Fu** Nintendo of America for poorly packaging my refurbished Nintendo 3DS XL (I blame Jooxed)

I can't believe I spent over $150 on a refurbished Nintendo 3DS XL only to have it shipped so poorly with no consideration of the item whatsoever.

For context, Nintendo pride themselves over their refurbished products and I was excited to finally enter the world of the 3DS. I bought the refurbished new Nintendo 3DS XL (Red) and waited patiently for the package to arrive.

The first sign of sheer incompetence from Nintendo was the fact that my package was held by DHL because Nintendo of America didn't properly write my address (incorrect address). They didn't even fu**ing bother putting the effort of dignifying my residence and didn't even email me about it until I found out myself.

The second and WORST sign was when the package arrived. NO BUBBLE WRAP, NO ENCLOSING EMPTY SPACES IN THE PACKAGE, NO SENSE OF SHAME WHATSOEVER BY NINTENDO OF AMERICA. The fu**ing 3DS system itself inside the package was sliding as I tilted the package sideways hitting from one side to the next. My horrifying realization was that this "proudly refurbished" 3DS was getting banged harder than TaySan TaySan 's hypothetical hotwife in the middle of a summer afternoon.

I'm furious and I'm fast enough to realize I'm gonna send this shit back to Nintendo and get my FUCKING MONEY BACK! My fellow GAF Americans, I URGE you all to not support Nintendo of America's refurbished products because they don't respect their own product's safety and dignity.

*sighs*

Look at these hypocritical sons of bitches telling us to pad the system well before shipping it to them :lollipop_angry_face:

Can't get a refund if device has any signs of damage. Nintendo did a level 9000 IQ move right there. Can't compete with chess, when you got checkers.

You could pull a 9001 IQ move on them. Ship it back to them without a box. Just slap the shipping label between the 2 screens.

My refurbished Wii U was packaged like it was brand new with separate pull out trays for everything. I've always heard nothing but good things about Refurbished Nintendo products.

Quick search regarding packaging:

Inside the box, everything was properly packaged and wrapped in plastic. It looks like the packaging of a brand-new device. On the box, it says the unit was cleaned, tested, and inspected.

Yeah, they packaged everything well except the 3DS XL.

Check out any YouTube unboxing of those and you'll see what I mean by "sliding out of the bubble wrap".

I don't see a problem.

The galaxy one clearly shows how poorly packaged it was when you close enough. The bubble wrap seals the upper, bottom, and left of the 3DS but the right side is completely exposed to any sort of impact.

What's worse is that shit slides out of the bubble wrap and hits the side of the package repeatedly in a MOVING shipment. When i received my package, I realized how much the system was moving inside left and right when I was holding the package in different angles.

Imagine the amount of times the 3DS slid out of the unsealed right side of the bubble wrap and hit the right side of the shipment package.

Fuck Nintendo of America for packaging it poorly.

Packaging looks perfectly acceptable to me.

You seem to be one of the few that have any kind of problem with a Refurbished Nintendo product.

Bubble wrap is an environmental hazard, just goes to show how little you care for your fellow man, animal, plant and Jooxed Jooxed Why do all of us have to suffer for YOUR fucking package? Nintendo always has the world's best interests at heart and you just hate them for it.

Get your own back on them by packaging yourself up and sending yourself back to Nintendo and then jump out of the box and beat them all up/berate them for their poor customer service. Thats the only sensible thing to do imo, for reference:

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel the box... and the games... even the stylus. The console I've lost... the package they shipped... won't stop hurting... It's like Nintendo's still there. You feel it, too, don't you? I'm gonna make them give back our past.

I've had good experiences w/ Nintendo's store. Sorry to hear your 3DS got banged up. Hopefully it's ok. I actually wish I had bought a refurbed Wii U as a back up.
