoying every bit. Levely, I thought should have been better too. Levely was left to imagination, mostly. But I have a feeling it will all come back in the last portion of One Piece. The events that took place at Levely are going to be the next arc after Wano I am going to assume? What do you think is after Wano btw?

Why is the soundtrack inferior to Naruto and Bleach when the series is actually the most popular?
Do not deny this fact kiddo.
I know I'm going to upset some with my saying this, but I was actually considering with much thought to get into watching Naruto. A very huge decision, that is a very long-running anime/manga series. But I listened in to about 8 tracks of its OST one night. Complete trash. Some middle school music teachers could have been pulled randomly and asked to compose Naruto OST for what it sounded like. I was not impressed, I was utterly bored and underwhelmed. Maybe I picked the wrong 8-10 tracks the bottom of the barrel ones, but they were trash

I wont knock Bleach, I've heard several people praise its OST although I have only watched the first episode so I would not know

One Piece's OST is accomplishing minor miracles in aiding cinematic greatness at its best in the anime. There are some times when a certain portion of a track from the OST is utilized to heighten emotion and dramatic affect. Well to put it briefly, those in charge of both the animation and the soundtrack and piecing where to place certain sounds and tracks are maximizing the potential of One Piece. I could post videos all day from the OST and talk about them. But I don't want to spoil anything for others. There is one moment in the anime, the most jaw-dropping moment in the entire series of One Piece thus far (imo) that took advantage of a completely new song (instrumental) that nobody had heard before. It moved me. They hype ontop of the shock ontop of the absolutely perfect use of the track in that moment and what everything meant from that point on; it was beyond beautiful it was gorgeous. I listened to that particular track like 60 times the month that I had reached that episode. Even the youtube video picture (art drawn by Echiiro Oda of the Mugiwara Pirates and a short saying above them) was moving and profound

One Piece's soundtrack motivates and inspires me. I workout to many of the battle songs sometimes during a set. I used to do heavy DB shrugs to one of the tacks it got me so focused and dead serious. One Piece has a versatile OST. I'm going to have to check out what people recommend from Naruto and Bleach because so far nothing too impressive has reached me despite me looking into both for a little while. Just had no luck those times I tried maybe...

What's the battle theme at 03:00 in #75 and do you work out to it Cutty Flam Cutty Flam ?

Question for the AMA: In Drum Kingdom, why did Luffy not stretch his arms to reach higher while climbing the mountain? :messenger_tongue:

I don’t have a Crunchy Roll account atm. I just tried 9anime.to but it’s not working, and Kissanime is not working for me either. If you have a youtube video of it I can probably find out the battle theme if you know when it starts

Most of the themes that got me pumped were further along in the anime. And it wasn't just the theme itself. It was the picture for the video as well; which showed Luffy in a field with a serious face. The picture doesn't take place in any part of the anime, but I related Luffy's look to some of the things he had done during the time in which I was watching and where I was at in the anime (mid 200s to mid 400s in like 2015 or so) and I was incredibly inspired. At the time bc I had sprained my ankle severely playing basketball with friends at the park (sprain grade 3) and I wouldn't be able to walk or even take a step for 4 1/2 months so I needed everything I could get on my side to complete upper body workouts so that bloodflow was adequate, upped my body's healing processes and all these other factors. I needed to fight for some kind of routine or else I would have never healed correctly given my situation. And one of the big things that got me super pumped and lazer focused during these seated dumbbell shrugsI would perform, was when I put on these particular two songs that were played during some of the biggest "nail-biter" fights in One Piece. In fact, One Piece in general kept me fighting unbelievably hard during those trying times. And I don't think I was even much depressed. I was fairly content because in part because of One Piece kept me entertained and I loved watching, and I was fighting every day doing 3-4 little workouts to stimulate blood flow and regain the ability to move and control the muscles in my legs. When I first began my workouts I could hardly tell my brain to use my toes and foot/ankle area was still swollen like 3X its size. I started Alabasta around that time, and by the time I was able to walk again, I had finished Thriller Bark and maybe I even went a bit further iirc. So I watched like over 300+ episodes in 4 months time haha. The anime kept me in check and resting while I healed. And it also provided me with a lot of motivation and inspiration to do what I needed to do

I don’t think he could take the chance safely. Sanji was unconscious, Nami sick and barely hanging on; Luffy could not risk a single mistake if he could avoid it. It was a horrific blizzard, he probably couldn’t see well past a few to maybe several feet ahead. And he was going very slowly feeling out the next spot to grab

What did you think? The climb atop Drum Island is definitely in my top 15 ‘Captain’ moments in the entire anime.

