It's been so blatantly obvious that was a huge reason Sony put the game on PC..
Why anyone denied it is beyond me, people just can't think outside of their own thought bubble.
They make a little bit of cash, and advertise their brand.. which still is largely exclusive to their consoles.

If they invested in a port for HZD, the odds are very high that games after that will also be ported to PC. "When" doesn't matter tbh. It's more of a question of "will" it come to the PC or not.

Nobody cares about "user reviews" though. There will always be a vocal minority angry on their keyboard, devs know pretty well it doesn't mean much. TLOU2 got destroyed in user reviews, it had zero effect on sales or pro reviews.

Judging by reviews, they really didn't invest in a port (which, again, was not done by Guerrilla themselves) if the results are anything to go by.

Yea that was a bad move by them. They'll have to get their feet wet in this port to help shore it up. Hopefully they will be more involved with HFW.

Well, depends of TLOUS2 legs. Just like RDR2. Those game have a tons of crunch and money invested, even with high sale numbers is not enough to take the development cost plus money used on PR.
I like to use RDR2 because RDR1 is not on PC and like TLOUS2 both games have problems with crunch in dev team. In the end of day, is up to Sony.

I have no clue of programming but wouldn't porting be a lot more difficult on next-gen? What if Guerilla fully utilizes all the custom hardware that is not on PC? How would they port it over? By downgrading?

This simply isn't true. I own a PS4 Pro,got the platinum for HZD already,and I'm sitting here waiting for the download to finish on PC to play the game all over again.

the hardcore PC gamer is never going to buy consoles. Console players will buy PCs sure, but these are the players Sony should be focused on keeping. And these ports will encourage those console players to invest in PC instead of the PS5.
