Since pretty much all of the first party titles shown by Sony were native 4k, they should be able to release 1080p versions of those games with just 2.5 tlops. Quarter res for quarter the power.

Casuals would love it. Poor people will finally have someone other than Phil Spencer tending to their needs. Gone are the days when console makers would launch powerful next gen consoles for $100-200 losses to hit a reasonable price point. Now they can just offer us current gen performance without taking a loss.

Calling it now. Next gen PS6 Lockhart 10 tflops. It should run every native 4k game designed to run on a 40 tflops Series X PS6 at 1080p. Who needs a better gpu when you can just upgrade the cpu am i right.
