Nacon accessories is where it's at. Gonna be interesting to see if they say anything about PS5, but maybe it's too soon.

their controllers are the fucking worst. many models have unfixable input latency, their triggers are atrocious and the ergonomics are questionable at best

Really? I've heard plenty great things about them, but always held off because of the price. Was contemplating biting the bullet on the Revolution Unlimited if there would be PS5 support as well. Now I'm not so sure though...

So, this happened... Kind of.

This has been a very talky, talky show. Needed way more gameplay.

  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is the Big Bad Wolf RPG, and they showed a teaser trailer, no gameplay. 2021.
  • RIMS Racing is a new motorbike racing game from a new studio Race Ward (using the Kylotonn KT engine), and they showed a bike render while talking about how it's a bike racing game like no other. Summer 2021.
  • Rogue Lords is a Cyanide RPG that is inspired by Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow (but more importantly, the character designs are Burtonesque.) Animated trailer, but also a few seconds of some turnbased battles were shown. 2021, PS4/Xbox One,Switch,PC.
  • RIG, an accessories company Nacon bought (maybe they're a name? I'm not too familiar with if RIG products are good or not, I saw on I think this thread that the Nacon products aren't so loved,) and they have some new gaming hardware coming out. There's some smartphone controller stuff coming out, but also there will be peripherals for Xbox Series X/Xbox One/PC coming out.
  • Steelrising is a new Spiders action-RPG, they showed some character customization and art design. Historical fiction about battling robots on the command of Queen Marie Antoinette to defeat King Louis XVI in a steampunk Paris. CG teaser.
  • Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood shown in gameplay trailer (hey, gameplay?!) Feb 4 2021 on PS5/4 Series X/One, Epic Games PC
  • Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was revealed. By KT Racing (makers of the current WRC and a few other BigBen racers.) Has a big island to race and real cars you can buy. They showed a teaser, and also some footage of their racing engine that probably has little to do with TDU.
  • Roguebook is a new card-battle RPG by the makers of Faeries, and they spent a lot of time talking about how fun it is to play with cards.
  • Tennis World Tour 2, THAT they showed a gameplay trailer of.
  • Warhammer Chaosbane is coming to PS5/Series X.
  • WRC 9 is a game and they showed a full race of that. Sept 3 for platforms already announced.
And, that's the show.

Steel Rising from Spiders is really the only game that I have legitimate interest in. Loved GreedFall so im definitely looking forward to seeing and knowing more about Steel Rising.

The guy who worked on TDU1 made this new one sound promising. A 1 to 1 scale island, cool! Yeah gameplay would have been nice but it sounds a long way off anyway it wouldn't be ready. Just warms my heart to hear it officially announced. Will be hanging out in their discord server a lot.

They actually did show some footage of something in the TDU Solar Crown reveal (they showed some of the development engine and then a rally course), but I'm guessing that's WRC trailer footage instead of TDU? They didn't label it, but I'm assuming you won't have a co-driver (or even helmets) in Test Drive Unlimited...

I am excited for TDU coming back, at least, and am crossing my fingers that it turns out well.

As a motorcyclist and a fan of racing games, both RiMs Racing and TDU Solar Crown have me interested.

Steelrising setting and premise seems really cool.

Vampire: TM - Swansong has me interested but confused. Is it a standalone expansion to the first game? I'm assuming 2 will take place after it and be completely separate.

I was excited to hear more about Werewolf and Vampire. But I guess I didn't really get a great amount of either. At least one showed gameplay, albeit I don't really know how to feel about it.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. They don't provide any good details at all.

Yeah the gameplay is from WRC, not from TDU.
Very disappointed that TDU is far away still. I hope it will be good at least.

I'm not too familiar with the franchise, but I'm kind of confused which specific Vampire TM games we're mentioning here? There are the old games Redemption and Bloodlines, and of those Bloodlines is finally getting a sequel, but it's unconnected to Swansong; different developer/publisher, different gameplay. Then there's Vampire: The Masquerade: Coteries of New York the card RPG, and that is also getting its own follow-up this year, a stand-alone expansion called Vampire: The Masquerade: Shadows of New York (but again, different publisher/developer.) And then there's Swansong, which we're only being teased on but I think is some kind of next-gen adventure game like the team's previous work The Council?

So as I understand it, there's 3 totally different gamelines are going with the franchise currently: the RPG Bloodlines, the narrative Swansong, and the cardbattler New York.
