Yes, Sony could do that. The thing is Microsoft offerings aren't that great. Their game studios aren't worth paying 120-180 dollars a year for yet or for quite a while.

I don't get this. I expect some #firstpost slack but I've been quietly reading this forum since the PS4 launch build-up, on a daily basis getting my info and reading all the drama that happens when leakers share things or people get annoyed.

Gradually it has moved from interesting to pulp fiction. I'm not even going to get started on the fakers that were vetted as leakers just for giggles, that just boggles my mind..But what I genuinely don't get is that seemingly nice guys, like Heisenberg post a lot of good stuff here and share interesting leaks, get attacked once some people feel there is not enough news or that they don't get their daily dose of rumors.

I'm probably a 41-year-old boomer that is annoyed by everyone being so entitled, offended, and conspiracy theorist but let's all calm the F down and enjoy talking actual console competition and embrace the tidbits of information we sometimes get from good people around here.

Indeed. And it’s not like PlayStation exclusives don’t get there at some point. It looks like pretty much all of the last gen exclusives are there permanently and current gen stuff has definitely cycled through. Adding the older current gen exclusives wouldn’t be that big a deal as they’ve been given away with Plus anyway.

I would not be at all surprised to see Now getting enhanced and combined with Plus for next gen, or at least an option to combine.

Would love to see a Smart TV streaming option for Plus again.

I wouldn’t blame Heisenberg for that, he tells us what he’s heard, but never passes it off as the absolute truth and never claims that the information is 100% accurate. I appreciate his humbleness. However Gaf clinging onto his tweets and replies is their problem, I’m guilty of this as well. Truth is the thread has been starved of new information for a few weeks now about the consoles so we’re just hungry for any sort of news/leaks/information. Desperate I know.

Considering Spiderman MM got rated recently along with Demon souls. I expect demon souls to be a launch game.

how good is demon souls? I heard it was the hardest souls game to play? I’ve platinumed BB and Sekiro. Played DS3but I couldn’t commit to getting all the miracles, rings and sorceries etc. I just hope Demon souls is fast paced like DS3, BB and sekiro.

Imo Sekiro is the hardest Soul. But as all Souls game it's super hard at first (especially when the mechanics are super new to the player), but once you get used to it it's not that hard, it's just that FS games require high focus and patience, at least more than +99% of other games.

It's not a real teardown. They're just guessing how the PS5 is built.

No game will reach 10.23 TFlops. That's the theoretical max of the system and is only obtainable in the most ideal if circumstances. Depending on how efficient the PS5 is it can get pretty close. Same thing for the XSX because saturating all the CUs perfectly to reach 12Tflops is impossible to do in real life. Just a theoretical max.

Yeah, both are theoretical. But PS5 with it's variable frequencies trying to squeeze much more of it.

The point is if you are saying that Sony had the edge due to software then it's not impossible for Microsoft to just use better, cheaper software.

Personally I think there are probably cool customizations to the PS5 RT hardware but i'm addressing the claim that it's software that's going to make PS5 do better.

It's patented, it's not like they can. They need to invent their own solution, years of studies and R&D. Sony is licensing it, probably exclusivity deal as well in the console field. It'll be available on PC, smartphones as well.
