I haven't seen this, but that one iconic scene in which Donald Sutherland's character points at his friend as she runs to embrace him and starts screeching like a beast always creeped the shit out of me. Very effective.

It's definitely on my "to watch" list though.

I saw it as a kid and it creeped the fuck out of me. The whole movie really creeped me out. The feeling of paranoia is constant. It was like a mini Hereditary for its time. It's kind of too bad that scene is so iconic cuz it's an amazing moment that should be experienced properly. I think I saw it before I was able to see the entire movie too.

If we're doing movie tracks I don't think you can get much more effective than "In The House, In A Heartbeat" I know we've probably all heard it by now in some capacity, but I still think it's the official theme of "OK EVERYONE START FUCKING PANICKING"

Love this track. The music in 28 Days was incredible. I loved how they brought this track back in the intro for 28 Weeks. That scene was so nightmarish. Watching it in theatres I thought it was someone's fuckin' nightmare.

Dude, when that fucking electric guitar kicks in I really feel like I'm being chased across an enormous field by countless flesh-devouring monstrosities. If a composer can make you feel like you're experiencing what the film is showing you, they've succeeded in my book.

This song is about him being molested by his father as a kid. He full on weeps on the record. Heavy shit.

I don't think it was his Father. I think it was Jon's babysitter or a family friend if I'm not mistaken. Creepy song, for sure.

Anyway, Primitive Man released a single the other week. They melt my face and make me want to watch the world split in half.

Okay, I'm gonna take a risk and post some straight-up mainstream pop here, but "Take Me to Church" by Hozier is basically the christian church's equivalent of "Hollywood" IMO. As someone who grew up in a pretty religious family and has seen how it can change people, it really resonates. Plus I personally find the song pretty harrowing.