Luffy even gave up his own jacket and took his chances in the harsh blizzard to provide Nami with additional warmth and support. That was a miraculous feat. And he accomplishes this at age 17 too. Luffy’s heart and determination especially, is legendary / beyond comparison. You should see some of the things he accomplishes later on as well, Fushitsusha. And HOW he accomplishes them. Holy fuck. Some of the crazy shit that Luffy does, is just unbelievable

Interesting story and it can be related, this show is like soothing comforting therapy if you want it to be, because of how upbeat it is but not only. Excellent explanation as always with another perspective. I understand it was this way mostly for dramatic effect, but when the show has been so good at explaining most actions, you would think it would here too why Luffy was behaving like he suddenly did not have a devil fruit abillity at all. Kind of expected him to explain he was challenging himself further like the goof he can be. Definitely a top moment struggle so far. Loved everything about Drum Kingdom and Luffy's subsequent fascination with Tony Chopper was genuinely hilarious.

Chopper is indeed so cool. Enjoyed East Blue very much and Alabasta is even better. Skimming the thread I wonder about Shanks and Mihawk a lot and when it will show more. Would have thought Zoro surpassed him by now.

AMA: Where did Zoro lose his previous swords, fishmen? I forgot. Seeing Kitetsu III finally used in Whisky Peak was hype.
AMA: Did you also feel it odd, at the time, that Vivi decides to do a detour when the team finally reach her home instead of going to her father immediately? This will probably make more sense soon.

That pic will come before Dressrosa hahah

Definitely. The beginning was all so smooth and great; it was like a dream up until Whiskey Peak. And then things get serious. Wow. I cannot wait to hear your opinions on Alabasta. Also there's this one ending song I want to share so bad with everyone in this thread. It's such an amazing song with powerful animation sending a message; the Straw Hats and what they're about. It's only been about five years, but Alabasta brings back such fond and strong memories of nostalgia and comfort. Their plight and undertaking all the way through the Alabasta saga was such a perilous one, but reminiscing about it compared to what they face now makes it almost seem like they were purely having fun. It's a very difficult aspect to describe, the feel of Alabasta, once you finally reach the Kingdom, Fushitsusha Fushitsusha . But I am very fond of that entire land. Very vast and beautiful Kingdom with a ton of memorable episodes

That is an interesting catch. He only made full use of it during the most do or die times in that sequence, when he had lost his grip and even let go of his nakama, Sanji. That was a great scene. Who has such sharp instincts with their devil fruit as Luffy? He dropped Sanji and acted within a split second to use the only thing available which was his neck and teeth to retrieve him almost like a dog. Like Trico in the Last Guardian haha lol. But that was a very quick witted display. Display of how well he knows his ability. If you think about it, his devil fruit is kind of disadvantageous, but he makes it work to such a degree that it would seem that it is a top tier df...

Chopper is one of my top 7 characters in the anime I would say. I was so excited to see him when Luffy had finally made it and passed out. I don't know why I was so interested. He was so intriguing to me. I had saw him by accident before I even got like 20 episodes deep into One Piece I think, and ever since then I was greatly intrigued with the character. Very unique. And to my surprise and delight, his character is just as unique as his appearance(s). Gotta love Chopper. Very versatile character. I was actually thinking about sporting a fitted hat with his little insignia on his hat lol

We can estimate some things about the two given their...hmmm, I'll probably leave the word out at the very least since you haven't gotten that far, but yeah much is still to be wondered.

Nah, I actually never have played a single second of any Final Fantasy game. Not a second. But I've wondered many times what the series is like, what certain games are like. Especially Final Fantasy VI I think it is; which is touted as possibly the best? And then there is FFVII which is the classic and undisputed great, the standout of the series? I have a friend who is a devout fan of the series. He's sunken over 100 hours into the one on the Switch already, I think it's one of the games that actually features two games, but I cannot remember the name of it. I can go on and on about video games. Probably more so than I can about One Piece even. Very interesting to hear that Final Fantasy IX elicits the same feeling as One Piece can.. I'm going to keep that in mind for when/if I can ever get into the FF series. I sort of keep myself away from hardcore RPGs because I know something like FF would be right up my alley and I would want to play them all and can probably sink like 3,000 hrs easy into all the games lol

I'm gonna end it like this: Usopp is a fucking pimp, I'm putting him on the ballet when and if I vote this year for U.S Presidential Elections. If you don't vote for fucking Usopp the Great, you're doing your country a disservice. Plain and simple. We need an anime character to hold office next

Is it fair to say that Usopp does turn into a pimp for real? He is still scared but getting more and more confident in himself after every hardship.

I fucking hate Usopp.
I think you secretly admire him a lot. Heard it might even be love. Seriously though, did you not find him to improve at all compared to the beginning?

I keep coming back to this. They seemed friends. Freaking Mihawk, man. That guy absolutely provoked with his prowess. Just came to fuck shit up because of being bored.

AMA: Do we know if Shanks is more fearsome than Mihawk? 🤔
Even with one arm... especially with one arm. And one hook. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Usopp is definitely better. But he is still irritating af.

