I tried to read the comic on the suggestion of a friend. Corny and tried too hard to be edgy. I like the show a lot, even though I kind of blank on the plot of the middle episodes. I just remember how it began and how it ended.

First episode of new season is really slow for me. It's not super woke, but pretty much nothing interesting happens. I'm 44 minutes in and it's a bit of a slog.

Loved the first three episodes, bit of a slow burn but some much needed character building. I said it about season one already, but boy did they cast some great actors in this show!
homelander is fucking terrifying in every scene because you feel like he can just snap at any minute, every time he interacts with anyone I'm wincing.
I wasn't a fan of the new girl stormfront, she just seemed borderline annoying in the first two episodes and didn't really seem to fit in. Then episode three happened and, well... No spoiler talk
For those worried they would somehow woke it up in season 2, relax. The writers even poke fun at diversity quotas and girl power in a way that hits pretty close to the bone, and almost felt like a subtle dig at other shows.
Overall, great stuff, so glad it didn't end on the cliffhanger I thought it would end on.
