I added some more chromatic aberration, because there wasn't quite enough.
Now I can't tell this apart from reality.
And this attitude is why publishers don't want to take the extra time needed to make a game great

Development is very iterative and the scope of the game is said to have grown immensely over the years. Just imagine the tech hurdles they've had to overcome.
Don't you rather have a brilliant ambitious open world AAA RPG in late 2020, than a mediocre run-of-the-mill IP by 2017?

I’m sure the pandemic played its role in this as well. Just a small thing to note, sheesh, people are so inpatient and unreasonable, expect to be disappointed when your expectations are like this.
CDPR should delay again if they need to! The longer they take to polish the game the better it will be. There’s always shit the gets left on the cutting room floor and when games get delayed some things that may not have made it in find there way into the game and bugs get fixed. We will be getting a better game. I don’t understand people getting down on it now, why is a better game a bad thing? Because of your lack of patience? Try delaying gratification just once in your life and you may learn something.

It comes out in fucking November now my hype wasn't that much to begin with now theres zero maybe closer to release this is definitely a ps5 / xsx game now really no point to current gen one.

I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty positive this is gonna be my Game of the Year. I've been a fan of CDPR since Witcher 1 and I almost feel like a doting parent watching them become what they have over the years.

the game looks A LOT better from those screenshots. The gameplay trailer looked rough as shit but it seems they've been hard at work.

Raytracing will be there 100%, they already put out a trailer for it last year. Now DLSS is another story, I wish the game supported it, the gains are incredible.

well in game trailer doesnt mean gameplay , as they not saying it will be gameplay so ... ehhh . another trailer that will lok good and probably with cool music too that i will love. but delayed game kinda looses that hype. i will still play it sure because it wont be anything better at that time to play , but it could loose some hype for sure after next gen consoles will show more and more trailers and gameplays, this game wont look so good anymore when it will release...

They have to be hand and hand. The raytracing is too demanding to not have DLSS helping when you're using it for lighting like they are. Using it for reflections is bush league.

It's a Nvidia "Way It's Meant to be Played" game so they will be present on release, working properly on the other hand however is another story.

so gameplay then not in game trailer well i hope. and now they talking about all versions next gen too, like there will be patches for game, well they better be good too because game is so much late allready. so they need to do now 5 versions of game properly in stead of 3 versions that they had before. thats even more preasure on them, imagine if one version will look much worse then other , people would just attack them for that. so no preasure i guess but they brought that themselfs. They should just release game early and then patch it . at least i would prefer that better then waiting game so long.
and i remember on some e3 last years maybe they said that game is done allready its done just need bug fixing and polishing, well that bug fixing kinda went for long time is it now ? or they just not teelling us that adapt it for consoles is much more work that they thought.

I'm not gonna watch even a single minute of the game from this point on.
I've done this with every game in the last 2 years and it made me enjoy games way more again.
I watch enough to tell if a game looks like I would like it or not, and then stop.
it's too often that developers show way too much stuff and ruin surprises etc.

I wish they'd show the actual nighttime so we cans see if the lighting pops vs this constant day or dusk scenes they keep showing. Also chromatic aberration needs to be an option in every game that uses it, it's an awful effect that should have died off years ago.

Sadly, I feel the same way. Will still get the game and will likely love it, regardless, but it sucks some of us are reaching this point.

I was generally unimpressed with what they showed in the last reveal, it looked uninteresting and nothing seemed fresh.
I have high expectations really as I want a next gen rpg from them.
I know the story and characters will be dope cause it's CDPR, but gameplay is my concern, I really want it to be good and varied.