My favorite period of Usopp was
when he ran away when Luffy abandoned the merry and came back as Sniper King

Usopp may have his haters, but they know. They know never to even think of picking a fight with the Almighty Soppmaster

Ceallach Ceallach You wake up in the dead of night with little energy, scarcely enough to even lift a bottle of water to your lips to sip an eighth an ounce of water. Feverishly, you ache. And then all of a sudden, a rumbling and thunderous footsteps gather closer and closer to your door, before it is fully kicked off the hinges, glides over your head and takes off the top portion of your hair rendering you the ‘friar’ look. Your would-be petrified eyes (if not for the astronomical threat in front of you) dart frantically to the sight of Kratos and Zeus, chests heaving in anger / fists clenching with, pulsating veins and arms shivering with rage, angrily pointing at their kin Atreus, who lies below your bed with a blade deep in his deltoid. They are at full power. You are bedridden, with the strength of a soybean, even wakefulness alone being far too taxing to bear. Yet in front of you are two foes seething with the intention to annihilate, wanting nothing more than to unleash their full wrath upon you

Multiply the battle power of Kratos and Zues combined by about 8.3, and you have what it would be like to face Usopp
on his bad day

You see, Fushitsusha Fushitsusha , Ceallach Ceallach hates Usopp, but he dares not disrespect him. The Sniper King is too modest. He feigns fearfulness, but in reality, Usopp has the ability to take on all the sea kings in the Grand Line, in a half asleep drunken stupor. It’s all part of the plan

Mihawk is an interesting character. He’s the strongest swordsman. But if you want my opinion, Shanks is on a completely different level. Based off what I’ve seen and know, and many other long time fans have seen, we can assume as much. There are a few instances in which this is made clear. I hope nobody will spoil it for you on youtube or anywhere (or maybe you are one who doesn’t mind looking forward into upcoming arcs) because there are some legendary arcs ahead with some admirable moments to witness. If you have found that One Piece is a highly enjoyable anime / manga experience, you’ll get there before you even know it and then soon after, finding yourself revisiting the crazy scenes and such all the time lmao. That’s just how it goes with One Piece. Once you see something insane you’re going to want to see it a dozen more times at least

With Shanks, it’s tough to say just how strong he is because we still know very little. But based off what I’ve seen and have considered, overall prowess, Shanks is a top 6 character. In my mind, based off of theories I think align with what is most likely accurate, his placement is
currently the 3rd most powerful character in One Piece. But at that level, it’s a game of inches. He’s probably the greatest pirate alive currently, save Luffy, but Blackbeard is so treacherous and hard to read at this point that I suspect I could be wrong. And then there are two others...I have in mind. And then still, there are three others more currently ...It’s all very tough to say who is the strongest character and/or pirate. There has been just enough info to go off of, and contemplate this topic, but barely enough to come to any conclusive answers

But there is one character you must see. I would say that anyone who enjoys anime must see and know this character with full context. But unfortunately for most casual anime watchers, they will likely not reach that far in the anime

But I’d like to share a little story and song that sort of relate to the character I’m speaking of and how I feel. The character’s contributions and actions left such an impression upon me, that one day in the gym I played a song from the game, Shadow of the Colossus (PS2), and a certain part in the song reminded me mid-set of this character, and (his/her) unbelievable, enormous presence in the related arc to said character. I was doing heavy dumbell lunges, suffering or more accurately said, ‘enduring’ through these very strenuous working sets of walking lunges, trying to pull everything I had from the reserves of my will and spirit to stay in the zone and continue past the burn of those final reps, endure the microtearing of the prolonged eccentric part of the lunge and contract the muscles with all my concentration, sweat pouring and surrounding my skin like a full on layer of water. And when I heard this part in the song, it reminded me of said character and the legendary everything that had taken place and it all brought out within me the most insane willpower and strength to persevere to reach my goals and achieve. Seriously helped me tap into some Zoro level training intensity; since I had to endure crazy amounts of time under tension. Listen to 0:54 to about 1:42 — that part of the track makes me think of this character. Imagine a warrior so fierce and powerful, so above the rest that you almost wonder if human. Basically like witnessing several conquerers all in one. Ghenghis Khan + Alexander the Great + Attila the Hun but in One Piece form as a single protagonist/antagonist however you see it as. It’s like going up against an angel of death, seeing a demigod challenge men, fight men, yet this character is definitely human...Imagine that level. This character imo is the most impressive I have seen in my entire time watching various anime (although I hear Guts is otherworldly as well). It’s just fucking insane, this character. And all that this character has displayed in such short time. All in one arc. Fucking legendary. It’s just legendary, no other way to describe the statement this character made through all efforts. So amazing, that the arc passes by quicker than you can even realize; that’s how high in entertainment value it is. To me, at least it was. Man......
